My husband and I stopped here to get an energy drink because we were just feeling sluggish for the day. The customer service is very great but they unfortunately messed up our order and my husband felt too scared to say anything. I ordered a lotus energy drink and my husband got a strawberry and banana smoothie. He was supposed to get a 24 oz and I was supposed to get a 16 oz but they switched the orders. Not mad though. This espresso stand is great. I'm not sure about other customers that visited here but the classy baristas are super friendly. They always ask about your wellbeing before getting down to business. I tried some of the specials here but my favorite has to be the most basic drink there (and at any coffee place really).... HOT WHITE CHOCOLATE MOCHA. I don't know what it is but it is soooooo good. The fragrant coffee and the sweetness of the white choco is delicious. Their white choco mocha has so much more flavor than many local and chain coffee shops or espresso stands in the area. The only downside are the prices but I don't mind spending 4-5 bucks there every once in awhile. If you like your white chocolate mocha to be on the sweeter side, I suggest stopping by at Perk Central. read more

The lady who made our drinks was nice, but my coffee wasn't good. My husband got a white choc mocha, which he liked. I got an americano with soy and it was awful. I went to return it and noticed she was going to pour shots in an empty cup!!! I used to be a barista and this is a big no no. I asked her to put soy to catch the shots, but the shots still tasted burnt. Plus over $11 for a white mocha and an americano?? Ridiculous. read more

I'm not a coffee drinker, so normally I will get a Mocha. This is the best MOCHA I have ever had. I drove up to the structure, easy to read menu, tons of options. The women on the inside were friendly. They asked me what i wanted.. i wasn't sure if i wanted the "magic Mocha (energy shot added) or the pumpkin Spice drink.. it was thanksgiving by the way. I got the Magic Mocha I said I wanted the largest they had, it was called a Marte OMG it was huge a 32oz styrofoam cup that would not even fit in my cup holder.. it was sooo worth it. read more

I don't always get my coffee at a drive-through place, but when I do, it's at Perk Central in Spanaway. And that's because the coffee there is pretty darn good. I'm not sure where they buy their coffee but I would rate it better than Starbucks. I usually get the Americano. It's full flavored and strong. I've ordered other drinks - mochas, caramel lattes, frappaccinos for my daughter... - and they're all much better than average. The baristas are friendly and fast. Even though I may not drive in for weeks, they always remember my drink and have me on my way in no time. Perk Central is a family friendly coffee store - meaning they are fully clothed. I believe they have two other stores, one in Parkland and one in Lakewood. The few times I've been through the Parkland store it was as good as the Spanaway store. I haven't been to the Lakewood store. So if you're on HWY 7 near the Roy "Y", stop and get yourself a coffee. You'll be glad you did. read more

Coffee is pretty good from here. I have only had a few times that the shots tasted burnt in my coffee....but for the most part they have been great. Prices are awesome as well. And all the girls that are working there when I have gone are super sweet and give my son a sucker and talk to him for a bit. Keep it up!!! read more

As I pulled up today, there were 2 cars in line. No big deal right? It's only 2 cars. It should take that long. Man was I WRONG! It took the girl nearly 25 mins to make those 2 cars drinks. Are you kidding me? So shortly after those 2 cars left I was able to order my drink. She was short, ride, and didn't even try to carry a conversation with me. What kind of "barista" doesn't even try to talk to her customers? As I pull away, I took a drink (typically what customers do), and to my dismay, I got a huge chunk of the dark chocolate. My drink wasn't stirred thoroughly. Not only that, but my coffee tasted so burnt, I nearly had to spit it back through the straw. I deeply regret stopping at this stand, and I will not be returning nor advising people to go to this place. Also, whoever does the hiring needs to rethink their strategy because they clearly don't know what or who to hire. read more
