That's exactly why this visit to the Spring location was so disappointing. When I first arrived, there was nobody at the register, which already set the tone for the visit. What should have been a quick stop then turned into over an hour. I ordered a smoothie and breakfast tacos, and even the smoothie took a while to come out. I finished the entire drink before my food even arrived. After about 30 minutes, I checked in with the staff and was told it was due to "miscommunication" and that someone was new, while the person who took my order was in the back on the phone. I had to repeat my order multiple times, specifically asking for no hot sauce and no salad. Despite that, after another 15 minutes, the tacos finally came out incorrect, with both hot sauce and a salad, and they were lukewarm, not hot. To make matters worse, the smoothie itself wasn't properly blended. What stood out most is that they weren't particularly busy, just a light morning crowd. I've been to the Tomball location when it was much busier, and the service there was still fast and attentive, which set a high expectation. Overall, the experience didn't match the premium pricing. I truly hope this location improves, but based on this visit, I wouldn't return to this one.

Okay sooo... today was actually the first time I wasn't quite as pleased with my order as I usually…read moream. For context, I am a *creature of habit*. Ever since about my second visit, I've been ordering the exact same drink: a medium Cookie Butter Blondie with caramel and sweet cream foam. It's my drink. In fact, at most locations, as soon as I say "Cookie Butter," they're already finishing the rest of my order for me. I absolutely love that level of familiarity. Today's visit felt a little different though. My drink usually comes out *close-up ready* if you know what I mean. The caramel is giving, the foam is foaming, and everything looks as good as it tastes. This time, that vibe just wasn't there. Service was a bit slower than I'm accustomed to, and when I got my drinks (yes, drinks lol my spouse happened to be heading into work later, so I was bringing a surprise), I was hesitant to ask for a remake. The biggest difference was the caramel and sweet cream foam. I typically ask for extra caramel, and the amount in the cup was noticeably lighter than what I've received on previous visits. The foam was also much thinner than usual. Those two things are honestly what make the drink for me, so the flavor wasn't quite hitting the same way. That being said, one reason I'm not overly upset is because this has *not* been my typical experience. I've ordered this same drink more times than I can count, and it's usually made perfectly. That's exactly why I keep coming back. So I'm chalking this one up as a one-off. Will I be back? Absolutely. For one, I still have money on my gift card. And two, 7 Brew has officially won me over. No shade to Starbucks I spent plenty of years faithfully redeeming stars over there, but somewhere along the way 7Brew became my go-to. Every favorite spot is allowed an off day. I'm betting my next Cookie Butter Blondie will be back to its usual star-player status.

I was recovering from a cold so I decided to order a hot herbal tea and was happy to see that they had such a huge selection of loose leaf teas to choose from. My friend also got one of their lattes and we couldn't resist getting a tiramisu before leaving. Overall, we liked everything and I think this place is worth a visit for that Kafeina latte. - Kafeina Latte (4/5): The lady told us that this latte was half white chocolate and half pistachio and we could definitely tastes both flavors. I really liked how they put a lot of pistachio pieces in the drink, giving it a crunchy texture. This drink is definitely on the sweeter side though, so keep that in mind. - Nutty Almond Cream Cinnamon Herbal Tea (4/5): I was very happy with the flavor of this tea. Like the name suggest, it tasted very almond-y and had a good amount of cinnamon flavored. There was also a tangy fruity flavor that followed and reminded me of spiced cider. - Tiramisu (4.5/5): I was really impressed with their tiramisu. The mascarpone layer was very nice and custardy, yet felt so light and refreshing. I also loved how strong the coffee flavor was which helped balance out the dessert and made it not too sweet. Service/Ambiance: Upon entering, I was really surprised by how pretty the interior was with the mixture of gold and wood. I'm not sure how pack this place usually gets because I came at an off time ( like 1 pm), but they had a good amount of tables and seating available. I did see a handful of people studying, so I think this would be a good quiet study spot.

I also tried the peach mango smoothie, which was perfectly refreshing. The carrot cake was decent, though it seemed like it might be outsourced. That said, the quality of the main food items more than makes up for it. The ambiance of the coffee shop is warm and inviting, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. Overall, this spot still earns a solid five stars for its consistently great food and welcoming atmosphere!

However, it is obvious that the person that started Barbarossa has a great vision, and we have been going since they were just about to open their second shop. The owner provides above average products yet sadly it is almost always ruined by the incompetence of the hired staff. So I will be sharing my experience today, as well as the pattern of the most baffling interactions I have had over the last year. Today, my partner ordered the breakfast bagel (this comes with avocado), I ordered a croissant with only eggs over hard (this doesn't come with avocado according to their menu). Also it is necessary to ask for eggs over hard otherwise the egg whites will be oozing off your croissant. And I mean this with full disrespect because while cooking is a skill that requires development. How. On. Earth. Do you serve someone a raw egg? It is clearly visible, you don't need a food thermometer, it might literally be the simplest thing to cook. You can practice at home for next to nothing! When you ask for eggs for hard here, they will be close to over medium if you're lucky. Today, since they put avocado on my partners bagel I guess they decided to just add it to mine because why not? Well why not is because it's not on the menu, and I did not ask for it and I'm paying for the item I asked for. Not your random remix. Additionally, every time I order, I make sure to specify I want my matcha UNSWEET. Every time they say "ma'am it doesn't come with sweetner" and I hold my tongue because I know well enough if I don't say that, they add SWEETNER. And since my husband ordered this morning and didn't say unsweet, my Matcha ended up sweet. Once? Fine. Twice? Everyone makes mistakes. It's a drink idc. But every single time unless the customer specifies? Are these people being trained? Do they have the capacity to be trained? And sure you might be thinking wow that's harsh. So I shall share a previous experience. I wanted to purchase a lanyard, we all know a lanyard is about 20 inches long right? Well I asked to buy a lanyard in the drive thru, I was told they didn't sell lanyards, not that they were out of stock. No according to this employee they don't sell them, never have. Mind you I had just seen it in the store a few days earlier. I'm not one to argue so I acted as if it were my mistake. A few days later I stopped inside to see if they had any left in store. They had several, I took it to the register and asked to purchase the lanyard. She said "you mean our dog leashes!" ........... I thought she was pulling a little joke. She wasn't. I'm sorry have you seen someone walk a dog? Have you ever seen a dog leash shorter than 2 feet? Have you ever seen a dog? She genuinely begins to argue with me because she can't find the button for dog leashes in the system. (DUH girl! Because the company you work at doesn't sell dog leashes. How do I know that and you don't?) The manager walked over and chose the LANYARD button to which this young lady says snarkily "oh I guess it is a lanyard". The manager looked bewildered at her and I thought surely he will now realize how lacking his staff is. However that wasn't the case. So I beg. Please train them. Fire them. Replace them with robots please. I don't care. I'm even happy to give them gentle instruction on how to do their job if you'll at least teach them not to talk back. Don't assume they know what a lanyard, or a croissant, or a cup is because it just might be to the failure of your company. Bonus: a lot of these kids seem to not know that the source of sugar is what they call "flavoring" :) If I don't want sugar, it feels like common sense that I don't want vanilla with sugar in it? Sincerely written as a person that supports smaller coffee shops in hopes that they succeed over chains.

Been here twice now for the KBBQ and had pleasant experiences both times. While it's not super authentic Korean nor super high quality, the value of what you get for the price tag is very high. Pros: Beef belly, short ribs, thinly sliced chuck, pork belly, and the mushrooms are all great. Service is also very accommodating for the several rounds of food placed as well as switching out the grill pan for when the meat marinade burns. Also enjoy the free sauce bar that has appetizers for while we wait. Cons: Did not enjoy any of the seafood whether it be the quality of the fresh oysters or the marinade of the spicy items. Quality of the short ribs is not always consistent either (a few rounds were more fat than meat). Sesame oil is very low grade with very little flavor (can also tell by the very light color). Overall: Will definitely be back and will bring friends for what I think is the best bang for your buck KBBQ place in the Spring/Woodlands area. While some things could definitely be better, the pros definitely outweigh the cons and the place is more than good enough to keep coming back to.

I do not like most mushrooms and didnt know this before coming but I still liked the coffee, as it seemed a little less heavy than traditional coffee for some reason. They have a decent food selection consisting of pastries and house-made latin/american dishes ranging from homemade chips and guacamole to Chilequiles. Note that all food is either vegetarian or vegan. The theme of the place is artisenal Latin/Mexican. If you dine in, you will receive your cold drink in a tall ceramic mug/cup most likely in an Aztec/Mexican style, while the hot drinks will be served in a mug and the food is served on festive plates. They play light Latin music in the background. They don't really advertise their syrups if you come in for an iced latte like me, but basically any of their artisanal coffees can be made iced or cold and you can choose from any of those ingredients/syrups in those choices to flavor your own custom latte. I also added a slice of banana bread from the pastry case adjacent to the register. The alchemist - a pretty light tasting latte with obvious notes of cinnamon. I liked it. Banana bread - more like a triple slice of bread. Its gluten free and very dense. A little on the dry side, obviously. Overall, I can see why they're highly rated. A must visit if you want to try some of the best coffee woodlands has to offer.
