So first and foremost, this little caboose is designed for a drive up and go experience. I mention this because I didn't. I parked in a random spot and walked up. The crew was gracious, but I soon had a pick up truck on my back, driver with furrowed brow staring at me in utter confusion. I have a feeling that lattes are their jam! They offer tons of syrup mix ins and signature lattes in multiple sizes. I personally stuck with my go to- a trusty oat milk Cortado (this one jazzed up with some Irish cream). Found this little place when I was trying to find a quick spot to get coffee on the go. I love little coffee places like this one that have a lot to offer and it's not a major brand more a 'mom and pop' kind of place. Got my usual sugar free vanilla lattes with soy milk. Was it the best latte I've ever had? No. Was it served by a awesome and friendly barista? Yes. Was the service quick? Yes. All of allowed me to spend my money with a small business instead of the big brands which I love. There was tons of sugar free options which I'm always a huge fan off and non-dairy options. Why 5 stars? Because the Bulletproof coffee hit the spot. --- --- --- One day a while back, we drove by Perks Beanery and noticed a very long line. I was completely unaware of this place, so when I looked it up, I saw that the real-life popularity matched the Yelp popularity. I bookmarked it and knew we would one day reunited. That day, was today. Well, today in terms of when I am writing this review. Not today in terms of when it was published or when you might be reading it in 2027. This place might have the smallest amount of square footage of a business in all of Texas. An Escalade might be larger. It's enough room for the supplies of a small menu and a couple of people. That's it. I would assume it was originally just someone's work shed, and because of it's convenient location off 249, someone figured they could make some money. Normally, I'd go for nitro. They don't have nitro. My backup is cold brew. And that was my plan. However, at the last minute, I decided to call an audible and order a Bulletproof. I have only had Bulletproof a few times, but have always enjoyed it. Was mid-August the best time to have a large, hot coffee in the middle of the afternoon? It was not. But you know what? It was delicious. And when we arrived at our destination, I was buzzing, full of caffeine. Everybody wins! While we aren't super close by, we do tend to drive out this way when we're headed to Katy/Cypress. And I will definitely be planning to stop here on my way when the opportunity strikes. The only negative: the popularity + the lack of space in the "building", causes some pretty gnarly wait times. read more

My brother and I were just looking for a coffee shop on our drive from Montgomery to Sugar Land. We had no idea this was going to be a drive-thru! What a pleasant experience. Never realized how convenient it would be to just make a quick stop and order something to keep us awake without having to get out of the car. There are so many drinks to choose from -- including boba tea, which was super refreshing to see in such an isolated area. I also love that they have special flavored lattes, like Macadamia Cookie, White Raspberry Truffle, and Caramelicious. You can get them iced, so I got the iced MatchaMoto -- it was so good that I finished it too quickly and wish I'd gotten a larger size. The entire experience overall really left an impression on me. There was a young woman taking our order and making the drinks, and she was super friendly and warm. I can see this being a great place for locals to stop for coffee on the way to work or even for a quick pick-me-up. At least that's what I'd do if I lived in the area! read more

We pulled up, Destiny went over the menu with no rush, explained how to get the best taste for my cold mocha cappuccino. It was Delicious! Stopped by for a pick me up! I love how the little stand is so close to the parrot store,so I do not have to leave my birds in the car. I also love how it is just a drive through cart/stand so you do jot have to worry about people keeping 6 feet from you. The two baristas inside were wearing masks and gloves. The beloved and I had a hot MatchaMoto and a cold State Fair Pecan. The MatchaMoto was creamy and delicious but the boyfriend said the State Fair Pecan needed a little more pecan and less cinnamon, but it wasn't enough to leave a deduct stars for review. I needed a little pick me up and instead of driving down the street to Starbucks, we opted driving 20 mins to get coffee. My boyfriend normally doesn't drink coffee and was going to get a milkshake but after talking to the associate, he ended up getting a Nutella latte. He loved it! That is an extreme plus for me!!! The barista was friendly and very helpful as there were a lot of creative selections to choose from. I opt for the white macadamia cookie but they were out of white chocolate so the barista suggested to make it with dark chocolate. The coffee turned out to be so flavorful. However, once you try it, you'll never drive by without stopping again. The coffee is magical. It's smooth and fresh and always wonderful. I've never gotten a bad cup of joe from this place. I've tried almost all of the signature drinks and the only one I wasn't crazy about is the macadamia nut and that's only because it was too nutty for me. The staff is always friendly and talkative, they'll give you recommendations if you need it. Besides that though, they are super efficient. I've never had to wait in line like I've done at Starbucks, I think two drive through windows helps with that. Whatever it is that defines a good coffee shop, this place has got it.
