Recently we purchased a dishwasher from Costco. Perez Enterprizes, came to install our dishwasher. Their communication was great. They showed up in the window time they stated. There was two men who showed up. They were respectful to our home, and property. They left the work area clean and threw out any garbage that there was. The dishwasher has been up and running for about 2 month now, with no issues... knock on wood. As far as cost, we did not have to pay anything since it was through Costco as a part of the delivery. read more

When the two highly trained Plumbers arrived, they greeted me outside my garage with a handshake and introduction. Pleasant. They described the work efforts planned and then commenced to turn to. I will add they both were relational, maintained eye contact when speaking with myself or my wife, and top professionals. "I don't wanna do this no more" as the installer finished wrapping up installing my dishwasher. An hour before you could find him cursing out his dispatcher over a part he misplaced in his own vehicle. He also told me I would have to pay more because he misplaced the part I specifically ordered. I will say this--the lady who helped me schedule the service has always been very nice and helpful. Everything else has been a complete and total nightmare. The installer was one of the worst people I have ever encountered in my life. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my own house. The entire process was violent. I was very close to calling the police at times... Costco, Home Depot, Lowe's, and a few other companies partner with this company to deliver and install dishwashers, washers, dryers, water heaters, etc. And if you ever find out the company you're buying from partners with this company, RUN. The other reviews are accurate. This isn't a list of disgruntled customers. It's a list of people who paid for quality work and were disappointed by the outcome. Absolutely AWFUL SERVICE. Do NOT get work done through Home Depot or Lowe's because chances are they'll set you up with this company and they are a nightmare to work with. A few weeks after they put back the toilet and sink that they removed in one of our bathrooms in preparation for flooring we were getting done, our downstairs neighbor says she has a leak in her ceiling. They sent a technician out to look at it and they say they can't see any visible leaks, so the owner, Roy, ends up calling and coming to check things out. At first I thought he would be helpful because he gave us his number to communicate with him but I quickly realized he's the type to ignore texts and calls until he finds it convenient to respond, meanwhile my neighbor's ceiling is leaking and we are trying to get this fixed asap. It was to the point where we thought he had just completely ghosted us and we would have to reach out to Home Depot. While he's at the house, Roy recommends we put a hole in the wall to check the pipes since he can't see any visible leaks. So after we get that done we spend days trying to get a hold of him to schedule someone back out to look at it. Eventually someone comes by again and they immediately see the issue: the flange is on upside down. Now instead of taking responsibility for the issue, Roy tries to say they never touched that part of the toilet and it couldn't possibly have been them. Mind you, I've lived here for 4 years now and this was never an issue before they did work in our house. So at this point we have a hole in the wall that could've totally been avoided if Roy had taken a more efficient look and figured that out the first time he was there and a ceiling stain that we have to pay someone to fix all because one of his workers messed up. I think it is highly unprofessional that he did not take accountability for the poor work someone he hired did. And after we figured out the issue he just said "hopefully all is good now" instead of apologizing and acknowledging the mistake. He also told me he's "sorry I feel that way" when I complained about his lack of professionalism and communication. The reviews for this company are overwhelmingly poor and there's a good reason for that. Clearly they've dealt with plenty of upset people like me but won't take the initiative to better their business. They're contracted by Home Depot to install gas stoves, they got the install done, but failed (miserably) to coordinate the city inspection of the gas connection; they told me they sent the request for inspection to the city, but the city had nothing on my inspection. I had a very disappointing experience with this company's customer service. From the start, it felt like no one actually wanted to help. I was transferred multiple times, had to repeat my issue over and over, and still didn't get a clear solution. The representatives sounded uninterested and rushed, like I was inconveniencing them just by calling. On top of that, the information I received was inconsistent depending on who I spoke to, which made the situation even more frustrating. Good customer service should make customers feel heard and valued -- this did the exact opposite. What should have been a simple issue turned into a stressful and time-consuming process. I'm sure I don't need to emphasize this further his star rating speaks volumes about the company but I'll share my experience anyway. I hired Perez Enterprises, a subcontractor for Home Depot, to install my hot water heater. The woman who answered the phone was very nice while setting up the appointment, but things went downhill from there. I wasn't home during the installation because I'm a firefighter and was on duty and wanted hot water for my family (I'm also a Class A contractor). I trusted Home Depot and their subcontractor; they pulled the necessary permits, and the installation was supposed to be inspected. Despite the reviews, I went ahead and booked the service. My wife informed me that the installation went fine, but it needed a few updates to meet code, which I understood. A few hours later, she called to say that she smelled gas. The gas company came out and found two leaks--one at the HVAC unit and another at the hot water tank. The HVAC is located next to the hot water tank in a small closet, and the HVAC unit had been installed three years ago without any issues. I suspect the installer may have jarred the fitting while putting in the new tank. The gas company fixed the leaks and moved on. My wife was understandably upset and called Perez Enterprises, prompting a call back from the owner (to me) He claimed his installer checked for leaks and insisted it wasn't his fault. I disagreed, and the conversation didn't improve from there. In summary, if you want cheap service, this company can provide that--but you'll likely end up with cheap results. read more

The Home Depot delivery guys were supposed to install and deliver, but they just delivered claiming that my plumbing had corroded pipes and they were not allowed to do anything. They called Perez Enterprizes to do the install. When their plumber arrived, they found no corrosion at all. The crew was very courteous and did even some extra work to clean up the location where the dishwasher was going to be installed into. Very thorough and neat work done. read more

I called 2 days later and the customer service people were very rude and interrupted constantly and treated me as if I was being difficult. Purchased a Toilet through Home Depot, Additionally, we purchased a professional installer, so I wouldn't have to deal with it. This is the company that was sent out to install it. Attempt 1. They installed the toilet. The Water tank was flapping around like it was ready to fall off. The toilet rocked forward and aft. I called them to come back out to fix it. I was told I had to call Home Depot, I don't know why, they are the ones that couldn't install the toilet correctly... Attempt 2. They installed metal mounting bolts, one of the plastic ones broke with all the rocking. My wife was at home, I was not. They told her the tile is uneven, that is why it is rocking. They never fixed the water tank. The old one did not rock. Okay, if it is rocking, put shims to prevent the rocking. A rocking toilet is going to eventually leak or cause other damage. No, they didn't do that, they left with it rocking the same as before. Attempt 3. There was no third attempt. I wouldn't let these guys work on anytjing of mine ever again. If you get this company as installers through home depot or another business, request a refund or a different company. I bought shims and installed them, the toilet no longer rocks. I tighten the water tank bolt on the right side to pull it down snug to the bowl. The water tank no longer rocks. A wasted $200 for a toilet install that I should have done. Perez Enterprises was contracted by Lowe's via Mega Plumbing for my dishwasher installation. The callers that scheduled my installation were very courteous although it took two or three calls to complete the scheduling. On delivery and installation day, the installer did a quick measurement and said that there was no way that the new dishwasher would fit even though it was to replace one by the same manufacturer. He measured the rear of the dishwasher which was clearly narrower than the opening in my cabinetry and, without further unwrapping the dishwasher, claimed that the front was "an inch wider than the rear." He removed an anchoring piece from our current dishwasher but never replaced it before driving off, accomplishing nothing. I went to my local Lowe's, measured the identical dishwasher on display and found that it would clearly fit in my cabinets. I called Lowe's Installation Services several times. Perez lied to them that they had tried to contact me to reschedule the installation. Next Lowe's told me that Perez Enterprises said that they would have a foreman schedule a visit but, again, I never heard from them. Soon after, I canceled the whole purchase. Perez thru home Depot. Was charged $229 to reinstall the sink faucet and drains after countertop replacement. The sink had been replaced with a under counter style. The sink drains were no where near they were on the original 25 YO sink. The plumber proceeded to hook up the faucet and THEN tell me it would likely be an additional $330 to hook up the sink. Told him to leave. My plumber hooked it up for $275. GO ELSEWHERE including Home Depot. read more

I'm not sure if it's Home Depot or these guys but they were supposed to install our gas range. No calls after delivery by HD. We contacted HD support and they supposedly contacted Perez, and gave our number. No calls--no return calls, even after numerous attempts. I ended up installing the range myself, since it was a replacement anyway. We bugged Home Depot and got refunded our 200.00 fee--and we still have our old Stove in the garage. These people are the WORST! I have complained to Lowe's (who I bought my dryer from), Mega Plumbing (who they fall under the service-umbrella of), and Lowe's management (to get them removed). I had a gas dryer install and holy hell, the first guy came out and was a real ass, then finally admitted he wasn't qualified to work on gas products, second guy did it, and then the entire business proceeded to lie constantly about Norfolk coming to inspect the work. I finally had to angrily call Mega (because Perez finally admitted scheduling wasn't their job, but all along have said that they have to schedule with the city, NOT the customer). Needed a microwave installed that Home Depot came out and said they couldnt because the vent needed cutting. Had Perez come out instead for an extra "fee". Got 4 calls from scheduling to verify date, ok no big deal. But the guy that showed up. Man.. he had a terrible disposition, attitude, accusing.. I was very cordial and laid back and asked a few simple questions and right off the bat he blew up and kept accusing me of being unsatisfied and uncomfortable with him and proceeded to call his foreman AND office saying he couldnt do the job. Rusty and his helper From Perez Enterprises arrived on time and quickly replaced my old water heater, updating pipes and vales as needed. Very friendly, professional and effective. When you discover a puddle of water at the base of your 17 year old water heater it is likely time for a new one. So....That is what we did. Well as Rusty was done and about to leave, we turned the water back on and another puddle quickly formed on the floor. Water was leaking out of the WALL! So we had to open up the drywall and discovered a tiny pinhole in the pipe in the wall that was actually the original source of the leaks. Rusty was quick to repair that leak and all is good now. Considering the age of the water heater, we needed a new one anyway. Spoke to a very nice lady named Catherine who represented Perez Enterprises the installers for Home Depot. Let her know that I needed an estimate to install a new gas water heater because I was closing on my new home and the seller was going to pay for it. The rep comes to my house, checks out my old heater and says the office will get the estimate to me. They send the quote to me and my real estate agent. Thought everything was okay, should have read it closer, missed the word "plus". After I close on the home I contacted Catherine to set up the install. Talked about what day to come out and what water heater did I want. I thought, "Oh, I get to pick which one, cool!" Then she informs me that the quote for $1467 was just for parts and labor! $1467 just for parts and labor? A quote for a replacement gas water heater that does not include the water heater? I was born during the day but not that day! Thought they had me over a barrel. I called my escrow attorney who had made out the check and had them cancel payment. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! We went through Home Depot to order a 50-gallon water heater and to have it installed by one of their "experts" at our specific zip code. (Our old water heater in our home was still functioning but was showing some corrosion and we decided to have it replaced.) My boyfriend is a new homeowner and we thought that we were in good hands with Home Depot and one of their trusted installers...well...the experience was not great. They were quick to get it scheduled and send someone out and that's when the problems started. It was installed on a Thursday and by Friday night, our circuit breaker had popped and we had no warm water for 3 days. The unit itself exhibited signs that it had caught on fire and had scorch marks at the top. It had been installed INCORRECTLY. When I was finally able to get someone to understand the urgency and send someone out there, I really thought our new unit would have been replaced. The original installer had connected the wiring incorrectly and the internal wiring had been scorched and had to be replaced by the company's foreman. I assumed that since I paid for a NEW unit (not a scorched one in barely a day's use) the unit would have been replaced...but after numerous calls to the office and given several excuses: the owner and foreman were both off, the owner had a death in the family, the foreman wouldn't have just left a damaged/faulty unit unless he felt it was in good working order...I finally informed them I would be getting with a fire marshal to check the unit...and they still didn't care and stated that they had a post-it note reminder on their computer to have the owner call me back...I'm still waiting for that call back from the owner more than 2 weeks later. I paid $1264.24 ($447.00 for install) Again...BUYER BEWARE and I will definitely be posting a video/pictures on social media sites to warn others. read more

My hot water heater ruptured on the 16th of March I went to Home Depot to inquire about getting a replacement. They took down my information and told me I would be contacted by one of their contractors that represent Home Depot. I received a call the following Monday from Perez Enterprizes and scheduled a replacement the next day. The charges were fair to include a city permit and permit application fee. After the technicians arrived they removed the defective one and installed a new one. The techs were amazing and did a great job. After the work was complete I had sign their paperwork and choose a day for the city inspector to look at their work. I chose 3/25/24, mind you I paid for all of this on 3/18/2024. Well I called the city today on the 25th of March to find out what time they were coming and they inform me there was no permit as the application for the permit wasn't paid by Perez Enterprizes. So I took a day off of work today unpaid to be here for the inspector to find out they are not coming. So I called Perez Enterprizes and a person named Rick answered and when I informed him about the issue he says he is being told we just did the work Friday and there wasn't enough time to get the permit. None of what he said is true, I called on a Monday and the water heater was done on a Tuesday. He then said he could promise that I will be on the schedule for tomorrow, which I responded so I have to take another day off work unpaid, to which he says what would you like me to do and I said well you haven't even taken any responsibility for my time being wasted and you haven't even offered an apology of any kind to which he responds "I am Sorry". They took about 10 minutes to discuss everything that they were doing before starting and then another 10 minutes or longer at the end to explain how everything went and what to expect next. I purchased a toilet from Home Depot and Perez Enterprises were the installers. Installer was very rude about a toilet install that needed the cut off valve replaced after 20-25 years old.Installer said that it is not leaking so we don't change them out. Replacing a brand new toilet and leaving rusty valve on the toilet is just bad installers. My elderly mother purchased a dishwasher from Lowe's. 10 days later a field tech from Perez showed up to install it but told her he couldn't because there was no shut-off valve on the water line. There IS a shut-off valve in the cabinet right next to the dishwasher. Perez scheduled an appointment 2 weeks later to "evaluate" the situation. The tech never showed up. Another Lowe's install gone WRONG. First it took almost a month to get an install date. Second the guy was 1.5 late for a dishwasher install (showed up at 7:30PM for a 2-6pm window). Finally took all of 2 minutes to say NOPE, can't do it and would not leave the dishwasher we paid for! Wanted to have us start the bid process with his company after we already paid Lowe's install price. Absolutely, hands down, the worst and most unprofessional installation attempt I have experienced. I've never dealt with anyone so disrespectful anywhere, let alone in my own home. The tech who came out was ANGRY with me because I wouldn't immediately go find a saw and cut out a section of my hardwood floor. He kept pressuring me to do it and kept changing what he was saying about whether he was allowed to do it and how he would have to charge me, but that he actually couldn't because he wasn't allowed, but that he wouldn't have to charge that much, etc. When my husband came in, he told him a whole different store and he changed his "years of experience THREE times. "I think I know what needs to be done, I've been doing this almost 20 years." "I don't know why you won't just do this. I'm so good at what I do, I've been doing it 25 years." Etc. He also kept talking about how dumb everyone in the office was and how it was pointless to even have them there to answer phones because they don't tell customers to clean out everything from under the kitchen sink. When they rescheduled their head installer for the next day, my husband had to take a day off only to sit around all day for no one to show up. When we called to see what happened, they told us the installation was cancelled 2 weeks ago.... Yet they came the day before? This company should be shut down. Used as Home Depot contractor for flooring twice. Summer 2020, pedestal sink reconnected incorrectly, not even bolted to the wall. Called back out to fix. Current bathroom floor installed, toilet was leaking in one bathroom after reconnecting, had to return to lowes for tank replacement and installed myself. Vanities 2/3 drains were leaking and had to repair myself instead of calling them back out. Rework in both cases where they were used. You get what you pay for. On a Wednesday I contacted Home Depot for a water heater replacement and was referred to their local installer, Perez Enterprizes. I was contacted and provided the requested information during the phone consultation, including taking measurements of the old unit and the access door in the 2nd floor dormer of one of the bedrooms. I offered to provide pictures but was declined. The specialist suggested some new units that were available at a Home Depot store in town that could be purchased in order to save on pickup/delivery charges. After the consultation, I purchased one of the recommended units and brought it to my home. I called to confirm the scheduling of the installation for the next day and when asked I provided the SKU number for the new unit. We went over the fees and charges and I then paid for the agreed upon total charges for the services and installation; I was not provided a receipt. I arranged to take off from work to be home during the scheduled installation window and made sure routes were clear for access and free from obstruction. On Thursday, the technicians arrived at 12:52pm, quickly assessed the old unit and went back out to their truck at 12:57pm without saying anything to me. I assumed they were getting their tools/supplies but they came back in at 1:05pm advising that the installation would have to be rescheduled, there would be significant additional charges as the dormer was considered an attic space, parts were required for the unit I purchased, and that someone from the office would be calling me. They promptly left at 1:08pm. After waiting to be contacted, I called at 2:30pm, 4pm, and 5pm and each time was assured that a specialist would be calling me before closing at 6pm. I again called at 5:45pm and was told that someone would call me first thing the following morning. I asked if the installation would occur on Friday but they could not give me an answer or confirm anything. Nearly 9am on Friday morning, someone called and said the added charges would be about an additional $800 on top of what I had already paid in full and that the install would have to wait until Monday. Apparently, there were some missteps during the consultation that were not captured correctly by the specialist. I was forthcoming in providing all the information requested, even offered to send pictures, but now I'm being made to feel like I was being deceptive. I could not believe that no fault on my end would result in adding $800, delay the installation, and that the customer is expected to absorb all the losses. I was not looking for anything free here, but I have already lost work time, paid up front, and transported a new unit. This could have been avoided if discussed during the consult. To increase the insult, I will have to take more time off from work, pay more money, and have the family endure more days without hot water. I called Home Depot and cancelled everything and requested refunds. I expected better and a more reasonable experience. read more

The WORST experience I have ever had with installers. The guy (Wyatt) was rude from the start, angry at his own company for not providing the materials he needed, and refused to install my gas range. I am disabled in a wheelchair. I am sitting here with two stoves in my kitchen, blocking access to the sink and the silverware. No communication whatsoever as to what the company is going to do. I cannot believe COSTCO allows them to install appliances. If I could give them a -0-, I would. The one item that was installed, he left the trash on the kitchen floor, left the instruction manual in the SINK, and did not give me a copy of anything I signed.
