I obtained a few estimates from different contractors, and they were not the cheapest, but they were reasonably priced with far better reviews than the cheaper option, which is another reason I chose them. Thomas is highly responsive to communication, which again is quite unusual with most contractors in my experience, so that was a nice plus too. They provided evidence of insurance upon request. We paid a 50% deposit to get on the schedule and I was able to pay that by credit card without an extra fee, which was appreciated since it allowed me to get reward points on the purchase. A crew of three guys came out to the house early in the morning and completed the job just before dark. They did a phenomenal job. Each step was documented with pictures to show where rotten decking needed to be replaced, and an explanation of everything. Despite already being reasonably priced, Thomas gave us a nice discount for the extra decking on the final invoice, which was a happy surprised and very much appreciated. They also cleaned up very well after themselves. If you need a new roof or any kind of roof work, Tom and Jerry Roofing is the best there is without a doubt!

The guy they sent out John asked if he could run a water hose down the hole (caused by the poor installation) to prove the roof didn't cause the leak. What sense does that make? They pull a team of people who don't speak English. Will leave nails throughout your yard. They dented our drains and are very very slow to respond when their product fails. My neighbors also used this company and have had similar poor experience. Now I have to repair the damage caused by a poor roof installation and take them to court. My experience over the last 2 years with State Farm with my roof and inside my house has been one of the worst things I've encountered. My house is now almost 18 years old and for 2 years I have been fighting to replace my full roof and damage inside from not one but 2 major storm and wind damages. I have have lost count of how many contractors I who have just given up or wouldn't touch it because they were like state farm is awful and patching a roof that is crumbling they wouldn't touch. Then through a friend who was sharing my story I met Keith. They came to my house on a Sunday spent 3 hours listening to my story and going through all the paperwork. He didn't make me any promises we would win BUT he did promise he would be by my side and use every tool he knew to try and fight them. And he honored his word! He got me connected to Public adjustor company who we worked with on various stuff, he did drone test and pictures, arguing with State Farm etc. Even more amazing if that during this time I had some temporary gray pieces of tarp to try to protect my house. I was also in a battle with with my Homeowners Association. And yes he got engaged in that to helping me write letters, sending his own, offering to testify at meetings etc. all while we continue to fight insurance. Then HOA wanted to fine me $700 a day and he did what no one else would and put temp pieces where it was visible to the neighborhood to get them off my back. I know this was against everything he believed in doing BUT to help me deal with the HOA and not get charged monthly till a resolution with insurance he did it. This finally went all the way to the insurance commissioner. I'd love to say we won that fight but let's call it "draw". I received some reimbursement but still not enough to fix everything inside or the roof so it still not over as I have one more option left. But in the meantime I have to fix the roof now so no more damage happens. My main point I want to leave anyone with who is considering SWC Construction is Stop Considering AND Just Do It! They are great partners and truly a God sent. They have gone above and beyond and their service is like they are family who got your back. Regardless of the final result, partnering with Keith and Georgie has been the best decision out of a horrible situation no one should have to encounter or try to fight alone. The amazing thing is how compassiate he is the work. During the initial visit, he took me for a ride, literally, to other sites he finished. All looked fantastic. I hired the company and he finished the chimney in one day, replacing the underside, which did not exist. They perfectly color matched the house and did a wonderful job cleaning up. He followed up later with a phone call, asking how please I was with the work. I told him that he could bring anybody by to look at the work and compared the house to the chimney. One year and a half later, I called him again for roofing and siding, the whole house. He again whisked me away, to the exact same places. So you know there is no BS in where he worked. I hired him for both again, comparing him with other companies. The rook was finished in one day, cleaned up and all. The siding took nearly two weeks. Siding work is messy, so expect that. I did not. In any case, they worked with me in my daily inspections of the work. If saw something, they corrected it. I had some screens riped. They replaced. I asked to replace the house siding inside my porch. They replaced. NO extra charge. Lastly, he is reasonably priced. I checked. He, again, followed up after the job.
