I am late on posting this review, Chicory Coffee House has easily become my new favorite coffee spot. My colleagues and I tried it once for a work meet up and now it has turned into our regular go to. I had the Ball N Chain my first visit, and that alone made me a fan. I cannot remember exactly what everyone else ordered, but we were all on the same page that this place was a great find. The coffee is good, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it is the kind of place where you can work, meet up or just unwind for a bit. If you want good coffee and a spot with laid-back vibe, definitely check them out. The staff is wonderful too. I think their family owned. I'm not sure. read more

I've been meaning to stop by this spot for a while, and finally made it in. The service was warm and welcoming--everyone behind the counter had such pleasant attitudes and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there, which always makes a big difference. The place itself is on the smaller side. There are a few additional seats available in the back, but most were taken by people working, and we didn't want to intrude, so we sat in the front. We tried their monthly lattes: I ordered the Chicory Mellow and my partner got the Banana Cream Latte. Both came topped with marshmallow cream, which made me worry they'd be overly sweet, but they were actually nicely balanced. Mine had two shots of espresso, though it still leaned on the milder side. My partner enjoyed his latte enough to order a second drink: Red Eye--which was okay, but had a slightly burnt flavor. Overall, a friendly spot with creative drinks. I'd like to come back and try more of their menu; their tea selections seem solid. read more

This place is amazing! I came to meet a friend to discuss business and what I heard was so refreshing. Each customer was greeted with such kindness and familiarity that it was shocking. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food selection and coffee presentation was beautiful. At one point a regular must have been running late and when they walk through the door all of the employees were so excited that they were okay. It is definitely a place that feels like home. I also want to mention that all the employees are young people. Hard working young people who care about people and service is a rarity!! If I could give them 20 stars just for that I would! Very cute little coffee shop. It is small with just about four tables but there's a great little seating area in the back. I just popped in for a plain latte. The passed my latte test. I met a family coming out and there was one regular who came in while I was there. They did seem to do a steady business. There are some cute pottery items and natural/health items for sale. This is the most thoughtful coffee shop I have ever been in! They take care of their customers and after just a few trips will recognize you. It is a sweet, simple shop - in a good way! It doesn't feel like it was built for an aesthetic, it is natural and decorated with love and authenticity. I don't mind making the drive for this place! read more

Best espresso in OKC. This place has true organic coffee that's never bitter in any way but the real magic lays in the owners & staff. They are delightful and want to see you again & again. The baked goods are not only gluten free but DElICIOUS. You can tell many hours were spent in the kitchen figuring out their one of a kind recipes. They had gluten free brown sugar and cinnamon poptarts. My heart sang with Joy! The scones were delicious. The coffee was really good. I had an oat milk latte. They had other items that were sold out and I definitely want to come back and try them. I stopped in around 11:15. The poptart was my favorite! The service was amazing and they helped me with my selections. It's a super clean and relaxing atmosphere. It's not far from Baptist hospital so if you are close you should try it. read more

This coffee/tea house has a great local, small shop feel and their holiday decorations are so cozy! The Holiday Spiced Chicory reminds me of European Christmas markets, and the gluten-free baked goodies are so tasty, you'd never know they're super friendly to folks either allergies. Heard about it from somebody and drove all the way from WASHINGTON to try it, SO WORTH IT! You have to get the Banana Cream Latte. Everything Is gluten free, made daily every morning, and made from scratch (even the syrups). The shop feels welcoming and is perfect for just a quick stop or a break from the fast life. Before you finish paying, your drink will be almost done and ready for you enjoy. The place is new and family run. The daughter and wife and so lovely and welcoming. The service is fast and their recommendations are spot on. They recommendations me the lemon ice latte and OMG is was the best I've ever had! Don't get me started on their desserts. They have some of the best I've had. I had read good things about the delicious coffee and the GF pastries. My husband and I had a chance to give it a try. He had a caramel cappuccino and I had the Apple Pie Latte. I was so impressed with the flavors and the house made syrups. Unlike many shops, the flavor of the coffee and the syrups comes through deliciously without being overly sweet or barely there. The pastries were a solid A+. We had a strawberry scone and a cinnamon roll muffin and shared a cranberry orange loaf. Getting a perfect texture for GF baked goods is difficult and these were some of the best I've ever had. Moist, tender and full of flavor. We got an Earl Grey Shortbread Cookie and a Raspberry Loaf to go and they are amazing as well. Can't wait to sample their Fall lineup. It's a cute place and cozy, and the owners are so friendly and pleasant. My only regret is that they're a half hour away from us but I know I'll be back soon! read more
