Requested Rinnai service to clear air flow inside unit, they quoted $1,500+ because they "would have to take it all apart " and it would take hours because it was a complicated job. We hired elsewhere and it took them 10 minutes to take off the front cover and less than an hour to clear anything that had been pulled in through the air duct over the past 8 years. read more

we had our basement toilet's guts replaced last year in may. we never used it since then until this easter. there was a slow drip coming from the tank that reached our basement carpet. i called perfect plumbing back to have it fixed seeing it was their service man who did it. no one other than him has touched the toilet yet they are charging us $190. to come back. we will never use them again. i will look for someone else more reliable and can guarantee their work. read more

I hired them to clean my furnace and replace my water heater.It took forever for them to do the water heater and never called to let me know what was going on, I kept having to call them and had no hot water for over 2 weeks. When we turned on our furnace the K1 fumes filled the house, we had to shut it down. I am still waiting for a call back. I was lucky to have someone in my family look at it and found that something was not tighten enough and was leaking K1 fuel. He fixed it and after all this going on 3 weeks with still no call back. I have to leave this review for the Perfect plumbing crew, thank you! These people bend over backwards to make sure that you are both pleased and well serviced! In this day and age Service has suffered terribly! From automated answering systems that cause you to hang up in frustration to answering services that just won't help. Perfect goes above and beyond. Here's how, I bought a Heating and Air system the installation went cleanly and smoothly. Later as this winter came on, I did notice a funny dripping sound that drove me nuts! I couldn't figure out what it was. From a leaky faucet, leaking toilet to a roof leak I couldn't figure it out. Finally I figured out that the sound was tied to the heater coming on and off. I called Perfect and they sent guy out immediately. I don't have his name but he new exact what the cause was! A duct inside the wall was expanding and contracting as the heater came on and off. The tech spent a solid two hours in the crawl spaces, hi and low (two story home) but could get to the duct. He called his supervisor and set another visit with his supervisor and another tech! Okay I'm getting worried, (this house is going to be an Air B&B and it don't fly with this sound!) the guys come out (Will Thompson and Tim) after another two hours and a lot of searching they find the duct behind a wall in between my living room and master bath... oh man! I have visions of a tear out to the studs.... Will goes out to his truck with a drill and 3 long screws... he drills into the wall, through the side of the duct and pulls out the slack in the duct! That's it! There's no wobble to cause the sound! "The Duct Whisperer" has solved the problem with three screws! Thanks Will and Tim! My tenets called yesterday morning and their toilet was clogged and started leaking. I called and left a message to them and they called within hours to get someone out. Consumer beware! I gave my credit card info to office worker to hold appointment. 20 months later they charged my card without my consent on a Job they never finished. The workers left 100's of dollars of damage behind and even though Richard said he would send someone back to fix problems, I never heard from him again until he charged my card. Because of the lack of attention to billing procedure and my attempts to resolve my concerns about their poor quality work so much time elapsed that the bank couldn't help. My next stop is the AG's office of consumer affairs and the better business bureau. Do not patronize this plumber. read more

Waste of time. Literally. Waited today for over three hours and multiple phone calls only to find out the owner (Richard, useless to deal with) had simply cancelled the appointment -- without telling anyone -- because he couldn't figure out what to charge us. Seriously! Richard never returns calls, and his people are always late for every appointment. It's really too bad. They're one of the few outfits that services "Monitors". Regardless, they won't be getting any of our business anymore. read more

Had a great experience with this company. Yesterday Dave, Matt and Ryan showed up at my house right on time to install a heat-pump hot water heater in my basement. I was a little anxious about the unit but, had spoken to Richard about a month prior to the installation as well as another conversation with Dave who assured me that he had exactly the same unit installed in his home and was happy with it. They both gave me a lot of info on the product which helped ease my mind. They were friendly and knowledgeable, no fuss, no muss. I had also asked while making my original appointment that somebody take a look at my monitor heater, I was having whiffs of exhaust on occasion. They had a look at it and found that my exhaust to the outside was loose and they just tightened it. Later Matt removed the grill and had a look at the machine, he advised me that it looked good and most likely will need service next spring. I was expecting bad news and it was something easily taken care of...amazing! After hot water heater installation was finished, Dave went over how it works as it's entirely different from anything I've had before and now feel very comfortable with this unit. Had a great experience with Perfect Plumbing, the guys were great...couldn't have asked for a better experience...thank you! read more
