Last hear I broke a tooth while visiting family and was recommended to Dr. Meaney from a close friend. I called and explained that I was from out of town and the squeezed me in to their already busy schedule. The office personnel and the hygienist were incredibly efficient and friendly. My dentist in Myrtle Beach said my tooth needed to be pulled but Dr Meany printed me a crown and popped it right in. At that moment I said "This is my new dentist!" Next is even more incredible... I scheduled a cleaning appointment for March so that J could visit my aging mother for her birthday and get the cleaning done at the same time. They did the cleaning but the capped tooth that I had was broken on one side... He removed it, fixed it by grinding it down and doing another full crown and while I waited he prepared the other side of my mouth for a dental implant which I never thought I would be able to get done. I have to return in June to get the actual tooth implant inserted. I'm beyond ecstatic about this. Most dentists would have set me for at least another appointment. He killed two birds with one stone and did what another dentist told me couldn't be done! I highly recommend Dr. Meany to care for you and your family's dental healthcare!

They are impeccably clean and have great COVID precautions (wash your hands upon arrival, rinsing with hydrogen peroxide). The staff is professional, kind, and thoughtful. They assuage your nerves and have a very spa vibe about the place. Our previous kids' dentist office was a "kids dentist" but this one doesn't have a TV or kid-friendly images on the walls. That almost dissuaded me from taking my kids here but the dental hygienist was amazing with both of my kids!!! She explained everything in fun, kid-friendly terms, encouraged them to ask questions, and let my 3 year old sit on my lap for the whole procedure. For my 6 year old, I was in the room the entire time except for X-rays. They are really a fabulous practice with great people and services available!

I had a wonderful experience at this office. After discussing all of my options, my doctor and I…read moredecided that I needed a root canal on one of my bottom molars, on the right hand side. I was extremely anxious about the procedure, not just in terms cost and time, but also in terms of the pain. This is a multi-specialty practice, so I appreciated that I did not need to travel to any other location to get my root canal done. I was scheduled with the Endodontist, and he made me feel very comfortable and eased all of my tensions. The procedure was truly painless! When it came to the crown for this tooth, the front desk staff was very understanding and patient with me, and made the payment plan process very easy for me to understand. I have recommended many of my friends and family to this practice, and they have all had very positive experiences!

When they are called out on it they deny and deflect everything, saying they don't know why these things were suggested in THEIR office. Not worth the waste of time and aggravation when there are plenty of great dental practices out there.

First of all, when you have, an appointment does not bother coming on time because you will be waiting at least 20mns before they take you. If you are a family, they will say they take you all at the same time, but it will never happen, and nobody will apologize for that. Dr Afolabi on one of my appointments told me that she told me to come back for a filing. BIG LIE as she never did tell me that, she made me book an appointment that day. On the day my kids were having their cleaning done, they told me that my 2 kids were due for a sealant. When they called me to confirm the appointments, they said all 3 were now due for a sealant. On the day they were setting up the appointment I asked for the copayment amount, they said $0. On the day of the appointment before the procedure I asked again, they said $0. A week after the appointment, they sent me a bill of $132 for each kid. It "happened" that I had an appointment myself for my second filling (for which I I was supposed to pay $42) 2 days after i received the kids bill. I called the office to inquire about the bill and the secretary told me she doesn't know what happened. They were going to talked to me about it on the day of my appointment. I came for my appointment and to my surprise they said by balance is now $179 that includes the balance for my kids and myself. So now what was supposed to be $132 *2+$42 is now just $179. I said OK, you guys lied to me but today i will only pay for myself and that I pay for the kids later. They said nope. They won't see me until I pay for the kids. And if I decide not to do my filling that day, they will add a $50 cancellation fee on my account even though I was there, ready to do my filling and to pay for what was due for myself. These people are just there for their pockets. They do not care about their patients. BE AWARE!!!!!!!!!! At addition to that Dr Afolabi will take her sweet time talking to other patients while you are lying there waiting with more than 30mns after your scheduled time. DO NOT TRUST their work ethic, DO NOT TRUST their dental knowledge. I never have any dental issues until she said I needed a filling. Now that tooth is sensitive to any water temperature.
