I was on my way to Washington DC from Ottawa when I heard about this place and planned my whole route around it. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The owner and staff were super kind and accommodating when I asked for a mix of dishes so I could try a little bit of everything without getting stuffed. I ended up getting the oxtail with rice and peas, plantain, cabbage, and a piece of jerk. And let me tell you, every bite was like a party in my mouth. The rice had just a hint of coconut milk, the chicken was perfectly cooked and spiced, and the oxtail was so tender and juicy, I had to close my eyes to fully enjoy it. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a little adventure and a whole lot of flavor. The chef at Got Jerk!
