However, the manager of the condo complex was aggressive and confrontational. Southern Vacation Rentals requested that we allow this manager into our unit to "change out bracelets" (we never used these to begin with). We had no problem with this as long as we were home when the manager came. They were not able to accommodate this and would not set a date or time with us. They insisted the manager be allowed to enter while we were gone. This became an issue for most of our vacation. I tried calling Southern Vacation Rentals and they never answered but insisted on only communicating with us via text. I requested 4 times for them to call me and they never did. I would NEVER rent anything that was managed by Southern Vacation Rentals again.

It looks like someone had attempted to repair with super glue in the past. THIS WAS HORRIBLE ! 3. ) Also the LAUNDRY DOOR WAS OFF TRACK AT THE BOTTOM AND ON THE TOP. We could never get the door back on. The door started leaning and we feared it would fall on our daughter the hold trip and it did fall when we was upstairs sleeping at night and it scared us to death. 4. ) Also, in the middle of our stay, an employee knocked on our door and told us our PARKING PASSES THAT THEY PROVIDED US WERE NO LONGER ANY GOOD and we would need to start using NEW PARKING PASSES. This did not make sense to us at all. 5. ) Also the STOVE EYES were not plugged in properly. We could not get the STOVE EYES to work at all for the first night of our stay. We then realized the stove eyes were HALF WAY PLUGGED IN. 6. ) The BEACH CHAIRS AND BEACH UMBRELLLA ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE STAY. You have to pay extra for the BEACH CHAIRS AND BEACH UNBRELLA. I have never stayed in a condo that does not provide at least TWO BEACH CHAIRS AND ONE BEACH UNBRELLA. 7. My kids SPILLED ORANGE JUICE IN THE BED and washed their hands on a towel after eating homemade CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES and PERDIDO REALTY EMPLOYEE ANNA PARKS said it was human feces. Wow ! This is laughable. Who would wipe poop with a towel when we have tissue. Both of our kids are potty trained and would never pee in the bed. This is all laughable. 8. ) Employee Anna Parks was very rude and made us feel that we are criminals. She would talk over me. She made us feel we were nobody and better pay up for the feces when there was never any feces. 9. ) The WIFI is horrible ! It moves very slow and didnt work at all most of the time. 10. ) 2 of the 3 TV's were out dated and was not smart Tv's. Could not connect to any of our apps on the Tv's.

I hadn't been to Gulf Shores in years, and my husband and our 2-year-old son had never been, so we were incredibly excited for this trip. One week before our vacation, I received a call saying our reservation had been canceled. I was completely confused because just two days earlier I had received a confirmation from the host and thought everything was set. At first, I honestly thought it was a scam. It wasn't. I was told the property had been sold, and we were no longer allowed to stay there. I was shocked that a vacation could be canceled just one week before check-in. The representative I spoke with was also pretty rude and showed very little empathy for the situation. She told me my only options were to contact Airbnb Support to transfer my funds to another property or receive a full refund in 3-5 business days. When I contacted Airbnb Support, they told me my reservation was still showing as confirmed--not canceled. That meant I had to call Luxury Coastal Vacations a second time. This time I got a different representative who couldn't help me and said the first person I spoke with would have to call me back. She never did. Trying to find another 3-bedroom beachfront condo with similar amenities, for the same dates and within our budget, was nearly impossible. There were only a couple of options, and neither met our expectations. Luxury Coastal Vacations offered us one alternative--a duplex about five minutes from the beach that appeared to be in a questionable area--and it was $1,000 more than our original booking, which we would have had to pay ourselves. After I declined, they simply said there was nothing else they could do and told me to contact Airbnb Support. Thankfully, Airbnb was able to transfer our funds, and we ended up booking a beachfront condo in our original vacation destination, Panama City Beach. However, it took two stressful days to get everything sorted out. It was very stressful and annoying. I understand properties can be sold, but couldn't believe they can just cancel our vacation 1 week before and the way this situation was handled was extremely disappointing. There was little effort to help us find a comparable replacement or make things right. Because of this experience, if I ever see Luxury Coastal Vacations listed as the host again, I will skip that property and keep looking. I would not recommend booking with them

Myself and my family were bitten by bedbugs at a Turnkey Vacation Rental property in South Lake Tahoe from January 17-20th and we are still waiting for a resolution to this issue. TVR's rental agreement states that they will contact us within 48h of conducting an assessment of the property. This tells me that they must either have not conducted an assessment of this property and that bed bugs are still at large, thus are in breach of California Civil Code Section 1941.1 OR they are liars and therefore in breach of our rental agreement. This issue is now more serious than the simple and unfortunate problem of their having been bed bugs at the property. Prospective tenants RECONSIDER your need to stay at a Turnkey Vacation Rental property. Not only will simple problems be ignored, but TVR seem to think they might be above the law and their contractual agreements... NOT WORTH WASTING YOUR TIME.

He said "that IS crust?" We didn't use the pools but they were nice looking. We did use the fitness center and we enjoyed it. The bed in the unit was SO comfortable, and we loved it that we are looking to buy the same mattress at our house . We slept like babies, as it's quiet and they have a fan and room darkening curtains. It is newly furnished and very nice. Each room has a RV with streaming options. I also noticed a pull out sofa but we didn't use it. The dining room has a kitchen table and a bar area. The kitchen has bare minimum so don't except to do some major meals there. But we did get a craving for a later snack after an early dinner and went to the local Publix and got some frozen pizza and salad and there was a pizza sheet and pizza cutter so it was sufficient for us. Plenty of plates and bowls and silverware and basic cookware. It was fine for us but if you're going to cook a lot of meals then bring stuff. There is a toaster and percolating coffee maker. There is automatic ice in the freezer. There is no dish soap so bring some. Bring extra TP and paper towels. They provide a couple dishwasher tabs. It is pretty basic like a nicer hotel room and having the extra half bath so if you're looking for a condo that has a lot of stuff then this isn't it. Like I said, it was perfect for us two and we really enjoyed it and would definitely rent here again in the future if it was available. The condo is in a great area. It's very quiet but if you want to go where there's more stuff then Orange Beach and Pensacola aren't very far. Also if you go eat, don't go to the Jellyfish Restaurant - it was terrible terrible. But definitely go to the Perdido Key Breakfast Club and get the Perdido Burrito. You'll thank me later. That was our favorite place. Also go to orange beach and go to Luna's and Cosmos because they are fire. Thank you for a lovely stay. The management company was FANTASTIC!! They kept us informed and instantly responded to questions we had. Also there were some activities discounted or free with them and we did the dolphin cruise with their discount.

After a few days my wife and I started not feeling well. As we started to look closer around the unit we noticed multiple locations of mold in the bathroom walls and living area ceiling. Rust in the dishwasher along with rotted/swelling cabinets and flooring not finished with gaps and cracks. Going into this units we understand imperfections and wear and tear. As far as mold and rust, totally unacceptable especially at the rates they charge for the facilities.

One odd thing is, you pull into your slip bow first due to low water on that end of the slip. Make sure you have long enough power cables and water hose as electric and water are center of the slip at the bow end of the boat. The people at the facility and customers were very nice and friendly. They do have a pump out at the dock, but we did not use it on our 3 days there. We would go back.
