When we initially purchased our home back in 2017 we hired Nabil to replace all of the flooring in our home. We only had a one week window from the day we closed until our movers were scheduled to arrive because our short term lease was up, which was really stressful. We needed over 3k sq foot of flooring installed and Nabil and his team did an amazing job. Not only were they able to get all the flooring installed but also all of the last minute requests that I came up with, such as, painting the entire interior of the house, installing new electrical outlets, hanging TVs etc. Nabil was very patient with me and was fair on pricing. After such a great experience we decided to hire Nabil again to remodel our master bathroom and build me a one of a kind detached home office. Once again he and his team exceeded my expectations and accommodated all of my changes and additions along the way. By the end, he completely renovated the entire master suite and he even built a gorgeous deck off the side of my office. Due to Covid related impacts to the global supply chain we encountered many challenges when it came to sourcing materials. Nabil and Shannon were there to help us navigate, pivot and find alternatives at every obstacle. Were there snags and unexpected delays along the way? Sure, but they were due to the manufacturing/sourcing delays and without Nabil's help it would have been far worse. Some of the delays actually ended up being a blessing in disguise because Nabil helped us find alternative products that we ended up loving even more than our original choices! I have worked with many contractors throughout my life and when you find someone that you can trust to do things right, with high quality workmanship and pride in what they do, it's worth every penny. We've had the best experience with perfect choice construction and Nabil. He initially did our floors in august 2021 while we were away for our wedding and he recently did our dream master bath in April 2022. Nabil did an amazing job with both and they were completed in a timely manner. I'm so happy with the experience and the outcome of both! I had worked with Nabil Fares and his team before; I guess when they were new to town?? I have recommended Nabil to many friends and family and decided to hire his team again for my flipping project. Perfect Choice Construction (Nabil Fares) failed me miserably and I will NEVER again use his company. 1. The project took way longer than he had promised, 2. The project cost so much that I couldn't sell the house and had to rent it; I was overcharged for flooring, windows, cabinetry, etc. 3. He did not finish the job thoroughly and kept promising that he would come back. 4. I foolishly trusted Nabil that he had solved all the issues in the house and thus paid him in full. The problems persisted, however, and he NEVER showed up to fix them. He also stopped or returned my phone calls. Eventually, I had to hire another handman to clean up his mess. We hired Perfect Choice to completely remodel our kitchen and master bathroom before we moved into our new home in Scripps Ranch. Nabil made us feel comfortable about this huge project, our first large renovation of a home, and delivered on every promise. He makes excellent recommendations if you want them and does great work. He transformed our 1996 original kitchen that was too small for the house into a beautiful modern kitchen that adds value and that we have been enjoying every day. We wanted to change our downstairs flooring (living room, kitchen and dining) from carpet/tiles to hard wood. But we have a dog (Vizsla breed) and the more research we did, natural stone seemed like a better fit. When Nabil came home to give us a quote, he brought samples of a couple of designs for Versaille pattern (Noce tumbled natural stone) and left the one we liked for us to get used to. That was a very good thing he did, because when you go to a store and take a look at many different types of flooring and designs, its very confusing and hard to imagine how it would look in your house. Eventually after weeks of going back and forth, my wife and I decided to go with it. We signed the contract and Nabil and his team started work on time. They moved all the furniture, they nicely covered all the cabinets and everything in the kitchen all the way up the stairs so that no dust gets into other parts of the house. They were always on time (which is very unusual for contractors) and finished the job AHEAD of time! It has been three months since we got the work done and no problem in the work they did, we never had to call him back to fix anything... I am very happy with the work done on my home by Perfect Choice Construction. They did a fairly extensive remodel, including new bathtub and shower, bathroom tile, toilets, flooring throughout the home, new baseboards, electrical upgrades, wall repair and texturing, and paint. Together with many other smaller detail items that really helped pull the project together. Their team did an excellent job of communicating with me, with each other, and the work crews. They are the most coordinated construction company I've ever had the pleasure to work with. And their designer was very helpful in the process of selecting finishes and colors. She listened to what I cared about and what I wanted, and ushered me through those decisions. She offered suggestions to help refine the choices and make the design more perfect. She is a skilled designer, and the place ended up looking fantastic. And it doesn't just look good, but it works well too. We have had no trouble with any of the systems that Perfect Choice worked on. Here is what really separates them from the others, though: At a few points in the project, some details weren't done quite as I had intended initially. That happens and I expect it on a complicated project like this. But what makes them special is their response, which was always something like this: "OK, we will do it that way". I needed to find tile (only 80sqf) that matched our home, because we're doing an addition and needed to tie in. I went down Miramar rd stopping at ALL the tile/ flooring stores. I was shocked by the service except from Metro. Metro was very helpful, but they didn't carry a matching tile brand. Anyhow, the other tile stores were pretty rude: ignore you standing there, leaving you standing there for 15+ min, tell you you can't find one so give up and buy this other thing, or flat out snappy (get lost we don't care). I found a tile online that matched ours (after samples) and after calling around, Perfect Choice was a dealer. Most importantly, they were extremely friendly, helpful, got it ordered for me ASAP, at a reusable price, and made the purchase & pick up super easy (right price). They didn't care that it was a small purchase and gave me a level of customer service as if I was a large client. Service matters. I appreciate it.
