I made our reservation a month before and asked to be seated inside. They seated us outside and it was the worst experience! All of us (party of 4) have over 5 mosquito/bug bites. (They did give us bug spray but it did not repel anything!) I did ask our waitress if they were able to move us inside and was told no. Dinner: The truffle pasta is a MUST if you love truffle! (You can order in half or full plate) The Calamarata dish was superb! We did put in a request for a special dessert and they were able to accommodate as best they can. The 20% gratuity is added to your bill even if the service is slow/bad.

From mocktails to apps to dinner to the service, everything was impeccable. The Dalmatia Spritzer was so good and made it fun for me to be at an event where I'm unable to drink due to pregnancy. The mustard on the cheeseboard was phenomenal and paired great with the hard cheeses, and the pickled veggies were a wonderful addition, as well. The caprese was unique as they were unable to source mozzarella and had to substitute blue cheese which I was a little skeptical about but turned out great. The grilled calamari was perfectly cooked and had so much flavor. My steak was cooked perfectly and was the best steak I've ever had. Also, I can't stop thinking about the pistachio sponge cake!

Absolutely the best ribeye steak around....so much better than 1700 at the Hilton...not even close. If you're willing to pay for the best then you are going to get it with this one. Great atmosphere as well and ownership and staff are extremely attentive and accommodating

Back for an outstanding dinner. Wonderful server. This certainly remains one of the best gourmet options in Harrisburg. Not too busy on a rainy Thursday. For starters, we shared heirloom tomatoes and a pasta with truffles. Great to have these two together. Pasta was pricey at $50 but truly delicious. Blame it on a nice amount of shaved truffles and truffle oil! For main I had a branzino which was perfectly cooked. Served with too many potatoes though. Would have preferred something green rather than the heavy potatoes. Others might disagree. The star of the night was a filet special with sheep milk fondue, escargot and mushrooms. All the flavors and textures worked together in an inspired way. We had a glass of wine each. Loved the white I had from northern Italy in a German style. Crisp and well described by the server. A good place to Mangia. Qui. Yes.

Everyone raves about Mangia Qui and I just don't understand why. I felt like it was hipster pretentious without the food chops to back up the atmosphere. I was here for lunch with co-workers in a group of 12. We were seated immediately and ordered beverages. I had the mandarin orange iced tea which tasted exactly like the Celestial Seasons Tangerine Orange Zinger tea that I make at home. We ordered and three of us ordered soup. I had a special seafood soup; I forget what they called it. I was surprised when it was served that it was green and very thin and runny. There was some sweet crab garnish that I enjoyed but the soup was heavily spiced with cumin. It was odd. After we completed the soup everyone's entrees started to come out. Two at a time. With large gaps of time in between. When I received the the crab cake sandwich that I ordered most of my coworkers were already halfway through their meals. The bun was much larger than the crab cake. It was served with french fries that were clearly from frozen. When I took a bite there seemed to be a lot of filler and the whole thing was really squishy. So yeah, I don't get why people rave about this place. I'll go if I have to for a work event but I don't see myself voluntarily choosing this place.

Came here last Sunday with an out-of-town friend. I've been here several times and they never disappoint me. Very consistent in their quality. Ordered off their somewhat limited brunch menu. We started with 2 Bloody Mary's. Luckily, there was a crab omelet special that we couldn't pass up. The omelet was a generous size and cooked perfectly- very light and fluffy. The creamy sauce on top went well with the crab. Side of vegetables went well with the omelet too. Restaurant is very comfortable. Staff was a little loud in the bar area though.

This is my favorite restaurant. I literally cannot say enough good things about it. The drinks are balanced and innovative. The quality of the food is second to none. The seasonal menu is a delight. The only way to do it is a four course meal, appetizer, half order of pasta, entree, dessert. The Santiago cake and the bread puddings are the top of the list when it comes to dessert. They shuck their oysters so cleanly. The oyster happy hour is an amazing deal. Only once in a blue moon is there a dish that is sub par. The servers are lovely and knowledgeable and seem genuinely enthusiastic about the food. I could go on but you get the gist.

Best Sunday brunch in the Harrisburg area. Great food, extremely reasonable prices and fantastic service. Enjoyed sharing eggs Benedict and ricotta pancakes with pineapple and peaches. It was all perfect.

Front: duck breast and polenta. Rear: pork tenderloin with bean salad.

Great brunch with friends. My burger was delicious and the sangria was excellent as well.

Expensive Garbage. Rude owners. Just didn't like the service here. Won't be back. Live bands are even worse than the restaurant

Friday night in Harrisburg, and Los Tres Cubanos was already buzzing by 5 p.m. (pro tip: they open…read moreat 4 -- make a reservation if you want inside seating). We rolled in without one but happily claimed a little café table outside. The weather was warm, the cocktails were cold, and our waitress checked in often enough that our glasses never sat empty for long. We kicked things off with the beef empanadas ($9 for two big ones) and -- oh my goodness -- these were dream-level empanadas. Golden-brown, fried crisp on the outside yet soft and tender inside, stuffed with simply seasoned, flavorful ground beef. The tangy-sweet red sauce they came with was the perfect co-star. I'd come back for these alone. Cocktails ran about $12 each. I had the Havana Special (fresh pineapple juice, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, and Cruzan Rum) -- tropical, bright, and just sweet enough. My adventure buddy ordered the Canchanchara (honey, lime, rum, and chilled water -- said to be Cuba's oldest cocktail), which was refreshing and citrusy, perfect for a summer night. For dinner, I went for the Camarones Enchilados ($27) -- Cuban-style shrimp in Creole sauce with white rice and sweet fried plantains. Generous serving of perfectly cooked shrimp in a savory tomato-based sauce with diced peppers, onion, and garlic... I brought half home, but not before finishing every last plantain. The sauce was light but packed with flavor, and the rice soaked it up like a champ. Adventure buddy ordered the Cuban Fried Rice ($25) -- shrimp, ham, chicken, and sweet plantain all fried together, topped with an egg. The rice had that crispy-but-soft magic, the proteins were tender and flavorful, and while he wished the egg had been runny, it was still well-executed. Another giant portion, another take-home box. Our bill for two was about $100, and every dollar felt well spent. Los Tres Cubanos is tucked just outside the hustle of downtown, which makes it easy to miss -- but don't. Between the authentic flavors, generous portions, and charming atmosphere, it's worth seeking out. And bonus: you can stroll the nearby Susquehanna River Walk afterward to justify ordering that second empanada next time.

The food was pretty good…read more For an appetizer, we had Croquetas. No lime wedges as described. The filling was interesting, and the sauce was a sweet salsa. These were good but not great. My Cuban sandwich (La Cubanita) was terrific (best item we had). My son's Pan Con Lechon (pork sandwich) was dry. It was missing the sauce described on the menu. My daughter liked the Camarones Enchilados (shrimp entre), and my spouse liked her Lechon Asado (pork entre). For dessert, we had coconut cheesecake (my son loved it), chocolate cake (which was just okay), and empanadas with cheese and guava filling, which were really good. My issue, more than the food, was the service. We made a reservation for 7, and it took about 10 minutes to get seated, which would be okay, but the waitress/hostess was needlessly busy with one of two tables in the restaurant (she took care of multiple issues with them when seating us would have taken only a moment). She also seated us in a somewhat cramped space when a larger one was available (my children are adults, and my son is tall). I got the feeling we were inconveniencing her. I also tried to engage in small talk with the bartender. He was rude, which I initially thought might be due to a language issue. Later, he yelled at customers who came in after 9, so I began to feel that he might actually be rude. The entrees took a long time, 80 minutes from when we were seated. We ordered them at the same time as the appetizer, which came out quickly. Additionally, desserts took a considerable amount of time. The waitress explained that the chef had burnt the first batch of empanadas and was making them again. I would have liked the option not to have them, as it was after 9 pm at that point. We were there for 2.5 hours along with several other tables (perhaps 8 in total). This was likely due in part to there being only one waitress and the bartender/owner, who seemingly did nothing but make two or three drinks the whole night (in addition to yelling at potential future customers). It was also quite expensive given the experience we had. I would have had more fun at Tres Hermanos on Cameron at a third of the cost and without the yelling. I will not be back, although I may order a sandwich in the future and eat it by the river.
