My husband and I hired Perfect Floor to do our flooring in a high-rise in Chicago! They were perfect. They worked with the door staff and abided by all the condominium association rules. Ilie Succu was just amazing, he always answered his phone, always listened to our concerns and always always was extremely courteous. One time I had sent him a text message at 1AM thinking he would get back to me the next day, he replied immediately !!! He and his crew (Daniel and Gabriel) are extremely professional, soft spoken, patient and great! Our floors look stunning. It was a hard job where they had to take out glue-down flooring but Ilie came through. They were also the most competitively priced. I had gotten quite a few quotes but I felt the most comfortable doing business with Ilie. I hired perfect floor Chicago to refinish the hardwood floors in my newly purchased condo in Wicker park.The hardwood floor had plenty of scratches and damage from the previous owner pets and also required a color change in one of the bedroom floor. Ilie Suciu was very helpful in accommodating my tight schedule to start and finish the work. Ilie's team repaired and refinished our very worn down floors and made them look exactly how we wanted them! I found Perfect Floor Chicago on Yelp to request a quote, and Ilie always responded quickly and professionally. He even came out to our place on three different occasions to take a look at areas we were concerned about as we formulated our plans for the flooring before we had signed or paid anything. Our floors were damaged by previous owners and seriously discolored by the radiators, but they took care of everything. We even had a bedroom with Maple instead of Red Oak like in the rest of the apartment but Ilie was still able to stain it and make it look just like the rest of the stained Red Oak! The bedroom also needed the subfloor repaired and new wood in a third of the room, but we can hardly tell the difference between the repairs and different species of wood. We just had Perfect Floor Chicago sand and re-finish all the original oak floors and stairs in our new house. I don't have before pics, but picture some completely destroyed and worn floors. We also wanted laminate installed in one of our bedrooms where we had no hardwood under the tile. The price was so reasonable for the rest of the work that we were able to afford a brand new oak floor in this room. You can believe the reviews. We couldn't be happier with the final product. Ilie worked so hard on our floors and they turned out beautifully! We just bought a house and were told there were hardwoods under the carpets- we pulled up a few corners and things looked fine so we hired Ilie to sand everything down and apply varnish. Well, as you can see from the pictures, the floors were unbelievably bad. Horrible. Stained, warped, gouged, missing in some places (random plywood instead of hardwoods!) Because of the awful condition of the floors we ended up needing to stain everything, which meant we spent a lot more than we initially planned (not Ilie's fault), but they are absolutely stunning. Before: My floor were dull, they had many scratches from a large pet, there was water damage, discoloration, and separating. He worked tirelessly and tenaciously over an extremely long day to remove literally 100 years of caked on finishes, water spots, warps, chemical stains and god-knows-what-else to restore these floors to their original glory. His quote was very reasonable, he seemed very knowledgeable and references checked out, so we hired PFC for the work. PFC performed the following for us: 1) Sanded and stained our railings, posts and hand rails -- about 45 linear feet, and 2) Replaced our carpeted stairs with oak hardwood stained to match. The PFC crew showed up on time and finished on time and cleaned up perfectly. The finished stairs look beautiful and really improve the overall look of our home. Hired Perfect Floor for refinishing the hardwood floor for the entire condo. I'd have to imagine the folks working under Ilie are about some of the most professional and talented people doing this work.
