The added meat to the omelette were $1.50 each so, I thought that was reasonable. Extra sides of bacon were $6 each. Normal. Omelette and stuffed French toast were excellent. Waiters got tied up but no big deal. Home fries were not crispy, but good. The omelette came with horseradish mustard and salsa. Salsa was okay and ordinary. Horse mustard was fantastic. While visiting from Vegas, went to Keke's for brunch with family and it was great! Inside was bright, and airy, typical diner atmosphere with lots of seating, booths and tables. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Bellini and a combo with a Belgian waffle, eggs, and bacon. Paid $2 for a small jar of maple syrup. I don't understand why restaurants offer simple syrup for breakfast items, totally ruins a good pancake, waffle, or French toast. There's no substitute for maple, it elevates any dish and is easy to come by... I also love to see blueberry or blackberry as options. Ke-ke in Clearwater, charged me 160$ for my breakfast, my husband and I and family got French toast kid got burger and fries, waitress brought me out receipts, two one was for 51$ the other was for 57$ I was confused as I was getting ready to write in her tip so she takes them back with my card and gives me another ticket for 48$, so I call my bank to find out they charged me three times using three different transactions so I go back in restaurant to talk to manager and he said I did that didn't mean charge u that many times, wow! What was supposed to be a nice breakfast outing with my son turned into a frustrating and frankly disrespectful experience. And to be clear, the restaurant was not packed. It was a perfectly normal morning with a regular crowd, so there's really no excuse for what happened. We waited 30 minutes for our food. no updates, no check-ins, nothing. Our waitress never came back to our table once after we ordered. Not once. I had to flag her down to ask about our order, as I noticed other tables that were seated after us got their food. Shortly after, the manager appeared and offered an apology, but it felt hollow at that point. My son and I had already wasted half our morning sitting there being ignored. We walked out without eating. That says it all. A restaurant's job isn't just to cook food it's to make guests feel cared for. We felt the complete opposite. After church with family. Drawn to Kekes initially because my granddaughter's nickname is Keke. After checking the great reviews, we were sold. This place is popular! Huge shopping center parking lot was full in front, so parked nearby. We only had to wait about five minutes for a table for 5. While waiting we scanned the menu and made our choices. We were seated and Serena came with waters and took our orders. My wife chose the Southwest omelette with extra Jalapeños. My eldest daughter got the Italian Chicken Panini. Youngest daughter picked the Bacon Cheeseburger. Granddaughter wanted Chicken Strips and I went for the Stuffed French Toast with bananas and caramel. After a bit, remember place was packed, our food came. As our normal routine, we share foods to try different things. Panini was very good, Cheeseburger was huge and delicious, Spanish Omelette was great and spicy! My French Toast was definitely the best! There was syrup but it didn't need it. Everyone loved it. My wife wanted to trade half hers for half mine but I only agreed to a third, and then only after persistence. And because it was our first visit, we were brought a side dish of yummy fresh fruit. Stopped by on my way through town this morning. I ordered a combo with one Florida pancake, 2 scrambled eggs and bacon. I was able to substitute egg whites - they were a little greasy but everything else was delicious. Waitress was friendly and proficient. One of those people that doesn't need to write anything down. Coffee cup never went dry. The restaurant is quiet and a lot larger than I thought. Prices were fair. Service was quick but I never felt rushed at all. Plenty of parking. read more

Stopped into this new location of Keke's as it's local. The location seems large, with lots of glass windowspace. The warm wood benches are nice as well Service was a bit slow on the morning we were there, as well as a bit confusing as 2 different waitresses took orders and visited our table. Once they took the order for food, everything was fine, except for the apple cinnamon waffle, which came out plain, and cold. It was corrected easily and the rest is history. My omelette was delicious I don't think I've cleared my plate in some time, but I did, as the food was good. My companions all agreed. We will certainly come back down to kekes read more

I wasn't feeling adventurous so stuck with an egg and cheese sandwich with cheesy grits. It was basic but served it's purpose. I'll definitely be back to try the eggs Benedict and some of the sweet options. The white peach Bellini was delicious and so fresh. The best thing about the experience was the service. Walked in and greeted right away by Oscar. The restaurant is very clean. Very big plus for me. They were even cleaning the benches outside their doors. Oscar was our waiter and he was very pleasant. What a great place to have lunch with friends! This was my first time here, and I'm so glad we came. I had the tuna salad on romaine with an assortment of fruit (orange slices, grapes, blueberries, strawberries & bananas). The presentation was outstanding. We stopped into Keke's Breakfast Cafe breakfast recently and this was our experience... We arrived around 12:30 so the first and second breakfast rush had probably already passed and the restaurant was about at 50% capacity. We had no problem being seated. We were greeted immediately and taken to a table. The restaurant was very clean and tidy, including the restrooms (had our granddaughter with us so a trip to the lady's room was a necessity.) After being seated, we waited over 15 minutes before a server came to the table (hence the reference to the cleanliness of the restroom as we had already discussed our drink and food order and Hubs had it all ready to order when the waitstaff came to our table since gdaught and I had stepped away. After we got back from the rest room, we had enough time to sit there and have a conversation as to whether we should leave or stay. (Our initial trip to the area was just to run to Publix to grab some things for a party but we decided to pop into to Keke's for breakfast so this was a detour and we were pleased that there was no wait. After over 15 minutes, the waiter came and took our order. Yay! We were excited. We placed our order as follows: Chicken and Waffles - it arrived first (along with our granddaughter's meal). The chicken tenders were hard and dry. No doubt they had been sitting under a warming light for a good while before making it to our table. When I say hard, I mean as in scratch the roof of your mouth hard. The waffle was "spongy" (like bread that had been microwaved) and to to make it all worse, these were served dry, with no accompaniments. They left off the butter, spicy syrup, whipped cream. Nothing but brick hard chicken tenders a waffle. Thank God for maple syrup (which was provided for our granddaughter's meal) because it saved the dish and made it edible. Western Omelet- this dish came to the table last, about 5 minutes after the other dishes. The omelet was ok, nothing special, a thin flat 2 egg omelet with ham, eggs and cheese BUT the home fries were not edible. They were cool and grease soggy and had a taste of a burnt iron skillet or griddle. Ketchup didn't even help. 3. The Keke kids silver dollar pancakes came with (3) two inch pancakes and a ramekin of fresh fruit. Our granddaughter, being over age 5, cleared her plate in no time at all (I mean, what kid doesn't love pancakes??). Unfortunately, it was not enough food for her. She was still hungry. (We normally go home with leftovers or she leaves half a plate of food when she is done. She is not a big eater so this was a first for us. She never finishes her plate. Ever. Be aware that if you are ordering for a child over the age of 3, the silver dollar pancakes off the kid's menu will not suffice. Our total tab for 2 adults and 1 child with tip was right at 50.00. ($49.00 and some change including a 20% tip). (We always tip regardless of the quality and experience). The only drink ordered was a child's apple juice. So, hopefully this was just an off day for Keke's. We will give it one more try before we write it off but the food did not stack up to the cost of the meal. (We don't mind paying $50 for breakfast but when we do, we expect better quality and service than we experienced from KeKe's today. Hopefully this was just an "off" day for the whole crew. read more

Three requests for sweetener, one request for milk with the oatmeal. Nothing is on the table; everything is brought to you. Decent food - was really impressed with their Florida pancake that one of the members of my party got. They didn't short change the fruit! They were super flexible with the pick 3 options (e.g., I got grits instead of a meat). I had the Nutella French toast and it was a bit dry, not very much banana, and overall disappointing. It took a while for the food to come out, but it was Mother's Day so I definitely understand. The server was really friendly. We'll definitely go back, but I'll get something different. read more
