In spite of seeing reviews about the "grouchy" guy in the front my experience was anything but that. First there was Bobby who looked kind of rough but he was very nice and after I told him the problem with my car told me that they would look at it right away and got the owner Jeff. When I saw the back brace on his back and told him that I had lumbar spine surgery 2 months ago we got into an interesting conversation about that while they got my car on the rack and Jeff was looking at it. Then Jeff came and got me to show me the damage. My car is an old but reliable 2007 Toyota Camry. I was hoping that the joint connecting the muffler to the catalytic converter could be soldered but there was so much corrosion the joint and catalytic converter needed to be replaced. It was expensive for me on a limited fixed income but much lower than other places. Jeff told me that it would take about an hour but it was about 45 minutes. I told Jeff and Bobby about the negative comments about the "grouchy" guy and asked which one it was. They pointed at each other and we all started laughing. Jeff said that he doesn't look at the reviews. I told them that I thought that they were funny and delightful.

Dropped brand new motor and then lied about it and said it came out of the crate that way. Crank pulley had damage clearly from same drop and rob claimed the motor came with the pulley and that he had pictures to prove it. When he didn't produce pictures like I asked I pointed out that the pulley is a special part that drives my booms hydraulic system (ie there is no way the pulley came with the new motor) and rob said "oh yeah my guys must have damaged it when pulling off the old motor" BS! Vehicle had pre existing issue with idle speed that shop was very aware of. Idle issues were still present upon pick up, ac pulley was damaged. Rob told me to put some miles on it for the idle to settle in and pulley noise was hydraulic pump and not his deal or doing. Engine was idling at 3000rpm by the time I arrived home. Found that the screw on throttle body that should not be adjusted had been grabbed with vice grips and turned to raise idle. Replaced throttle body myself which helped but still had the original idle issue. Reluctantly, at the urging of my one friend that likes this place I brought it back. I bought ball joints to install myself but I was told to bring it back on Friday so he could fix the idle issue. When dropping it off I told rob ball joints and shocks were new in boxes inside and to go ahead and put them on. THAT WAS 5 MONTHS AGO! Several ignored texts, friends telling him to fix my vehicle and a $500 tow bill due to needing new batteries and having a flat tire from sitting behind their shop so long I am getting my vehicle fixed elsewhere. If you're that 1 in 10 great, stick with them! If you're thinking about going here for the first time or going back after getting poor service, don't waste your time!

I was quoted $90 for a basic adapter--far above normal pricing. After I questioned it, they agreed to reduce the charge by $60, but only knocked off $30 in the final bill. More frustratingly, part of the reason I agreed to the repair was their assurance that it would restore connectivity to my stereo. It didn't. When I brought this to their attention, their response was dismissive and unprofessional--essentially telling me "tough luck," with no attempt to stand by their work. They also performed services I never explicitly authorized, and only informed me of a $60 increase in the cooling fan price after the work had begun--leaving me with no meaningful opportunity to make an informed decision. What's worse, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being taken advantage of as a woman. The way I was spoken to, disregarded, and overcharged raised red flags that I believe many women will unfortunately recognize. It was condescending and exploitative. Between the inconsistent pricing, unauthorized work, failed repairs, and dismissive behavior, I left feeling unheard and taken advantage of. The car should've been under warranty, but they still tried to charge a **$75 diagnostic fee**. When I called them out on it, their **clueless front desk guy** awkwardly agreed to waive it. Spoiler: it was STILL on the final invoice. They kept the car overnight and then **called my daughter LATE at night** -- not even me -- to tell her the cabin filter needed replacing. When I followed up the next day, I was hit with a quote of **$290**. For what? Here's the breakdown: - $75 diagnostic fee (that was supposed to be waived) - $90 for a cabin filter (you can buy a good one for $20!) - $40 for two cans of freon - $160 in labor What makes it worse? **They did this same exact job the first time for $120.** How do you go from $120 to $290 for the SAME issue? This place is shady, dishonest, and clearly **preys on people who don't know much about cars** -- or who send their daughters in hoping for honest service.
