When you start to find shingles in your yard & they correspond with missing shingles on your roof, you don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to know the time is ticking on getting a new one. We went with Perfectly Square Exteriors for our much needed home improvement project and we are quite pleased. For one, they were the lowest quote. Two, they were fast, beginning and finishing the house and garage in one day. Three, the shingles are guaranteed for 50 years, the workmanship, 25 years as we opted for an extended Golden Pledge Warranty. Four, they're local. We would feel uncomfortable not using a West Michigan source. Five, everyone in their employ from sales to install to finance was incredibly nice. Six, the cleanup was thorough. We appreciated not having to clean the yard ourselves after the old roof removal and new roof install. Seven, the financing was easy. We put down a decent amount of cash, but needed to finance the balance. There will be no interest if we pay it off in 12 months [aka a deferred interest loan]. The amount we financed wasn't too much, so we should be able make it work. You may notice above that I don't rate quality of work for Perfectly Square Exteriors. There's a good reason for that. I don't have any expertise in evaluating quality. Although I do work on my feet, I'm not in the construction business. I'll certainly know the quality as time passes. I will point out Perfectly Square Exteriors is certified Master Elite by GAF & that's something. We'll sleep better knowing we have a new high quality roof. We're two miles from Lake Michigan. The winds can be dire. It's not likely we'll find shingles in our yard any time soon. Especially since my neighbor across the street also had Perfectly Square Exteriors install a new roof about a week after they completed ours. read more

Chuck from Perfectly SQ Exteriors is everything you could hope for when you are looking to invest in one of the most important components of your home; a new roof. His communication is the best! He is honest, accurate, punctual, friendly, informative, and true to his word. I had previously contacted two other roofing companies (not a good experience) to provide quotes. One tried to overcharge by about 4 thousand dollars. The other didn't show up at all. Then thankfully I found Chuck and Perfectly SQ Exteriors. I cannot recommend this company enough! I hired them when another contractor completely let us down and Perfectly Square really exceeded our expectations. Jim Tomaszewski quoted the job for me and provided oversight and great communication through completion. He explained the material, the warranty, the process/scope, and the cost; everything was very upfront and transparent. Chris, who installed, was a really hard worker and even corrected the poor, sloppy work (that I wasn't even aware of) from the previous contractors. I've know Jimmy for a few decades now. Once I found out he switched careers, I immediately called him to help me with upgrading and replacing my gutters on my home. He was punctual, and on time every time. I work nights and he was extremely respectful of making plans in advance to call me when I knew I'd be awake from start to finish. He even mentioned this to his scheduling and gutter team to make sure I was up to speed on things and when the work would be completed. I didn't hear a peep from the installation. Contacted them for gutters on our new home, sales person (Jim Tomaszewski) came out and quoted the job. He was very knowledgeable and explained the process thoroughly. When it came time for the installation Jim was on hand through the whole process, he was very detailed in explaining each step the installers were doing. Jim also advised us to get some new state-of-the-art gutter guards to keep all our oak leaves from causing problems in the fall, I'll be thanking him then I'm sure.
