Pan Dumplings House in Corona is definitely worth stopping by if you're craving authentic dumplings…read moreand comfort food. We ordered the D1 Xiao Long Bao, pork buns, and sesame seed balls, and everything came out fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The Xiao Long Bao had a great broth-to-filling ratio, the pork buns were soft and savory, and the sesame seed balls were the perfect sweet finish. What really stood out was the customer service -- the staff was welcoming, attentive, and made the experience feel very comfortable from start to finish. The only downside was the smell outside the restaurant. While waiting outside, there was a noticeable sewer odor, and every time the doors opened the smell would drift inside briefly. Hopefully that's something management can address because the food and service were genuinely great. Pan Dumplings House is located at 490 Hidden Valley Pkwy, Corona, CA 92879. They're open Wednesday through Monday from 11 AM - 9 PM and closed on Tuesdays.

By the time…read morewe left about 45 minutes later, there was a waiting line... hand made dumplings made fresh and in front of you (if you go up to the window) by two ladies that you can tell are very skilled in their Dumpling wrapper rolling and pinching... The dumplings were flavorful, steamed hot , you can also ask for them boiled or pan fried ($1 extra)... And the Tonkatsu Ramen was flavorful as well... My only gripe is that they don't seem the dumplings to go so you can cook them at home! But they say it's all the two ladies can do to keep up with the dine in customers - maybe someday! It'd be nice to drive to Norco instead of OC or LA...

Tried the vegetarian wontons in chili oil (8 wontons) and my husband ordered pork wontons in chili oil (8 wontons). We also tried the coconut cream balls(6 pieces) which were mildly sweet, it did taste a big oily with the first bite but eventually had a great flavor - wish the frying had yielded better taste at the start. Would recommend.

We got the stir-fried beef noodles, egg rolls, pot stickers, and the fried buns with condensed milk, and every dish was on point. The stir-fried beef noodles were the star -- super tender beef, perfectly cooked noodles, and great wok flavor. The egg rolls were crispy and filled just right, and the pot stickers were juicy with that perfect sear on the bottom. The fried buns were surprisingly good too -- warm, fluffy, and even better dipped in the condensed milk. The restaurant is clean, service was quick, and the food looks as good as it tastes (photo attached!). Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving solid dim sum dishes

Beef potstickers: Appealing looking but awkward to eat and seemed prepared from frozen. The meat was a little roll floating in the middle of the thick wonton wrapper. Pan fried on one side, a bit rubbery. Shredded Cucumber salad with garlic flavor was good with decent fresh cucumber. Scallion pancakes. Greasy. Unable to detect any scallion or onion flavor so I opened it. Tiny specs of what had to be those dried chives or green onion flakes. Scant amount. This is a simple, cheap fix for a usually delightful side order: Just chop up some fresh green onions and throw them in there. Easier on the oil & these would've been pretty good. Wouldn't order this unless they revamp this simple app. Distracting banging around of pots and pants in background. I guess it was pot washing time. Several customers ordered the dim sum and maybe that's the way to go. It's a no go for me.

The service is quick, the food is excellent!!!! It is a hole-in-the-wall type of eatery, but these are the gems you always look for! The food is made with a lot of love. I will miss coming here since I came here while completing my degree. There is no restaurant so far that can compare to HK BBQ House. Simply amazing!

It was not too loud in there and the place was relatively empty so that was nice. Biggest disappointment was service, because our table ordered chow mein and the waiter brought us chow fun (flat noodles with gravy). When we told him that we ordered chow mein, he told us that what we ordered was chow fun, so I showed him what we ordered on the menu and he said "you wanted lo mein". While I get that, he spent a minute trying to figure out where the item was and couldn't find it. I reviewed pics on here and it seems like other people got the thick yellow noodles for chow mein. Anyway, they replaced it for us but I overheard the waiter tell his manager that we ordered chow fun by accident. The manager then told us something about "our mistake" upon paying, placing blame on us . The manager was nice about it, but we repeatedly told the waiter chow mein and he kept correcting us to chow fun. Also, there is a section of the menu labeled chow mein and a separate page labeled chow fun. I think I know what we ordered. Disappointing.

The restaurant itself is super spacious, and since we came at kind of an odd time after the lunch rush, it was really calm and relaxing inside. We ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari, and it was really good. The calamari was crispy, lightly seasoned, and still tender inside, which made it super satisfying to eat. I do wish it came with a dipping sauce, but we already had sweet and sour sauce on the table and ended up using that instead, which actually paired really well with it. We also got the Chicken Pad Thai, which honestly impressed me a lot. The portion size was huge for the price, I think it was around $12-13, which felt really worth it for how much food we got. The noodles were flavorful, well cooked, and had a good balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors without feeling too heavy. The people working there were really welcoming and kind, and it felt like a family-run restaurant, which made the experience feel even more comforting and homey.

Don't expect refills or conversations about the day or the meaning of life. Bathroom: clean. Toilet and a urinal. Food: Before my main course arrived, I was served a small cup of egg drop soup and some crispy noodles with some type of sweet dipping sauce. Considering these were complimentary, I'm not going to complain. Soup was my okay. my mapo tofu came with a side of white rice. Upgrading to brown or fried rice will cost you an additional $1. This is the most bizarre mapo tofu I've ever had. Rather than the traditional ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, this came with long strips of fried pork and no mushrooms. I'm also used to thicker sauce, but this one was very watery. A tad spicy, but not over bearing. Maybe a recipe from a different Provence of china? Not what I was looking for. $15.00 later and a fortune cookie...and I was done. Not sure if I'd come here for the mapo tofu again. Others in the restaurant offered the 2-3 item combos. Typical orange chicken or Kung Pao chicken w rice or chow mein. Not my thing.
