This was a really, really cool spot. Perlick has such a great vibe on the inside, with its unique shape and wood paneling. It was pretty quiet when we went, but we heard it gets pretty busy in the summertime. The waiters were so so nice and helpful. They helped suggest drinks and had us try some pretty unique and adventurous stuff that turned out to be great. I had a lavender, lemon, maple drink that was really good, followed by a caprese martini with sundried tomato vodka, balsamic vinegar, and salt and pepper which sounds horrible, but was honestly incredible!!! Perlick is a great place to get cocktails when you're up north--I've visited annually for the past three years when staying at my friend's cabin in Cumberland. Over the past few years, I've tried several drinks on the menu showcasing their housemade maple Yeoman vodka. This time, I ordered the Berry Good Thyme and Cardamom Pear shrub, but the sip of my friend's Watermelon Crawl was my favorite as I've never had a watermelon cocktail before. It really tasted like fresh watermelon juice. The distillery itself is on gorgeous grounds, surrounded by blooming sunflower fields in mid-August. Perlick has plenty of outdoor seating on the patio, plus a few tables inside. You can find a food truck there sometimes, too. Just make sure to check the hours as they close at 7pm on most nights! By the way--I'd recommend taking home a bottle of the maple vodka. It makes a mean maple white Russian! read more

Wanted to kick-off the weekend up north with a cocktail and some food truck grub! With a huge patio and inexpensive drinks, Perlick's has become a bit of a tradition for my friend group! Large gravel parking lot out front! There is indoor and lots of outdoor seating. I definitely recommend the patio on a sunny day! Service was super friendly, and both times we've come we were given a taster of their latest vodka! The drinks we had were delicious; their maple syrup flavored vodka was very tasty and I had one of their harvest maple cocktails which was very good. They use locally sourced ingredients for their drinks and it underscores their dedication to quality and pride in their work. I stopped by Perlick for an after-lunch cocktail and liked it so much, I returned for breakfast and a Bloody Mary the next day! The array of drinks is impressive, and the cost is very reasonable. The best part is that the drinks aren't too sweet, which is an issue I have with a lot of cocktails. They've got a list of seasonal and standard list of cocktails. They're currently only offering vodka, but they'll have malt whiskey next summer. Here's what I had: Basic fall drink - Loved it! It was very coffee-forward. The server says it's their most popular seasonal drink. Dusk to dawn - Very Instagramable and yummy. It comes out layered, but be sure to stir it after you take your pictures. Bloody Mary - Solid drink. You can pick up to two infused vodkas to flavor it. I tried the garlic + horseradish and the jalapeño + horseradish. I was hoping it'd be spicier, but it was still good. You can also order food from The Roost of Sarona. They'll bring it right to your table! This distillery is in a picturesque location surrounded by farm fields. I plan to return next summer for their sunflower field maze! There's a mixture of indoor and outdoor seating to make it a year-round destination. I also was surprised to see that they have electric vehicle charging stations. This place is a must-visit! read more

Visited with two other families on a Saturday afternoon, and had the absolute best time. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and there were activities (bags boards and a sunflower field maze) for adults and kids alike. The kids in our group had fun running around. Many other groups brought their dogs with them as well. The food truck was great for snacks while we enjoyed our cocktails. We tried multiple different cocktails in our group and all were delicious. The maple vodka is fabulous. What might have been most impressive was their service - far exceeded our expectations. read more

Perlick is a must visit distillery located in Sarona. The Perlick family owns and operates the farm next door and began distilling the grains that they have been cultivating for generations. Their Yeoman vodka is something special. The tasting room is an absolutely gorgeous space overlooking a farm field. The interior is a lower level with bar and tables. There is lofted area with more seating and from here you can see into the distillery. They have a wonderful deck and outdoor area for those long summer days. Their drink menu isn't extensive, they have standard options and seasonal drinks, a little something for everyone. Even though the list is not long, the options are usually very tasty. On our visit we tried some of the summer drinks, a long lake iced tea and a blackberry smash, both were very refreshing. All the staff are extremely friendly and checkin often to make sure you're not left thirsty. Often times the distiller is there and you can chat him up about the operations. If you find yourself in the northwoods stop by for a cocktail or two and enjoy the beauty! read more

Just outside Spooner and Rice Lake, perfect day trip during your summer vacation! It was a rainy Saturday and we were banished from the lake. We set out on our quest for adventure... Which eventually led us to this distillery and a couple local breweries. Perlick has tasting hours Thursday through Sunday. If you call "off-hours" you can schedule a special tasting/ tour. We were cruising down highway B - and Perlicks humble sign comes into view. It's a quiet road with tons of surrounding farms. We drive down a gravel drive and there's a chaotic mess of parked cars... And we love it. There's several iconic, red farm buildings, grain storage, and authentic farm machinery. We make up our own parking spot and head on in. You enter the tasting room from the side and trek up some stairs to the tasting room. It's packed and feels like a fancy college, attic party. It's a little stuffy, standing room only around some sparse tables, and merchandise for sale adorns the walls and bookshelves. We are greeted with a free round of shots. YES! The drink options are refreshingly, non-Wisconsin like. We felt like we were ordering off a drink list comparable to a swanky bar in Chicago (except the names were definitely Midwest inspired). I had the frog pond cocktail. It was a delicious mixture of cucumber, basil, vodka... Very refreshing! The hubby had the black cherry special- kinda a chick drink. Two drinks and a t-shirt for $24. A bottle of their Yeoman vodka is a deal at $28. Everything was great! Would definitively return. I hope a space expansion is in their future! read more

Wow! Superb tasting vodka! I live in LA and my brother sent me a bottle of Yeoman. What a treat indeed. Very complex and unique. I'm a vodka snob so it's hard for me to enjoy anything other than Ketel One(my fave), Grey Goose or Bevedere! I keep a bottle of Tito's and a Hangar One in the freezer for a change once in awhile. This Yeoman is right up there with Ketel One and may be a bit more intriguing. I highly recommend this splendid vodka. You will not be disappointed. read more
