After a few months, I decided to check out PT based on a friend's suggestion. My physical therapist, Elyse, was phenomenal. She's knowledgeable and approachable, and was happy to answer the *endless* questions I had about my exercises, how strengthening works, preventative measures, etc. She was incredibly patient with me, working to explain everything because it was essentially my first time doing rigorous exercise, and reassuring me that I would be able to walk and run like normal again! I started out limping and one month later, I was jogging across the room. What I found most helpful at BSM was that Elyse would model the exercises first, correct me as I was doing them, and then emailed me a list of what to do at home. Not only was my PT professional, but she was also kind, warm, and friendly. Our sessions never felt burdensome because we chatted throughout them; Elyse is very good at building rapport! I highly recommend BSM for its great staff and customer service skills, as well as care during COVID. My successful healing definitely wouldn't have been possible without PT and Elyse's encouragement and guidance!

The volume of patients in this practice is far beyond the capacity of the space and the staff. It's not a calming or healing place at all and you will feel like you are just a body part on a conveyor belt. You cannot be confident that your provider will respond to your outreach at all, let alone in a timely manner. So much of recovery is about not just body, but mind and spirit. People have to feel seen, cared for, and humanized in order to heal. This company's business model is fundamentally in conflict with those objectives.

I was a previous…read morepatient at their Watertown location but after moving farther away, I was able to seamlessly transition care to their Swampscott location. Both Michelle's are great to work with and kept things challenging but still fun. Most importantly, they truly have deep expertise in feet/ankle injuries. I never felt like I was being rushed and they really gave me their undivided attention when I was there. Happy to say I'm on a break from going there (although still do my routine at home) which is the first time I've been able to say that in almost 4 years since my accident :-).

I went to another physical therapist before coming here, and there was a huge difference - Garth took time to make sure I was doing the exercises correctly, and explained what he was doing and why - all of the folks here are extremely knowledgeable. The only thing stopping the group from getting five stars is that when you have appointments at peak times (right before or after work) it can feel a little bit like an assembly line - there are many physical therapists working out of the space, so even though it's a big facility you can feel a little crowded when all of the therapists are working at once.

Treated like a vip all the way and for minor procedures everyone here treats everybody with the utmost of care.
