Went in today for a haircut (first time here) and left so happy with my hair! She was kind enough to cut my hair even though she was about to close. Tracey was so attentive and listened to all my requests/preferences. She was transparent about how she was going to cut my hair and walked me through each step, so I knew what to expect. Writing this because I'm upset that I had a bad experience with Tracey... I first went to her about a year and a half ago and was IN LOVE with my cut that I thought I had finally found my stylist. I went to her a second time and was still pleased but the third and last time that I went to her was a couple of months ago. It was on a Saturday and she was VERY busy. I mentioned that I wanted to go shorter but she recommended otherwise since I have thick hair so I agreed and all she did to my hair was literally nothing and charged me $75!!!! For it. No exaggeration all she did was thin out my hair and did an invisible trim. I wanted a chop because my layers were too bulky. She didn't even blend them for me. I came out looking and feeling the same. Then I realized... She definitely tried speeding up the process. That's probably why she talked me out of the cut I wanted & said my hair was very damaged that she didn't even style my hair in the end and all she did was blow dry. Tracey, we both know it was because of the two clients you had waiting on you. I'm upset because I really liked your work but after that, I will not be returning. It was a lot of hard earned money for that sort of "work". When I asked why $75 she said cause I have thick hair so thick hair people be aware! I felt taken advantage of. Since I had a good first two experiences... I'd still recommend to book her but maybe during the week. My requests: trim ~1 inch, layers, and keep my hair long. I'm afraid of getting haircuts, because the results usually end up shorter than what I want... BUT Tracey listened to what I wanted and delivered!!!. She fulfilled all my requests and even cut off all my split ends, and now my hair is so soft and silky.
