I had two moves in the last week. Perfect Moving was recommended for the first move last week when I was changing storage units. They gave me a reasonable quote, the team showed up at the appointed time and expertly and efficiently loaded and unloaded the truck. The movers were friendly and patient. Today I had a sofa delivered to my apartmen. Dealing with the management setting up the move was seem less and the quote was reasonable. I requested the two guys who moved me before. The manager made sure they were available. So glad they were. Goran and his team were efficient, friendly, pleasant, charming and on time! So glad I discovered Perfect Moving. Today I moved without the help of SML....Though we paid and hired 3 movers they were a NO SHOW!!!! Like moving isnt stressful enough, today my worst nightmare came true. Our reservation window was from 9-10 am for movers to show. At 9:59 am I called, spoke to Wendy. She advised movers were on their way and GPS says they "should be there by 11 am". At 10:45 am a manager called us to inform us the driver got into an accident and would not be coming. Our answer from them was, oh maybe someone could be there from 3-5 (another empty promise window). Last words from SML "Good Luck on your Move"...wow!!!! I was emptying my parents' home for sale with no prior experience or help from family. After talking to six movers, I chose Perfect Movers because Eddie, the owner, gave me lots of practical advice and a reasonable quote for the move. He told me how to avoid scammers, what items weren't worth storing and the best ways to transport furniture to its final destination. On moving day, I asked Eddie if his crew could also throw out alot of heavy, old furniture that I couldn't carry. So there was furniture to store, toss or keep. The crew stepped up and followed directions without a hitch. The owner even took the glass (and there was a lot of it) in another vehicle to ensure it's safety. As we were leaving, I mentioned to Eddie that my next project was to get rid of a heavy wrought iron railing that my brother left behind. It was rejected by sanitation. I was shocked and so happy when Eddie volunteered to get rid of it the next day for a nominal fee. I was dancing in the street. Definitely picked the right moving company. read more

We were moving out of our apartment into the house and the movers took multiple smoke breaks and left a very expensive piece of furniture claiming they were unable to get it out of the apartment despite it having been moved into the apartment together. Then overcharged me for the job despite leaving something behind. They don't move lamps which they also forgot to mention. Charged more because we didn't have a driveway. I used Perfect Movers on January 26th 2018. I emailed them first using Yelp and they got back to me within ten minutes, we set a date to meet and go over the move, get an estimate and ask some questions about packing. Eddie who owns the company showed up on time, and could see I was having trouble getting all the packing done in time. He was kind enough to offer me an employee for a very low price an hr, and left it up to me if I would need her for 1or 2 days, for 1hr or 4. I ended up getting it done, but it was a relief knowing if I felt I couldn't there was someone who could come and help. On the day of the move they were right on time. I had to stay in one room the entire time they were moving my entire place out and pack in the truck, due to a scaredy-cat I had to stay with. I had to leave it up to them to do everything with out my help or directions, I could not over see anything. It wasn't long when I heard the knock letting me know they were done and ready to go to the place I was renting for a few months where I was moving to and everything was going. Oh by the way at my townhouse where I was moving out, they had to move 2 bedrooms sets, a huge king size bed, 2 large Tv's, kitchen furniture, coffee tables, other tables, chairs, and many n I mean many 18, 32, n 64 size gallon bins, It either had to go down a flight of stairs and the other half of the stuff had to go up a flight of stairs to get out and put on the moving truck. We then arrived at the same time to the place I was renting, in which They had to Bring everything Up another set of stairs. So that makes in total 3 flights of staircases in one move. The guys were nice, kind, smiled and asked which rooms I wanted things to go. Two of the guys even helped me set up the right place for the king size bed with the logic that the night stand will have to fit and depending on which side I sleep on helped me set it up perfectly. If I changed my mind about a piece going some where else, they were happy to change it for me. So now the moment of truth, I have the estimate, which includes moving everything, the hours it takes, and the amount of guys I wanted to do everything, THEY CAME IN RIGHT ON THE NUMBER THEY ESTIMATED ME, not a dollar more. There were no hiccups n not one thing broken. Just when you think How Could It Get Better Than That. On Monday I went back to my townhouse cause I had left some items out of the move on purpose to do to a final clean up before the walk through at the end of the week. I was not sure if I wanted some of the items, Like a used cat tree furniture, old stereo's, speakers, picture frames, exercise equipment, a very old vacuum, cleaning products n other odd n end pieces. Maybe I was going to throw them out + buy a new ones, or sell some or leave some for the new owner. I suddenly got Very Overwhelmed and it seemed like a lot more than I thought. When I called Perfect Movers to Thank them for Firday's Wonderful Perfect Move. They could hear something was wrong. After explaining what I did, they said they could be there tomorrow at lunch time, carry everything out and for a small fee take the items to the dump. This allowed me to use the items to clean up the place that day, keep a few things and the rest was all gone the next day thanks to my hero at Perfect Movers. I can't tell you the Stress they alleviated for me, cause I had certainly made the wrong decision by leaving so many items behind, and didnt know what to do. Great Guys, Great Move, Perfect Estimate, Trust worthy, on Time + budget, and even came back around to help me after the main move. You know I will be using them in 3 Months when I have to move again to hopefully my new home.. I would never think of using anyone else and You shouldn't either if you are Moving. I often find I only do reviews when I am unhappy about an experience. However, we had such a great experience that I felt compelled to right a review (its well deserved!) We recently moved from mid Westchester to upper Westchester. Moving is grueling, to say the least. But we had a great experience with Perfect Movers. The day of the move ran smoothly. We found the company to be professional, courteous and really fast! They had our whole house packed into the truck and unpacked into our new home MUCH faster than I expected. Our antique furniture was intact and well cared for (I was really nervous about them moving these pieces!) but there wasn't as much as a scratch. We were really happy and they made the day a pleasant and smooth one. After the job was done, the final price was very close to the estimate they had given us. And to be honest, their estimate was one of the best I got (especially after I got a TON of extremely cheap estimates that I knew were NOT realistic and would be way off after the move was done). I called Perfect Movers and was very happy they could move my Player Piano and treadmill on the same day. I explained the house and terrain were would be extremely difficult and he seemed not to believe me that it would be hard. When they got to the first house it became clear he did not know how to move a player Piano...and he kept saying he has moved a lot of Pianos. Finally, he gave up and moved only the treadmill. And when I got the bill he added $75 for his time and effort with the piano!! I gave his awesome guys who tried a small tip because I was guessing they wouldn't see any of the extra charge money. read more

I previously used them for a treadmill and they seemed like really good guys. When it came time to move, I bid them out and 3 others. They were competitive with the others and some of the other moving companies were significantly higher, 2 were fairly competitive. I was quoted $1670 "Probable Estimate". When all was said and done, on the day of the move, it was a little wet and the ice melted away with me scrapping and putting down Prestone Heat so the movers had good footing. It took from 9AM - 830PM and we were pretty well packed with the exception of the big stuff. 3 out of the 4 guys were good movers, the 4th was a slacker. The head guy doesn't really move anything. I thought they were nice and honest going into it and when the final bill came it was "$2932". I said, "are you kidding me?" That is nearly 2x what you quoted me. He said, "well, the weather conditions slowed my guys down." I told him I am not responsible for the weather and have no control over it. Then he attempted to itemize the charges and I showed him his "packing charge" says "see below" where you use that to move to back to the top for the TOTAL Cost. The final price was $2600 plus tipping the 4 movers. I am really ticked off and they left several items behind that were supposed to be included and said my wife "didn't want those packed". She in fact said, "she did want those packed". Those items being some paintings and lamps. As much as I thought this company was the real deal and honest, I feel ripped off and cannot recommend them. On a short notice (on Wednesday) they gave me a quote for a move on Monday. The quote was competitive & they showed up on time the day of the move. They did exactly what they told me they will do. They showed up at 10am, moved every thing from the appartment on the east side in NYC, they put the furniture & TV in blankets & deassembled the bed. They were done by noon & drove to the west side. They brought all the furniture & boxes to the new appartment (nothing broke or lost) they assembled the bed & took all the empty boxes with them, the move was all done before 4pm. They charged me exactly what they quoted me. I highly recommend them, they are one of the best moving companies I have used. read more

My husband and I move a lot. We had the luck of calling perfect movers, just this past winter. we moved out of our condo and back into our house. A move that we obviously done as we moved out of our house for construction into a condo that we rented. Here we are, seven months later, moving back into our beloved house in the winter. Perfect movers came out, did the job for us. Surprisingly we saved approximately 25% for the reverse move. At this point, we knew we overpaid the first time. But we will never overpay again because we found Perfect Movers to be the most affordable and obviously less than the move that we have done prior. so, FIVE stars to Eddie and his crew, we will use them again, and we hope you do as well! read more
