If i can zero, i would. Corey Young left me out to dry. I was interested in ine of the vehicles. I was prequalified and had a trade in. I sent numerous texts, that i still have for proof, that he would leave me on read for hours. He then proceeded to tell me he sells 50 cars a day and didn't have time for me unless I had come in. I had stated in my texts that I was not coming all the way down there if I was leaving empty handed. He proceeded to leave me on read. When he reaches out to me, he then tells me they are only a wholesale dealership. Wholesale dealerships ONLY sell directly to other licensed dealerships. Im not stupid. You lost my business. I got a vehicle, that was more expensive, took my trade and is having it delivered to my home, free of charge, after they heard what your salesperson did to me. Customer service does not seem to be the focus here. My fiancee and I went in to sell my car and to buy a new one. I requested these to be separate transactions as the new car was going into her name (needing to switch things around to accommodate a mortgage loan as we are also trying to move). I was told by the sales rep and by the manager that we could still process it as a trade-in and they could get me whatever paperwork was required. I was clear that the vehicle I was selling to them was only in my name and my fiancee's name could not be on that paperwork I needed for the sale. They assured me it would not be a problem. So, we did it. After spending over 6 hours at the dealership, we had a beautiful new Highlander. The first problem came in afterwards, when I reviewed the documents, my fiancee's name was on everything. Nothing on the sale of my car was written the way I told them was necessary. I called over 10 times in 3 days, left messages with 2 managers who never returned my calls. I spoke with 2 other managers who said they would get back to me, and they never called back. I left a message with the General Manager, and still got no call. Finally, on the 4th day, my fiancee was able to get ahold of the gentleman in finance that handled our account. It still took 4 calls and 2 additional days before we finally received the documents I needed (which I still had to make edits to). The second problem arose when said finance officer called my fiancee over a month after the purchase to tell her there was a problem from title. He asked if she ever used any other names (big nope), then the next day asked what name she had on the title of the trade in. Apparently, when I told them she wasn't on the car we were selling, they were not listening, any of the 4 times I said it to make sure they understood. Meanwhile, I tried to follow up with this finance officer on the matter. Every time I would call him directly, he would send my calls to voicemail, for 3 days. I left several messages, no return calls. My fiancee has still not heard back from him since the conversation where she told him again that she was never on that title. He had said then that they would need me to sign some forms and get a copy of my license. But, they did take my license and get a copy when we made the purchase, and I did sign some forms then too... so did they screw up and give me the wrong forms or file it all incorrectly? Horrible horrible horrible experience. I bought a car back in May 2022ish. We bought the tire warranty. I used it for the first time back in August last year. I went to get my tires rotated last month and all the warning lights and everything came on. They put the wrong size tire on. I have called probably 6-7 times and messaged and talked to different people. Even left messages for the managers, always being told their passing along the message and someone will get back to me. It's been over a month with me consistently calling and still have not gotten anywhere. read more

Dealerships like this one are the reason used car salesmen have sleazy reputations. Two times I have been in to look at and buy cars and they have been sold out from under me. The first time in 11/2023, the sales lady assured me that she was working with her manager on a deal for me for days and I found out that the car was sold when it was no longer on their website. When I asked her I was given a rude response. Yesterday, 4/10 I made an appointment to look at a 2013 Civic but when I got there it was up in the air for service. I only live a few minutes away so I made an appointment to come by after work the next day. No big deal, right? Wrong. Just as I was pulling into the auto mall, the sales guy texted me and let me know that somebody else got there just a few minutes before me and was on a test drive. While I was waiting, they bought the car. And my sales guy knew I was on the way because I texted him this morning letting him know I'd be there. Talk about a waste of time. I always loved Honda, but the dealership has really turned me off to the brand. I would never recommend them to anyone. Don't waste your time with these guys. read more

Performance Honda needs to do some serious customer service training with their sales people. I came in today to test drive a new car with intentions on possibly purchasing it with a trade in. Everything seemed to go smoothly until the sale rep, Melissa Bailey, took it to an unnecessary ridiculous level. She printed out quotes for me, like most dealerships do. We were a little off with numbers so I was ready to leave and take the quotes home to discuss with my husband. She literally took the papers out of my hand. I asked what was she doing and she snapped at me and said "why do you need them, you aren't going to buy the car anyway!" I told her I wanted to take them to look it over with my husband and she told me I couldn't take papers (with MY information on it) because if "someone" dropped them, they would be liable.... Excuse me? That doesn't even make sense? My husband called and asked for management and someone told him the same story. This must be new policy because just a week ago when my husband was there for an oil change, the same incompetent sales rep, Melissa Bailey, gave him a quote to take home. ( the quote was slightly different today because it had more accurate info for the trade) Melissa Bailey could have handled things like an adult and explained herself instead of snatching papers out of my hand, claiming that I "wasn't going to buy the car anyway." I've bought a handful of new vehicles and have never had a dealership tell me I couldn't take a quote home, and that includes Honda. Needless to say, because of this experience, I will not be being a CRV- hybrid from Kings Honda. And if I haven't made it abundantly clear, avoid sales rep Melissa Bailey. read more

I wish I could rate them lower. The system won't allow it. Just had the most frustrating experience that I have ever had in buying a new car. As someone else wrote, "Kings Honda takes zero responsibility for their customers experience with Honda". They really do not care what the customer experiences as in the current market, they have the buyer over a barrel. You want to buy a car - these are our terms. You don't like them - then you are welcome to refuse them - BUT you won't be able to buy a car. Example: I wanted to buy a new car with cash. I knew that I'd have to wait for delivery due to as supply chain issues. I waded through the package options - which are NOT as simple as Honda wants you to think that they are. We finally got to "buying the car". I was told that I needed to put $500 down as a refundable deposit. (I was OK with that) Then I was told that they needed to run a credit check on me (huh?). I asked why a credit check was needed as I was a cash buyer. It was told that it was their requirement because they didn't want someone to reserve a car and then cancel (huh?)... AND that they needed to confirm that I was able to make a cash purchase (huh?). I explained that I could STILL cancel the order even if they ran a credit check as I made had made a refundable deposit and, per their terms, could cancel the order. It gets weirder. They explained that allowing them to do a credit check allowed them (per the dealerships policy) allow me to hold the car - AND that I didn't HAVE to complete the credit check - BUT if I refused to complete the credit check then I was taking the risk that no one else would come in and take the car that I wanted to buy (huh?). I explained that if they didn't allow me to put the car on hold then in today's market there was 100% chance that someone WOULD come in and take the car. So they really weren't giving me any "choice" if I wanted to buy a car. Oh - I also asked why they needed a $500 deposit if that DOESN'T put a hold on a car? They had no answer except "That's out policy" (which means, "Screw you - we'll do what we want and you have no option if you want to buy a car from us"). I don't know about anyone else - but when I tell someone I'm going to buy a car (or anything) - and I'm going to pay cash - telling me that they need to run a credit check to make sure that I can pay is pretty insulting! read more

Recently began my search for a new vehicle, was interested in seeing both the Insight and the Accord. I was greeted at the door immediately (only positive note of the visit) and was Marc (sales person) was there to help us, or so I thought. This interaction turned negative very quickly. The only reason this is a two star review is because of the quick service. He took us to his desk to discuss what 2019 Accord stock he had. He listed off some of what he had, and mentioned a few prices. After listing the stock I had asked if I could test drive the Insight. I understand quotas being a thing with it being the end of the year, but customer service is still key. Upon asking for a test drive of the Insight he asked if I was going to be buying same day, because he really is only interested in people looking to buy today. This threw me off a bit, so we asked about the prices he mentioned while discussing inventory and he said "I didn't mention any prices, if you guys are looking to buy today we can sit down and discuss prices". To which I declined and said not to worry about the test drive. Go figure, apparently visiting a car dealership is a waste of time unless you buy same day with Marc. I'm not sure the best technique of selling is to imply not wanting to waste your time. Safe to say another Honda dealer will have my business after this experience. read more

I gave one star only because there is no way to give negative stars. We visited on Sunday, 9/24/23 looking for a certified used car. We wandered around the used car lot for about 15 minutes, and never saw a salesman. We finally left because we couldn't find any pricing on a single vehicle we looked at. Not even a QR code. That's the kind of thing I expect from a shady car dealer. Not one of the biggest dealers in town. After talking with Bill Hesse, the sales manager, I'm sure I won't be buying a car from them. He insisted that I couldn't get any help because they were one of the few dealers open on Sunday. That they were helping multiple people at once. He argued with me that few other dealers open. BULL! We drove around the Auto Mall several times, looking at cars. I didn't see a single closed dealer. We stopped and talked to sales people on 5 different lots. I may buy a Honda, I may not, but if I do, it won't be from Kings Honda (used cars). Customer service goes a long ways these days. They should take a page from Kings Toyota (used cars). We were offered help, but never felt pressured. It may have the most pleasant (if that's possible when buying a used car) visit to a used car lot ever. I will take my chances with my beater, before I consider buying from Kings Honda (used cars). read more

If you enjoy hardball, high pressured sales and constantly telling them you don't want to buy a product this is the dealership for you. My sales person was AJ and I really can't say anything negative about him other than he wouldn't move off the price of the vehicle. The person who was very unprofessional was "George" my finance guy. From the second I met him he had a very childish and unpleasant attitude. When it came time for me to talk with him he attempted to sell me their gap insurance relentlessly. I had to say no 4 times. He had the same aggressive attitude with a few other "protection items" When he had his final numbers, they were higher than what I had already agreed on with AJ, and I informed him that I wouldn't go higher. He made a comment like "what's $10 a month". I said again I agreed to a number and I'm not going higher. He kept pushing it. I eventually said "I told my fiancé a number and I'm not going over that number" He replied "you have to explain to your fiancé over $10 a month?" I was shocked at how VERY UNPROFESSIONAL he was, and had the guts to say that to a customer. We moved on and he finally got to the number I had originally agreed on. He just had to say "do you get to explain to your fiancé you saved the $10 a month now?" That was when the deal was gone for me. It took a lot for me to not check this guy, but he killed the sale. Maybe with a different salesman or another finance person my experience might have been different. Or maybe this was commonly practiced tactics. Avoid Kings Honda service department at all costs! I took my Honda Fit there that needed 3 recalls done including the airbag. I got the car back and the technicians LED light was left in the arm rest, trash on the passenger floor, weather molding on the passenger a pillar door wasn't put back on directly, scratches all over the inside of the windshield and after driving for 10 minutes the panel above my ankles came loose and left a big scratch on my dash that used to look flawless. I had to take the car back in to get everything fixed and have to take it to their old location to get the scratch in the dash fixed as well. A huge waste of my time. Absolutely ridiculous! The technicians name was Tanner. I wouldn't trust this place to even change oil on any vehicle. read more

Greg Rice is the best salesman in the universe however Roy from finance is a lying thieving crook. He violated my sales contract and stated that I was no longer able to be financed when I had several conversations with the bank sending them bank statements p&l from my business and tax returns from several years. He threatened me with prosecution of theft even though it clearly states in the sales contract that the dealer waived the right to cancel the contract. It has been 10 days since I signed and all the sudden I have issues because I refused to agree to the initial interest rate they gave me which was double what my actual approval was. I'm definitely looking into filing legal action against this dealer for breach of contract. read more

I have had a similar experience with this service department. I have lost faith in Honda and definitely won't purchase another one based on this experience. I regularly have taken my car in for service and maintenance and I thought Hondas were built to last. After my car was paid for, they started saying it needed repairs (with a smile, mind you). $6,000 in repairs later, my car has not been fixed AND I find out they have replaced the same part 3 times in the past few months! That is not acceptable. Now, it has an oil leak so they told me I need to do an "oil consumption test" which has been a clown show in trying to get that done through no fault of my own. I was told to bring the car back in at 1,000 miles after they changed the oil and if I didn't do the test, "corporate" couldn't do anything. I brought the car in the first 1,000 miles and they said they had to start over because my husband added a quart of oil. (It was empty, was I supposed to drive it like that?). They changed the oil again and said I could bring it in with no appointment. Second time taking off work, brought it in at 1,000 miles and they said I couldn't get in without an appointment. They didn't care what manager had said. Tried to bring it in later date, had to start over because mileage too high. Brought it in a 3rd time, tech accidentally changed oil (because he misunderstood manager) and had to start over. Want me to start again. Told them I'm not putting my job at risk to take off and come again just to be told they can't do it or I have to start over. They said they could pick it up free from my work. I said can I get a rental since I have to pick up my son? They said for $15 a day. So, no I will not buy a Honda after this one and I will be happy not to deal with this service dept. again when that happens. read more

Service manager offered to honor a discount oil change that I had came in for in the AM instead of PM for a 5 star review. I did not know until I had the car in their service bay that it was for the afternoon only. I should not have expected any better from a service dept that wanted almost $40.00 to change a license plate light bulb. Funny that the guy that was telling me most of the cost was labor and the mechanic was standing there with the bulb in his hand. He yelled at the mechanic for taking it out and I told him I wasn't paying that for a bulb you could buy anywhere for under $10.00. He finally let me have it at a lower cost since the mechanic had already taken it out. It is sad they treat a regular customer that way that has all his maintenance repairs done there including a $3500.00 torque converter in a Honda Ridgeline that went out around 75000 miles I think. We also bought a new 2022 Honda HRV for daughter. I bought all of this up to the wheeling and dealing for a good review service manager and he just smiled and said he would not honor a afternoon coupon in the morning. I talked with 3 people that worked there asking to speak to or have the main service guy call and it never happened. read more

Awesome buying experience from start to finish! I came in looking for a preowned vehicle and sales consultant Angie Compton showed me Hondas as well as other makes that were available on the lot. She was knowledgeable and discussed the merits of each type of vehicle. Mostly she was an excellent listener. When I returned a couple days later, I decided to purchase a new Honda Passport. Angie and sales manager Dustin Jackson listened to my situation and negotiated a very reasonable price for the car. This was a new and highly desirable model so they really did not have to be this accommodating. From introductions to test drives and financing, it was a smooth and cordial process. Tip: I've used Kings Honda for service on my Accord for over a decade. The service is always excellent and they fix it right the first time. However, it is a high volume service facility. When they get busy, it can take an hour or so longer than you'd like if you are waiting for your car. read more

I definitely would never recommend this car dealership or service department. We bought a Ford Escape and they agreed to fix the backup camera. While in that process they found a blown head gasket. They spent 11 days with the car with no update to let us know there was a blown head gasket. They said they fixed it. I got it back and has a very bad antifreeze leak. They said they'd fix it. They took it in and said they fixed it.... Nope it's still leaking. They also messed up bottom cover for transmission and engine and tell me they didn't mess with the underside to fix the leak!! How the hell did you see where it was leaking if you didn't look under it??? Or maybe you're right you didn't look at the underneath of car because it's still leaking antifreeze. The whole process of buying this lemon was shady and I promise I'll tell everyone I meet how shady your business ethics are. read more

Bought a used car a month ago on a Saturday in which they gave me 3 key fobs. Sunday morning I tried using 2 of the 3 fobs and noticed 2 of them didn't work. I called the dealership on Monday 5 times and spoke to different sales associates and managers who said they would look into it and would call me back, non of them did. I called again on Tuesday and they told me their policy is that they only have to give me 1 working key fob. Fast forward to now where I have received the paperwork for my financing. I was supposed to have a 60 month loan in which I told the sales associate, sales manager, and finance manager who all verbally agreed to that. My paperwork now states a 75 month loan. Not only that I walked in with a pre approval for a certain interest rate through capital one and that is higher now even though they verbally assured me that they were matching it. If you are buying a car be very careful of these con artists. They will tell you to your face you're getting one thing and put something totally different on the paper in the finance office. The finance manager even told me 60 months at X interest rate which was a straight up lie. DONT BUY A CAR HERE. read more

I was worried about the mileage on a f150. The sales staff told me a warranty would cover the truck no matter what happened to it for 36000 miles. Less than 5000 miles my truck started loosing power and I took it into a shop. The throttle body is stuck shut. I called to warranty company only to find out the warranty didn't cover hardly anything. I called the dealership their answer was to just cancel the warranty. Which was a big factor in me purchasing the truck. The management (Andy and Glen)couldn't care less that I was lied to.
