Kyle came out the same day we called, which was greatly appreciated. I found Kyle to be personable and very social, he likes to converse and happily explains what he's doing and why. He used a black light to investigate our odor issue and to our horror we found the last owners evidently just let their dog just pee on various walls. So disgusting, I can only imagine the previous carpet's shape. We discussed what we could afford within our budget and Kyle went to work pretreating w/spray, brush scrubbing and then hit it with his truck based professional equipment. Kyle assured us he stands by his work for included call-backs in the event any urine spots persist in their odor, which is comforting and I am inclined to take him at his word. Crystal Heating and Cooling installed my furnace when my house was built and they NEVER registered…read moreit. Without me knowing that, they put me under their VIP (joke) maintenance agreement which was almost $300 a year and when I really needed it, they ghosted me. I called when my furnace would not kick on during a cold spell in the fall and wanted my maintenance done for the upcoming winter. The office girl read the notes from the past spring stating that the service guy had to "spin the inducer" to get the furnace to kick on. They never got a hold of me for replacement or let me know what was going on. Come fall, of course the furnace would not work and I had to call three times to try and get something done about it. They kept telling me they ordered an inducer and it would be on the next day's truck. I even had the office girl giggling out loud while I was trying to talk to her. So very rude. I never hear back. I finally called another company and found out not only was the inducer broke, but there was a hole in the head exchanger, which could have been endangering my life this entire winter season due to a gas leak. The following is a honest review of Aireserv Eureka a company that has stumbled in their service…read morenearly from the moment we bought an Amana HVAC unit from them in August of 2024. The original much more critical 1 star review is below and it is all still very true but they have as of mid August 2025 rectified some of their errors by honoring repairs and warranties that Amana refuses to honor. Does that completely erase all the errors that have been made along the road? Honestly no they do not, but I appreciate that they are currently doing their best to repair what was wrong. They very well might be a very good company but my wife and I's recent experience has been rocky at best. Update to a 3 -3.5 star rating. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1 STAR REVIEW. : Based off of positive reviews on Yelp and Google my wife and I chose to buy a new HVAC unit from Aireserv Eureka in August of 2024. In no less than 3 MONTHS our unit broke down, something was literally smoking, due to a failure to install the unit properly. Then in March of 2025 we discovered that they installed a unit that for natural gas, which we do not have, instead of propane WHICH THEY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN SINCE THE PIPES ARE APPARENTLY VERY DIFFERENT. So yet another overhaul was made. Then in June of 2025 we started to notice the coldest we could get the house was 75 degrees. So we called for another checkup and they "supposedly" fixed it, saying it had been improperly calibrated during installation. But one month later, in July, our unit broke down AGAIN. This time completely, leaving our house in the 90s. Now as I right this in August of 2025 THE HOTTEST PART OF THE YEAR they have yet to fix my unit. Week after week, yes you have read that correctly, it has been weeks since we called them to fix our unit, we have had to call them over 20 times. So far we are at week 3 and moving soon to 4. Airserve Eureka's horrible service has so far consistented of misdiagnosis, instillation of wrong parts, incorrect calibration of the unit, and long waits (4+ days) while a part ships. They have given an excuse for everything, always blaming someone else (Amana). According to them, none of this is their fault. They are playing the victim of corporate manufacturing. But, why would you want to reach out to a company who has no control over the services they offer? We then said, since there are so many issues with my unit from the start and I am still under warranty, why don't they just install a new unit. So far they have refused to honor the warranty because Amana won't. I'm not writing this bad review out of spite but as a civic duty to report incompetence in what is falsely sold as good. I hope those of you reading this heed my warning about Airserve Eureka. They are just plain terrible. UPDATE: In mid late August 2025. Aireserv Eureka decided to ignore Amana's horrible lack of honoring our warranty and installed a new RUUD unit. Let's hope this goes better than this last year's trials. I'd definitely not recommend Amana for a future HVAC regardless of the positive reviews they have online. The technician said there was no reason for cutting 2 openings in the unit. We were very upset. Also, we had to replace several of the registers due to paint being scratched off by the Ductz employee. We also had to touch up the ceiling where black marks were made by the serviceman. Peters referred this company plus they had good reviews. So much for that. Per Peter's technician's request I did let them know not to refer Ductz any longer. Hopefully they listenened.
