I have to say that Ultra Window Tint really knows what they are doing. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the different styles and quality of tints. I am visiting family in Orange County and drove down from Spokane WA. My Fiancee and I were uncomfortable with the sun frying our arms in the front seat while driving down here and so we decided to get our front two windows tinted. We were looking for a nice 35% tint and UWT recommended their ceramic tint (Which keeps more heat out of the car as opposed to their stock tint). I would give this place a 4 and half star rating if it could but I'll need to go with 4 stars unfortunately, due to a little bit of dust and debris bubbles under small areas around the corners of the tint. I believe the this place would easily be a five star if they close their garage doors during the tint installation. With the outside elements blowing in, it is difficult to not have debris in some small parts of the tint. Overall, we are very happy with the price, quality, and look of their ceramic tint job and will recommend this place to anyone in the Southern California Area. Thank you again, Ultra Window Tint! Years back I had my roommates car tinted here, limo all around! Never had any issues, it was inexpensive and they did a good job! 6 years later it hasn't faded or bubbled. Giving everybody a heads up about Ultra Window Tint at 1701 S Main St in Santa Ana. Went to this place for my windows to be tinted. When they were done they recommended that I wait three days to use the windows I waited 7. By that time every window they had tinted had lots of bubbles. So I took it back. For them to fix them. The older gentleman with glasses said that they weren't going to be able to remove all the bubble because it was dust particles under the tint. That's a first. I've had several other cars tinted and never had that issue. Aside from that I had requested a darker shade on the front windows and he went with the light. It looks ugly. Never again. This is an honest review of my experience with this company SUMMARIZED--NEVER AGAIN AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Read below for reasons. This is a review of me going to this location, the finished job, and how I was treated. I didn't keep the car long enough to see how the tint would hold up. I have also gone to other tint locations and saw that they use higher quality tint for $60 more. Shop around and do some research you will find some good Tint shops. My previous experience was TERRIBLE. On August 7-2018 I took my moms 2005 civic sedan to get the tint removed. I was told at this location that it would be $90 for the removal and they would try to remove it with steam to save the defroster lines because the tint was so old and they would remove the back panel where the speakers are to fully remove the tint. Another tint shop told me $100 but we will take like 4hrs to get the tint off and will remove the defroster lines. -I ended up coming here to get the tint removed with steam. Which they did try but then i was told it wont come off with steam so we have to use a blade and I said go ahead. They spent about 3hrs removing it with a blade and then i was told it was done. When i went to see it the glue was still left on the 3rd brake light. I was told from Mario that it would be $40 more to get it removed. Oscar is his brother which quoted me the $90. I said no I was told $90 that's it. Mario started getting mad at me and wanted to charge me more to fully remove all the glue. We finally agreed to $20 more for a total of $110. During this time Mario was mad at Oscar for quoting me so low. After the car was done I asked Mario if the defroster would still work because the lines were still there. Mario gave me an attitude and started yelling which Oscar had to come in to help with the yelling. After Mario walked away I told Oscar you do realize that I'm the customer right and he's yelling at me. Oscar apologized for his brother. **So the back panel was not removed the first time and they used a flat head screwdriver, a knife blade and a scraper on my back window. It wasn't until I saw all the marks and my car was "finished" that they removed the back panel. I complained about the marks and they put a polish on it but it stayed there. I said come on man i bring my car to get the tint removed and I receive this seriously!? You are professionals. I was told "We spent so many hours on your car man that we did 2 cars in the time it took to finish this one and it will not show up with rear window tint. (SEE THE PICTURES) This is what Ultra Window tint professionals did to my car. I could have done a cleaner job myself. I ended up going to another tint location and they told me the panel should have been removed in the first place to make it look clean and not damage the panel. LESSON LEARNED I WILL NEVER BE BACK HERE EVER AGAIN! I ended up taking my car to ANOTHER window tint location. They ended up doing my 4 doors and rear window which they removed the back panel to tint it. For a $10 difference (for removal) with the rear panel actually getting removed this will the my GO TO place and for the quality I should have just gone to them in the first place. The difference in price for the full window tint $60 COMPARED TO ULTRA WINDOW TINT but the quality of tint where I got this car done is way better! JUST PAY EXTRA MONEY ELSE WHERE(NOT AT ULTRA WINDOW TINT) TO GET A NICE CLEAN JOB DONE ON YOUR CAR (YOU WONT REGRET IT) Difference Ultra Window tint used the brand American Sanders--which i googled and never found anything I took my car to a location that uses Madico which if you look it up has good reviews. read more
