The name may have changed (used to be Corona Village) but the food is still the same...and it's PHENOMENAL! I went to UW from 2000-2004 and this was my favorite restaurant. Even after graduating, anytime in the last 21 years, I make sure to eat here if I'm passing through on I-80. It's right off of the 313 exit on I-80. read more

Always quick Always good Affordable This is your typical large size Mexican restaurant. It's been around for decades and it shows- in a good way via the patronage and tasty menu. The menu is large but you can't go wrong with enchiladas or fajitas. The margaritas are delicious and the warm chips with salsa always hit the spot. You wouldn't expect the best Mexican restaurant in a 100 miles to be Laramie WY just of I-80 exit 312, but this is it! The food is unbelievable. Very flavorful, fresh, and copious. The service is also excellent. The tables and entire restaurant is immaculately clean. This is a family owned and operated restaurant. And the pride, passion, and care shows. I ordered the $17.00 chimichanga del mar. It was perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful. Not at all fishy considering it's packed with seafood. It is served on a giant 14" plate. read more

READ!!!! This was my first time visiting, and sadly, it will be my last. Their website advertised a happy hour with no set menu, so we asked our server about it. We were told drinks were half off, so we ordered three drinks, expecting the discount. When the bill came, we were disappointed to see that only the margaritas were discounted--and they were only $2 off, not half-price as we were promised. To make matters worse, the third drink was full price! We tried to speak with the manager, but they did nothing to address the issue, and our server avoided us afterward. This experience was frustrating and ruined our night. I feel misled and let down by both the service and the lack of resolution. You've lost a customer, and I won't be returning. read more

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I stop here every time I drive through Laramie. The place is absolutely beautiful on the inside. It's so festively decorated and so warm and inviting. The drink menu is out of this world. There are so many tasty drinks to choose from. The mojitos are legendary! The deserts are so numerous and unique. The plantain burrito was so unique and so very delicious. The meat in the burritos is not your typical Mexican restaurant meat that has a reputation for being rough and chewy. The steak is tender and flavorful. Absolutely delicious!! I can't recommend it enough. It's looks like it's in a kinda rough looking area, but it really isn't. My husband and I were driving through this town (Laramie WY) on our road trip from Orange County, California when we had a craving for Mexican food. We found this restaurant, we were skeptical about how good it would be but we were proven wrong! The food was authentically Mexican all the way. Coming from California where Mexican food is amazing, we were actually able to taste how similar it was. I had the Michelada and it was probably one of the best I've had. We ordered the carne asada plate with garlic shrimp. We also had their Banana burrito with vanilla ice cream for dessert l, which was super delicious! The service by "Chanito" was even better. Young waiter but with the skills of a seasoned one. He found out we had a long trip ahead of us back to Cali and made sure to give us a bag of chips with some salsa for the road!!! WOW! We can't wait to come back next year for our already planned road trip which will take us to upstate N.Y. We highly remind this place. read more

Corona Village is good for both takeout and dine-in in my experience! The food is pretty reliable and tasty (though I do have qualms with their extremely chewy steak), the cost is fair for the area and current economy, and I've always had very kind service. It can definitely get loud at times, especially as a family-friendly restaurant where lots of families dine in. I enjoy eating here as a Laramie-ite, though if I lived somewhere with more options than Laramie, I doubt I'd come here often. read more

Walked in at the recommendation of a Laramie resident. Certainly not a fancy place, but we were seated immediately and every member of the staff was friendly and accommodating. Large menu and full bar. Our drinks took a while to arrive but the margarita was POTENT (although very basic - nothing to write home about, which was fine because after two, my dinner partner wouldn't have been able to put a complete sentence together) and the anonymous-brand wine was perfectly nice. The salsa was fresh and full of veggies and contained absolutely no spice. But it was plentiful. We each got a platter so we could try multiple foods. The tamale on the El Pátron was stuffed full of meat but really dry, the cheese enchilada was as good as a hunk of white cheese melted in a tortilla could be, and the spinach-and-mushroom stuffed chicken breast was oddly Italian tasting. I mean, it was good. But odd. So odd. The Tres Amigos had two meh meat-and-sauce offerings and a pretty good chili relleno. The corn tortillas looked like they came from the tortilla factory, but tasted good. No photos because (a) the food was not plated with photography in mind, and (b) both looked exactly like the photos in the menu so photos would be unnecessary. Overall, it was fine. read more

I disagree with the gratuity being added even if there are several customers. It was added to our service was really bad and we ended up paying the waiter almost $30 for the poor service. I feel it should always be by performance not because the business chooses to add it. We even had two separate tickets. I had swore I would not go back about 5 years ago. We're always excited to go to Corona. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious, from the warm chips with tantalizing salsa to the cinnamon chips with whipped cream. Ate Dinner here with my hubby, while traveling from Estes Park, to Jackson Hole. I thought the outside and indoor interior/design was splendid, which environment makes up a sizable chunk of the dining experience! I started off by ordering a Mango Margarita, which was a wise move, because it took a while to actually be able to place our order. I ordered The Carne Asada, and my husband ordered the Al Carbon Steak Tacos. The food was was good, not life changing, but good. My family and I always stop here when passing through Laramie! I tried a Corona Tropics drink this time around and was not disappointed - very fruity and delicious. Our food (cheese quesadilla and beef chimichanga) was hot and filling. The salsa also gets a thumbs up, but the chips do not. The atmosphere is not comfortable or cozy by any means. Although it's a very spacious restaurant, this allows for every sound to be reverberated through the entire building, so don't go here during peak business hours if you'd like to have a nice conversation. Once our order was taken, another hour passes and we grabbed our waitress again to ask if our food was coming. We saw people sat after us, order before us, and eat, and leave all before we even got food. Just to get food we sat for over an hour and half. We we're never checked in on. Traveling through and stopped in on Mother's Day. Huge groups and a full house but our wait was ~10 minutes (table fur 2) and worth it. Friendly service, not chatty. Quick with bar drinks and chips (homemade salsa!). The menu offers a great variety without pushing the capability to maintain quality. We shared a platter and didn't need the extra tostada we ordered. You can get either corn or flour tortillas and either refried or black beans, they come in a corn tortilla bowl (so tasty).
