Was in the area as my boyfriend gets his hair cut at a barber on the street so I stopped in for a gel pedicure. Everything about this place was mediocre. She barely scrubbed my feet, smudged both of my big toes and then set the smudges with the UV lamp instead of redoing them, did not massage AT ALL (just rubbed oil on my legs), and I can't remember her using any kind of scrub. They also do not line the basin of the foot soaking well with plastic and instead wear gloves. (Fine for them but not the customer!) This was a $60 pedicure and was not worth it at all. This was a $30 job but she charged me $20 for the gel that she smudged! I spent about 30 minutes in the chair and that was it. If you want a very quick and overly basic pedicure this may be okay but don't get gel. read more

First time in this establishment went in because I'm in out of town person and I had gel on my toe that needed to be replaced and I was willing to sit there and wait and also pay and the employee of the establishment or the owner says to me what you need and I told her that I needed to have my jewelry done and she said did you get it done here and I said no and she said well we no do for you plus we don't have time today be aware of this place this place is a very very unprofessional they only want to take clients that are going to be repeat clients they don't want to take people that are walking off the street that are actually customers so they're picking and choosing who they want so basically they're being racist so I would be aware of this place and go somewhere else that you're welcome. read more

Worst mani/pedi I've ever had. The my heels are still rough, my massage was all of 2 minutes on my shin, she never massaged my foot, the hang nail on my toe when I walked in was still there when I left. And that's only my feet. I'm also pregnant so I'm sure most of you ladies know how much it means to have a good pedicure when you're pregnant. I still have dead skin around my fingers and when she painted them, she had no issue getting paint all over my fingers and then not fully wiping it off. My nails aren't even shaped. Second time coming here. The first time they did a good job on my pedicure but the second time around I left with a bad taste in my mouth. I was assured that I was going to be helped "right now" but the gentleman decided to help someone else while I waited at the station they had me at for a mani. I got up and walked out, calmly. I called first to check on pricing and availability. The person who answer was truly sweet and answered all my concerns. The shop was nothing fancy yet very clean. I was welcomed and greeted. Since moving to fallbrook I've tried a few places and perfect nails is honestly the only place that gives me what I want every single time! Everyone working there is so nice all the time! What I love about perfect nails is everyone is always so eager to help you and get you exactly what you want and they're happy to do so. I've been snickered at in the past at other nail salons when I show them a picture of a nail color to ask if they have it or something similar however at perfect nails Vee abs Jimmy will sit there with me for 5 mins trying to find the color and they are always so kind about it! Throughout the whole process they make sure you like the length, shape, color, and everything in between! It's always clean and during covid they are extra clean and cautious which is very important! I paid $50 for a new set and $45 for a fill. It could be considered pricey in comparison to other nail salons but I never had a nail break, never had my polish chipped and there is always close to no lifting and most times no lifting in between my fills. You most definitely get what you pay for and I will always do so happily! 12/10 recommend! read more

I paid $65 for acrylic and a pedicure and it was not worth the money. I feel so bad because my husband wanted to pamper me the guy that did my nails made my finger bleed and squeezed my fingers so hard that they went numb. And my pedicure was done in those little spas you plug into the wall and you can buy them at CVS. Although she did do a good job, but still. Price is decent. I'll give it 3 stars because they were polite and did provide a full service mani/pedi. Shop is very small and a little on the dirty side. They only accept cash, which I dislike. There are several signs in the bathroom that say "do not flush toilet paper down the toilet, it clogs the pipes. Put toilet paper in the trash can." And sure enough, the trash can was full of dirty toilet paper, which is gross. My acrylic nail set took a long time for the girl to complete and my fingertips were a little sore the following day because she was pretty rough. She was sweet as could be, but just not very gentle. They looked okay, but after less than a week, they already started chipping and the nails started popping off, which was painful. Reasonably priced, but I probably wouldn't get my nails done here again. read more

This is a cash only establishment and I have a serious problem with any place that's too cheap to accept the most universally accepted form of payment everywhere. It's f***ing 2017 and I don't appreciate being inconvenienced by their unwillingness to pay $0.50 or whatever it is in credit card processing fees per transaction. There's also no sign outside to indicate it's a cash only business, and the woman tried to hold me prisoner by insisting that I leave collateral while I go to the ATM across the street, which of course charges a fee so I can access my own damn money. CASH ONLY. I didn't read here - but it always pisses me off when I go somewhere and they only take cash. It's an obvious way to cheat taxes and from my perspective it just makes me mad. My best friend was getting married this past weekend in Fallbrook and this place had the best reviews of anywhere near our AirBnb so we made an appointment. Standard strip mall location for a salon, but the place looked filthy inside and the staff wasn't super friendly. They mostly spoke in their own language among themselves. They left the front door open the whole time we were there and let a bee fly in that kept trying to land on me while I was trying to enjoy a pedicure. I finally told the one guy walking around I would appreciate him shutting the door and trying to get the bee out, to which the reply was to hand one of the nail techs a fly swatter and have her awkwardly and frantically chase the bee around the inside of the salon. It was mildly amusing but chaotic. They have a limited selection of polishes, I went with an OPI shade. I had my appointment Saturday night and the polish is already heavily chipping, so I can only assume they partake in the sin of every cheaply run nail salon and they water down their polishes to make them last longer. Either that - or they just aren't very good at their jobs. Either way I won't be going back. read more

Perfect Nails might be small but the quality is HUGE. The employees are pleasant and willing to carry on a conversation with their clients (something I find lacking these days) ...
