The service, live music, and ambiance was overall very good. Food presentation was also great. I had the drunken noodles, veggie fresh rolls, and some of my wife's yummy noodle. The fresh rolls were awesome. Very crisp, refreshing, and you could taste the Thai basil which is always nice. The sauce they were served with was very flavorful. The drunken noodles left a little to be desired. They were listed as spicy, and I probably could have asked for more spice, but I found it underwhelming. It had sort of a flat flavor and was something I would have expected at a more Americanized Thai restaurant. After seeing some reviews saying it was a on-brand experience, I didn't find this dish to blow me away. The yummy noodles were a different story. I found the flavor pallette to be deep and robust. I found myself trying to sneak food away off my wife's plate instead of eating my drunken noodles. That would be a dish I would order for myself. Great sauce, well prepared meat, awesome texture. Not a bad place to eat, and 2/3 dishes were a good hit. I'd argue you could probably get the same experience somewhere else for less money, but still not a bad place to have dinner. read more

Extensive menu with lunch specials on weekdays. -- Drunken Noodles: Modest lunch special serving with very tender chicken slices, seemingly cooked fresh. Extremely soft rice noodles. Adequate flavors. -- Pork Dumplings (appetizer): Small bites, subtle flavors. Pleasant but ordinary. -- Khao Soi: Very large bowl that mitigates the high sticker price ($23.95). Color of the thick curry broth, darker and more red than most (usually it's yellow, and the menu here describes it as yellow). Flavors a little sweeter than most, but not without a little kick. Crunchy noodles on top and soft noodles underneath a little thinner than most. Filling and enjoyable but not elite. Satisfactory suburban take on Thai. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars across the board. From what I've been told the children took over the restaurant from the parents and made some beautiful renovations. We were greeted by one of the owners. A smile as big as his personality! They have a corner with instrument where live bands perform. We were there for lunch. The pictures attached show how nice the decor is. We ordered shrimp shumai and drunken noodle with Shrimp. Traditional flavors and just enough heat. A few months ago I asked the internet if anyone in New England made gluten free crab rangoons. I found a whole thread about La Miette La Mai and knew I had to try it. We called in a takeout order for crab rangoons and pad Thai. The server was extremely knowledgeable on allergens and allergen procedures. The food was delicious. I loved the crab rangoon, especially since I haven't had one in so long. The pad Thai was amazing as well. Tons of gluten free options. Definitely a place to go if you have allergies! I had a lovely experience here for dinner with my uncle! The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful! Very clean and nice decorations. There's plenty of parking as well. Their menu has manyyy options and they also boast a chefs curated dinner menu as well. I was looking forward to trying the mango chicken but the chef wasn't in that day. I decided to try the "mini platter" appetizer with samosas, crab rangoon, Thai rolls. Each it's was delicious! I love how bite sized the options were to get a sense of the cuisine but not get too full before the entree. The restaurant also has a Moscow mule column of drinks. Which I thought was pretty neat. It's been my go to drink lately so it was fitting they had options to experiment with. I tried the "la miette" which infused strawberry puree with their house vodka. It was pretty good! We stopped here when we were on a road trip from Maine to New Jersey. Was soooo impressed with the food!! We went with our 2 year old and 5 year old and enjoyed the live music on a Friday night! I haven't had a restaurant experience this great in a long time. The atmosphere is unique, there was awesome live music, the drinks were delicious and Ziggy, our waiter, was so friendly and fun! You would expect great Thai food to be mostly concentrated in and around Boston itself. This is a hidden gem way out west. It's not convenient for me to get to, but if you find yourself out that way, definitely go here. The Thai iced tea was so good. I could tell immediately by the color that it was going to taste great. Their version of blanket shrimp was nice and crispy. Same for the golden bags. I opted for the basil pad thai. It was yummy. There are so many dishes that sound delicious on the menu. I had a second visit here recently after hearing rave reviews. The food is excellent. I will say that the service is not very good. Both visits I had reservations. Both times we had to ask for a server to come over after our table was ignored for 20 minutes or more. On the recent reservation no one came by to offer us another cocktail or ask how our appetizers or meals tasted. I really wanted dessert on this particular night but after 1 1/2 hours of sitting there ( and asking for the check) I decided and 30 minutes wasn't worth it. Newly renovated with a bright and inviting sun room and a posh seating area where live music is played in the evenings on (Thursday?), Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Tastefully decorated throughout and a pleasure to dine indoors. Warm and attentive hospitality. I enjoyed the savory flavors of their sauces in their spicy dishes (not too spicy at all, just tangy) and condiment for the scallion pancake appetizer. My daughter enjoyed her pad see ew and the eggs go well with the dish, though we usually omit it. I got the Basil Stir Fry with chicken, but I might want to try it with beef or shrimp next time. Ordered out a year or so ago and was just meh. Tried it again, and unfortunately was a mixed bag. The pork basil was quite good, good flavor, heat, and mix of meat and vegetables. I have eaten in-person here and had takeout several times. Not only is the food some of the freshest, most delicious Thai I have ever had, but the owner and waitstaff are friendly and super accommodating. The only downside is that the live music is a BIT too loud, but that also makes for a fun, lively atmosphere. I have tried a lot of different dishes and everything has been great! I don't live super close by, so every time I'm in the neighborhood, we eat or pick up from here. read more

The last time we were a party of six and he didnt get the cocktails for 1 and 1/2 hr - when asked he had the audacity to ask my friend if he still wanted his drink!! Perhaps is is a lack of culture or etiquette which will be hard for them to comprehend. Any other restaurant as expensive as this would have been at the least apologetic or would have waived the charges for the drinks. Dont think will go back. The boss there had some sob story to tell how 4 of his employees didnt show up for work - well than shut the tables down - do only as much as you can handle. read more
