Had them tint the rear door glass and put a tint across the top of the windshield 5 years ago right after we bought our Subaru Forester. All the tint is still in great shape, but got a big rock chip in the windshield that widened into a crack all the way across the windshield a month ago. Got the windshield replaced and the first thing we noticed was how annoying it was without the tint. The sun visors just have too many gaps. Was happy to see that Perfect Window Tint was still in the same place. Dropped by to get an appointment, Sal said he was just finishing a car and if I had time, he could do it while I waited. So the first time I came here I was helped by Ivan. He was very nice and showed me the various tint options and was very helpful explaining the effects of the different tints. I waited in the waiting room (which has a TV and a heater) and he worked on my car for about 1-2 hours. Unfortunately there were quite a few bubbles and not too well inserted tints on the work he had done. I called Sal and asked if he could help remove some of the bubbles and he made an appointment for me to come in to fix some of the issues. This is when I was helped by Andreas, and this guy is FREAKING AMAZING!!! He was very meticulous in his tint application and he helped to remove bubbles in the previous tint job. The five star rating in this review is for his work, because it blows away every other tint person's work I have ever seen. The work was nearly immaculate, the tints he reapplied was almost bubble free and the fixing he did on the previous tint hid almost all the imperfections. Took my wife's white 2014 BMW 328 wagon for a full tint job. We had them install huper optik all around - 60 windshield, 40 sunroof, and 30 for 4 sides and rear tailgate. Andres provided great information on our film options and guided us in the right direction for uv protection, heat reduction and a clean overall look. Andres and another team member worked on her car and they did an excellent job. Not only were they very friendly from start to finish, but they did a very clean and efficient job on her wagon. They are very meticulous with their work and made sure the car was wiped down both inside and out upon completion. This is the second vehicle that we brought in for tint in the past 4 years. Car tint is not new to me. I have been using high end tints on my previous cars starting 2009. Used to love a reputable place in Costa Mesa. Seeing that shop grow and profit margin increase, I know I need to go out and shop around. Found Sal's name on the bimmer forum I usually go to. Called him asking for what kind of tint he have. He is very nice to answer all the questions I have and ask me to stop by his shop to show me some demo. With so many years offering Huper films (very hard to work with), I knew he does good work. Huper cost more, but based on the extra time it takes to install, I would say his quote is reasonable. I like WINCOS. The quote Sal gave me is better than other shops with same level of rating. There is no room for bargain or multiple car discount (I tried), which I actually like. It makes the deal easier. I went in 9am in the morning. After sampling, I chose WINCOS 30 all around and Huper 60 for windshield for my RX350 F Sport. Five people working on the car together, putting WINCOS on really quick. Then one guy start to shrink the windshield Huper slowly. Huper is a good film, but really needs patience. the whole thing finishes within about 2hrs. WINCOS part has almost no bubble (it's a super thin film). The windshield has tons of bubble. I knew it would take 1-2 weeks to dry. After fours days, 90% of them are gone and I see about 5-10 spots still not fully dry. I like the work. With many years sitting in tinted cars, my arm cannot stand any minute baked under the sun. For my previous 5 cars I have used a tint shop in Laguna Hills, but my sister used this place with her Audi and the tint looked great and lasted (she had it done in 2013) and the pricing was substantially better so I decided to give it a shot for my new GMC Terrain. I called Saturday morning and asked if they could fit me in at the end of the day and they were able to do that. I arrived and they helped me decide on which tint shade I wanted and took my car right back. They have a nice little waiting room that I was able to study in while they worked on my car. The main reason I chose Perfect Window Tint was from their amazing reviews and boy were those reviews correct. This place is absolutely the best place to get your windows tinted at. The customer service is awesome and the work that they do is amazing. The first day that I went there, I had every intention of getting normal, conventional tint. Upon getting to the shop, I spoke with Sal who is the owner and he showed me the difference between conventional and ceramic tint and boy was I sold on the ceramic! Not to mention they use the best ceramic on the market, Huper Optik. The person that helped Sal install my tint was Andy, who also did an incredible job installing it. I was very happy with the outcome and loved my new tint. However, after installing the tint, the comfort access for my car did not work too well and the shop is more than happy to work and find a solution with me! Awesome service here. Brought my BMW here over a year ago and Sal was very knowledgeable in giving me the exact tint I want. My car's windows have a dot matrix on them and he knows the right technique to make sure the tint still looks even. He also supplies Huper Optiks which block out UV and heat. I recently got a fix it ticket for my front windows being tinted and Sal told me he would remove them so I could go get my ticket signed off and then redo them for a cheap price. He even let me use his van to go get lunch while he was tinting!! I definitely will be bringing all of my future cars here! read more

Absolutely ridiculous. I asked for my front windows to match my back windows and they said no problem. I get my car back and it's no where near matching! I told them and they couldn't do anything at all... the lady also said that she could only do a 90% match. SHE NEVER ONCE SAID THAT BEFORE. I would have reevaluated my decisions if she did. Very shady and only wanted my money. Such a horribly ran business and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I also spoke the manager and he was absolutely useless. I had my vehicle tinted in February. I paid higher-end pricing because I just wanted it done right and thought the Yelp reviews were quite convincing. A few weeks later I noticed a crease in the tint across the middle of my front windshield. Also the glass would still get very hot in the sun despite the claim that their material significantly reduces heat. I ended going back a few weeks ago and they redid my tint without any issues free of charge. I would have gone sooner but Covid hit. Extremely disappointed with Perfect Tint and service center have forgotten to be truthful to customers. I took my 2016 Ford F-150 when I bought it, and Perfect Tint did an excellent work. This week, I got quoted $400 to tint my model 3 Tesla, but when I arrived I was informed the price went up to $600. We will never return to Perfect Tint ever again and suggest that other future customers make sure you get an email with confirming the pricing, be aware pricing going up. read more

This is an update from my first experience. My windshield strip peeled off in the center, where the sun blocking dots are present. I was in the neighborhood, so I decided to stop by and see if they could take care of me. Without hesitation, he acknowledged is issue, pulled the stripe off and took my keys. They were working on a brand new Prius, full tint, so really, I'm a minor customer. I waited in the nice and comfortable waiting room and about 30 minutes later I was on my way. The customer service here absolutely blows my mind. These guys are an absolute pleasure to do business with. Not only are they meticulous about their work, they will keep you entertained during your wait (via awesome conversation or a big TV in the waiting room). A couple of friends took their BMW 135is in to get the windows tinted. A couple of months later, the tint on one of the windows started to peel ever so slightly, so Sal sent his best worker all the way down to San Diego and had his guy fix the tint free of charge right in the Ernst & Young parking garage. The poor guy had to drive 2+ hours for 30 mins' worth of work, but that's just how important Sal's customers are to him. You seriously can't get any better service than these guys. Sal genuinely cares about his customers and has an AMAZING memory for every car that has been through his shop, even if it's been two years later. He's done work for multiple celebrities too (including Kobe Bryant). The best thing about him is that he doesn't even mind Yelp- all his business comes from word of mouth.
