Hit or miss with this place! Overly priced as well. Nothing special and I think I'd rather make the drive out of town for nail services

I have been coming here for years after searching a long time for someone who could do my nails. They are indeed "Perfect Nails". I absolutely love the staff. I feel like I am visiting family when I go. They treat everyone with the deepest of respect. They all do excellent work and will try to accommodate you in any way possible. Besides doing a great job on my nails, they are very clean. That is important to me, and I would not go if they didn't clean the instruments or if they place was dirty. Of great importance is that they also use proper procedures when cleaning the pedicure spa. I would highly recommend Perfect Nails! read more

Perfect Nails was one of my favorite nail salons when I moved north of San Diego! The people here are really nice and they weren't so pushy like some nail salons. I find it annoying when some nail salons are always asking if you want this or want that, $5 extra! LOL! It is a little smaller than some nail shops, but they always gave me good service! The ladies here are really nice, she did a good job on my acrylics and pedi, only $42 total which is not bad. However you get what you pay for, acrylics started lifting really badly couldn't even go back for a fill. This place is cash only! read more

The person who serviced me did not seem to like her job She was not at all detailed oriented. I paid 34 for a basic Mani/Pedi - way too much for the service I received. My usual place is in Northridge and they charge 28 for a Mani/Pedi - I receive much better service there. I went here to get my nails done before my wedding day. I needed a quick place and they were able to get me in within the hour that day. The lady was very nice and didn't ask me too many annoying questions or try to get me to do something different than what I wanted. I got french tips and she made sure I knew how much it was going to be before she started (I hate when they surprise you with a higher price). The nails looked really nice. The only downfalls were that they are cash only and there is no register or front desk so it was a little confusing when I first walked in and when I was trying to find someone to pay. $23 for the whole set, plus tip (didn't do gel top). read more

I went to the salon after reading prior reviews. I saw a review posted 2/2014 that stated the price for a basic manicure was $10. I hadnt been there prior but was looking for a salon in Fallbrook that I could go to after a business meeting. The manicure I received was basic thats for sure. The manicurist didnt even use a hot wash cloth to remove the lotion after a quick massage. Also she put the instruments she used in the water bowl that I had used to soak my hands. She aked me if I lived nearby and I told her no. After the manicure was done I asked the price so I could pay since the prices werent advertised. I was told $15. I could have paid $15 at a more upscale salon where I live. I thought that it was very expensive for a basic manicure. read more

Worst pedicure I've ever had. Lightning fast, polish looks very sloppy, barely scrubbed my feet, essentially pretended to push back and trim my cuticles. I was hoping to find a good nail place to start going to but was unfortunately disappointed. The lady who did my nails was careless, rough, and clearly didn't care about what her work looked like. When I said "ow!" (Which was often) she seemed annoyed and just held my fingers tighter. Definitely will not go back, probably my worst manicure experiences. I'm pretty sure I have more paint on my cuticles than my nails :( read more

I used to go there to get my manis and pedis but they are always rushed and they are a little rude. Some of the ladies are nice until they feel rushed. Sometimes you have to ask them to fix the nail polish job and you can tell they don't like it. They are cash only. read more

Awesome place to get your nails done. Seems small at first but the service is excellent. The people there are super friendly and always chatty. The are super careful with your nails, and always take their time. Fast isn't a priority, but I would always have pretty nails done slowly, than ugly nails done fast. If the sent of nail polish isn't your thing, this isn't the place to go. They always pay attention to details and make your nails look fabulous!!! Your pedicure isn't complete until you've gotten the full spa treatment. It makes your feet and your legs feel like new. I got a pedicure about 2 months ago and it's not chipped or anything! 3 of us went in for pedicures, we all 3 got the worst pedicures ever. My gal didn't remove any cuticle at all, didn't clean under each nail, didn't file at all and to top it off didn't put the polish on evenly. It seriously looked like a child did it. She asked after each procedure, "do you want scrub your foot?", "do you want polish?", do you want massage"?, "do you want cut your nail"? I just wanted the basic pedicure, doesn't she know what that includes? In the end she charged me $5 more than the basic and took my $30 cash and said thank you. I was surprised she offered no change (she owed me $5), so I asked for it and she looked at me and said "how much you want back?". Nothing like being put on the spot, I thought tipping was optional. To top it off she didn't give me back my own biottle of polish. Not cool, they need to step it up in every way, shape and form. read more

I have come to LOVE perfect nails !! If you are looking for a soothing spa experience with champagne and soft music - this place is not for you. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a friendly, clean, efficient place to get a mani/pedi - this is exactly where you should go. You are always greeted with a smile, the shop is clean, the service efficient and the prices are fair. Cash only shop which is fine as long as you know in advance. This is a great little local spot and I love to support local business's so give them a try. !!! read more

I live out of the area and used Yelp to find a nail salon in Fallbrook. Wow! What a great job she did... I got a shellac manicure and it has now been two weeks without one chip. I think this manicure is going to easily make it to three weeks. And on top of that it was very inexpensive... $10-$15 less than I pay in the Bay Area and better job! read more

Very pleased with my past few visits here. Always going out of town for these type of pleasures gets old, so it's nice to have somewhere to go here in town. Went in for a pedicure and was very satisfied. The ladies were very friendly and welcoming, and my girl did a great job on my pedicure. The place is really plain, no tv/radio/air conditioner or much decor at all. The products used were very basic (no sea salt exfoliate or anything fancy like that), but for $20, what can you expect? I tried to make an appointment, person did not understand and spoke very bad English. Waited 5 mins for someone to help. Prices were good so I went ahead and made an appointment with Jimmy. Upon arriving at the salon, I noticed it looked dirty and outdated. Jimmy approached me and asked what color I wanted. He kept rushing me and made me feel very uncomfortable. I walked out of there and he had the nerve to ask if I was coming back. Never have I ever been treated so rudely. Sure prices are good but the things you have to deal with. They do great work! I am impressed! i am very disappointed with how they treated me...A basic main is $10 they charged me $15 for it, and then they charged me a extra $15 for a flower on one of my nails. They are a very awkward, they don't make conversation with you, nothing. there no music. and they use the same tools on each client. they don't sanitize any of there tools. read more

Read the reviews & called this Am & left a message. Gal called me right back & I booked a pedicure. i called because I was running 4-5 minutes late gal said no problem. I was as promised 4 minutes late. Got there & waited a good 15+ minutes till an employee showed up to start her work day. I was her first client of the day. They tried to talk me into gel $40, a bit steep for a nail place like this so I picked the regular spa pedicure. For $40 I can get a 70 minute pedicure in town at nice salon or go to a day Spa for $40-50 for a 45-60 minute Pedicure & use the steam room, hot tubs, etc. My pedicure lasted 15-20 minutes tops. When the gal put lotion on my leg I thought it must be a special exfoliating gel or something the "Spa?" part. But after a quick 15 minutes at most that was to be the whole Pedicure. I have had pedicure's for 40 years & I have NEVER had such a poor pedicure. The massage was lotion put on then taken right off. There was ZERO MASSAGE. I watched the guy who was working there give the lady next to me what looked like a decent massage but not my gal. My feet were dry & have the usual callus & always look & feel better after a pedicure. She did not touch my heels & took the blue buffer to my feet for under one less than one minute. I have had better polish changes!!!!! The polish is not to neatly applied. Without doubt THE WORST PEDICURE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!! When I went to pay "cash only" she said $20. On the board is says 18-20. I asked what the difference was? They replied Spa chair is a Spa Pedicure. Well, I only saw Spa chairs. My feet feel worse not refreshed & I feel ripped off. This place is fantastic. 5 bridesmaids and I (the bride) came here to get our nails done the day before my wedding on April 5. Our luncheon ran way late beforehand, so we arrived FORTY FIVE minutes late to our nail appt. the staff at perfect nails were totally friendly even though we were so late. They never seemed annoyed by it, and instead were very welcoming. You sometimes don't get that at nail salons when you're on time! I have nothing but good things to say about this place. (Of course I left a huge tip by way of apology). I got a gel manicure and a pedicure, both were excellently done. My gel mani lasted through 2 weeks of sand and salt water on our honeymoon. Today, I went in and got a acrylic full set while my mother for a spa pedicure. Sammy did my nails. I love my nails! She did an amazing job, she listens to what you want and how you want it done, not a lot of places do that. Was never pressured to get anything else done, for example, some places pressure you to get Gel nails, even when you say no, they still keep trying to get you to give in. When I got a acrylic set here the lady doing my nails cut my finger, didn't shape my nails the way I asked, and didn't file my nails down so I had to get them removed earlier then expected. I've been going to this nail salon now for 12 years. Vee does my nails once a month and I always love it everytime! Jimmy her husband does my Pedicure and he is awesome! Her sisters and neice are also working there. For many years before finding perfect nails I always ran into nail salons that over charge me, scam me into getting other things done for $5 here and $10 there. I hate the pushy salons. You go in wanting to spend $25 and leave there $60 poorer and your head is still spinning from all the up sales. With Perfect Nails, you go in to get your fill and thats it. She will ask in the beginning if you want your feet done too. But thats so she doesnt find out in the end you wanted something you didnt get. She hates the way the other nails shops run and she doesnt run her place that way. Also, if there is a last minute trip or party or something important I have to get ready for, she will fit you in last minute or stay late to get your nails done. One night she was there with me until 11pm because I had a last minute trip for work to leave the next morning. SO back to her doing my nails once a month ... Yes I said once a month! My fill will not start lifting until the 3rd week at most!! She is GOOD! Her products that she uses are good and she KNOWS how to use them. To the reveiwer that said she had someone who didnt like her job? You obviously didnt go to Perfect Nails. They just don't bother you there with fake small talk. They aren't rude at all and they enjoy their work. One of the sisters, Lynn, is real quiet. Another sister (?) she is really shy. The Niece, Sammy, she is ALWAYS smiling and the sweetest girl in the world. vee's husband, Jimmy, is shy to strangers at first but very sweet!
