Was at this location on 2/18/26 food was great so my husband decided he wanted Togo back ... the waitress was very unknowable about the menu and seem to not clearly understand what we was asking from her . I ordered something simple ham and eggs scrambled soft and toast my husband ordered the hog .... When the order came out my order had bacon not ham ... and my husband order had hair in his eggs ... the manager came over and said oh it's just an eye lash ... really!!!!! We haven't stopped by in quite a while and I'm glad that we did. It was the day before Thanksgiving and they only served a limited menu. We both ordered the Double Meat Farmer's Choice. We opted for the pancakes, French toast, hash browns, ham, both link and patty sausage and bacon. We had the eggs lightly scrambled. Both the pancakes and the French Toast were hot and delicious. The French toast tasted like a cinnamon roll! The hash brown were a bit lacking in that they were super thin and only cooked on one side. The bacon was crisp and the sausage was tasty. We got here before it became overly crowded. Drinks served right away but then the train came off the rails. After perusing the menu for a little, Queen Bee chose Rise & Shine: two over medium, sausage patties and fresh fruit, with biscuits as bread choice. I chose three meat & cheese omelet (no American) with hash browns and biscuits. So twenty seven minutes later, our chow FINALLY came out! Our dear server (Misty by name) got our orders mixed up/reversed. She apologized and added that it was so slow getting out because "there's a huge catering order going out. I was just so excited to see your food!" Good recovery by wryly telling us she wished "we had more grill space!" That said, Queen Bee enjoyed her little breffist. The fresh fruit and out around 18 minutes before all the hot stuff did, So we sat there quietly nibbling on grapes and sliced cantaloupe. Both were nicely in season too. Even tho she didn't want it, a small pile of "home fries" came along with her eggs and sausage. Blech! Limp little tater cubes with no flavor whatever. She ignored them... My omelet was a home run. Fluffy eggs just well set enough to firmly hold diced ham, diced bacon and sausage crumbles with just enough diced tomato and grilled onion to give it some pizzaz. Nice amount of provolone cheese in there with just a little shredded cheddar on top (I don't like American cheese, usually mixed with provolone as a filling). Hash browns were as good as those tater nuggets were awful. Four fresh, warm biscuits came out alongside our bountiful breffists. We each ate a half biscuit and the other three came home! I only give three stars because it should NEVER take almost a half hour for breakfast to come out even if it is Sunday morning. Misty was good on explaining after the fact and somewhat attentive otherwise. Not a bad server but not an overly great one either. Would we return? Lovely newish BE! We stopped since we were down that way making a drop for a friend. The place was super clean and the staff was friendly. They were (At the time) Enforcing social distancing and not seating everyone together. Staff was wearing masks. We were sat and our waitress came over and took our order, She was friendly and efficient. We both placed our orders and our food came out quickly. I got myself the Pot Roast, because Bob Evans knows how to make pot roast. I was not disappointed. One thing you can count on at BE is fast and friendly staff, and we were not disappointed. I am so impressed! In my 40-some years of life, i think I've been to a Bob Evans once. But now that I'm living in Clearwater and there's one two miles away (and right next to my favorite Starbucks) i seem to have started a habit of grabbing takeout from Bob Evans and i really like it!!! For me it's all about the food quality. I was so happily surprised at just how good the food is! I always order the biscuits and gravy, and get a side of bacon. Absolutely delicious. Way better than the rest of those dump chain diners or anything. Post-covid, they'll bring it out to your car for you so you don't even have to go in!! Been here a couple of times and really can't beat the quality and quantity for the price. Started with rolls, biscuits and banana bread. Omg so good and everything fresh. They Even sell the bread at the counter for $4! You can't even make it for $4! I had the grilled chicken cobb salad. Lots of blue cheese crumbles and the salad was huge. I love the way they put the grill marks on the chicken. Everything yummy. My husband got the pot roast. He licked the bowl so I guess it was good haha! My father-in-law got the Alaska cod. Lunch was great! Have never been to a Bob Evans, as I'm not an out-to-breakfast person. My companion had an omelette; I wanted a fish lunch. The sole was so good, 2 nice-size filets, not fried or greasy; with 2 large sides, lots of choices. And bread choices! Rolls, banana bread or amazing biscuits! 2 of each and would have brought more. So I struggled with 3 or 4 stars here as it's obviously not a fine dining establishment. However they consistently serve up good meals without fail so i went with 4. This is where I order to go on nights I don't want to cook and we all want different things. The variety they have is fabulous. I've never been disappointed in taste and we've all tried a few items in the menu. My go to is country fried steak - sometimes as a dinner and sometimes breakfast. My (16 yr old) boy loves the chocolate pancakes. The boyfriend mixes it up regularly and is always happy. Hearty comfort food at its best! I will say their baked potato soup isn't so much a soup/chowder as it's more like a bowl of diced potatoes in a think creamy cheese sauce but as long as you're expecting it, it's dang good. Next time you and/or family can't decide/agree on what "type" of food to go out or order in for, give them a shot. I think this place is often overlooked. Bring your sweater! The restaurant was so cold that we asked our server if she could possibly adjust the thermostat. She said it cannot be adjusted. She showed us the temperature reading--it was 61 degrees overhead and 68 degrees closer to the ground. She agreed that is really cold and said her nose stays frozen. Luckily I had a sweater in the car. The food was very good, but because of the temperature we will choose a different restaurant during the hot months. read more

First time I went here I waited at the podium for ten minutes just for someone to come and greet me an no one ever came so I left I thought I would it a second try maybe 2 months later and although I was seated, the food took so long to come out all the waiters could do was keep apologizing . We ate at Bob Evans for the first time a couple of days ago for breakfast. I really wish I had gotten a picture of the food for this review. But let me tell you, the food was amazing!! I ordered the meal with the biscuits and gravy, oh man!! It was the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. The service was great and the ambiance of the restaurant was a "homey" feeling. My husband and I visited this location of Bob Evans for the first time, because our usual Bob Evans on Highway 19 in Clearwater had closed down. When we entered the restaurant, there were many people standing around without anyone checking people in or a defined area for people who were paying their bills. We stood around like many other people, looking for some kind of guidance as to where to check in, so that we could have our lunch. We waited for 15 minutes, when a man who had been there before we entered the restaurant, in frustration yelled out "can somebody tell me what's going on here?" Finally, an older man said "I don't know what's going on, I have one grill down and I just found out myself." This older man worked for Bob Evans but you wouldn't know it because he had no name tag and no apron on. He was just kind of floating around and ringing his hands. Many people said they had been there for an hour waiting for a table, yet there were four or five empty tables just sitting there, waiting to be cleaned off. I don't know if this is a brand new location and they're just trying to get organized but I wouldn't recommend going to this location if you're hungry. Hopefully, they will get the kinks worked out, because we love the biscuits there and that's what we really had a taste for when we decided to go to the restaurant yesterday. I wanted fried chicken but, it was breakfast time. Cue, Bob evans... at 10AM we had fresh, boneless fried chicken. It came with fresh country green beans with ham & mashed potatoes. It also came with fresh baked biscuits. I ordered a side of sausage gravy to go with it. The portions were great. Everything was prepared fresh. It did take about 10 minutes longer than stated but, I expected a slight delay since it was me ordering lunch at 10am. It was so much food, it was 3 meals for me! it definitely did not go to waste. Even reheated, it was all perfect. We actually said game changer, we will be ordering from this store more often. They've closed the one on 19 so all orders come from here, now. Amazing experience!! Worst part was the wait which was prolly a hour but it was totally worth it! We had Pam as our server so request her if you like good customer service. The food was amazing I got French toast, pancakes, 2 eggs, bacon and sausage, I wasn't in love with the pancakes but my wife and son loved theirs. Everything else was amazing though, I loved it. The service was amazing by the other staff as well, the host was very nice I wish got her name because she deserves some praise as well, also we had a to go box and someone seen us holding it and asked if we wanted a bag which was a kind gesture. Went to bob Evans for breakfast this weekend and the food was delicious. Had the pot roast hash and my wife had the everything breakfast and both were very good! Reasonable prices but service was very slow. Took a little over half hour to get our food. Waitress was ok but had to go to the front to get honey and jelly.
