    Vegetarian spicy wonton
    Kavitha J.

4.5/5 Its has good seating, clean atmosphere and visible kitchen behind glass. The food is fresh and love the non meat options, and quick service. Tried the vegetarian wontons in chili oil (8 wontons) and my husband ordered pork wontons in chili oil (8 wontons). We also tried the coconut cream balls(6 pieces) which were mildly sweet, it did taste a big oily with the first bite but eventually had a great flavor - wish the frying had yielded better taste at the start. Would recommend.

I came here for someone's birthday. We ordered edamame, dumplings, bao and so much more. It was all brought out fresh and tasty. My favorite was the spicy dumplings. The broth was flavorful. There is a lot of seating and we didn't have to wait.

Don't let the location fool you! One More Bite Dumpling House sits in a gas station plaza between a Wienerschnitzel and an Anytime Fitness, but once you walk in, it's a completely different experience. The space is clean, bright, and welcoming, with some cool semi-private booths along the side that give it a nice touch. The menu is simple but hits all the popular dim sum-style dishes, with their specialty being Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings). We went all in and tried a little bit of everything: shumai, shrimp dumplings, sticky rice in lotus leaf, BBQ pork buns, cucumber salad, pork XLB, black truffle & pork XLB, and beef fried udon noodles. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well executed........we cleared every plate. What really stood out was the service. Honestly, I don't always expect standout service at Asian spots (and I say that as someone who is Asian), but this place went above and beyond. There were multiple servers helping throughout, bringing food, refilling drinks, checking in, and everyone was genuinely friendly and attentive. As someone who waited tables for years, that level of service really stood out. They even brought us complimentary egg tarts since they were closing soon, which was a nice touch. You can also watch the dumpling makers through a glass window, which adds to the experience and gives off slight Din Tai Fung vibes, but without the long drive. It's family-friendly, great for sharing, and just a fun, satisfying meal overall. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Came on a Sunday for lunch and was seated quickly. All the food came out pretty quick. We ordered the pork xiao long bao, pork dumpling, Beef noodles, chicken wings and spring rolls. Everything was very flavorful! Will definitely be coming back again!

Overall, this was an average experience. We tried several different dumplings, but unfortunately none of them really stood out. They were all fairly mediocre, especially considering the prices, which felt a bit high for the quality. That said, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself was very clean and well maintained. I wouldn't rush back for the food, but I appreciated the welcoming atmosphere.

First time here for lunch (opens at 11:30am, closed Tues). Excellent selections, clean place, lots of seating. Customer service excellent--our rainbow vegetable dumplings was supposed to be 8 but only had 6 so the waiter said he would bring us 2 more, then changed it to 4! Prices good, very delicious, we'll definitely be back.

One word. WOW! Insert drool emoji here. Found this spot by accident and what an amazing surprise. The food. The vibe. The service...TOP TIER. I ordered food to dine in and loved it so much we took food to go too! I ordered the beef fried udon noodles, xiao long bao, shrimp dumplings, fried chicken, and chicken fried rice. 10/10 everything! I cannot wait to tell my friends because this is an absolute gem! They also have a full tea house and I can't wait to try their tea selections next time. Everything I was observing looked too good! Come and check this spot out!

My family and I have been to the location in Wildomar several times so we knew the food would be good. I actually think the food is slightly better here but I like the Wildomar location because it's much more spacious and has better decor. This is a tiny location that is connected to its sister establishment One More Sip Tea Studio, so just expect a wait. Be sure to put your name on the waiting list if you see anyone waiting. Staff members aren't that attentive and may not even acknowledge you until you are seated. At least that's what I noticed today. Once we were seated, service was fine, and things came out fairly quickly despite being very busy. We pretty much ordered the same items we have tried at the other location in Wildomar - regular xiao long bao, black truffle & pork xiao long bao, popcorn chicken, and chicken wonton with udon. The skin on the xiao long bao was quite thin, which is how I prefer it. I could be wrong, but the size of the xiao long bao looked slightly bigger than the other location, especially with the black truffle one. I never even realized there was actual black truffle stuffed in the middle of the pork. I thought they just flavored it with black truffle oil only.

    Wonton in chili sauce

Surprising find! OMBDH dumplings are pretty spot on. The wontons in chili were savory and delicious. The soup dumplings were fantastic! Full of broth, and the dumpling wrapper was the perfect thickness: nice and thin but still strong enough to withstand chopsticks. My only gripe is that a couple had no broth in them so there is a bit of a consistency issue. The cucumber salad was fantastic as well, the chili sauce they used was so tasty. My only gripe isn't that it wasn't tossed in the sauce. Normally I don't care but since they have the "crushed" style cucumber, tossing the cucumbers evenly in sauce proved messy and challenging on the small plate. Overall really good food!

Such a fun yummy experience!!! The red bean buns were like piggies and super fun to eat and cute. The taro tea was incredible as I love when it's not too sweet. The restaurant was clean and service was super friendly. The Cantonese bbq buns were awesome and the shrimp dumplings were standout awesome. Next time we can't wait to try more but really a great place!!!

First time, ambiance was warm and casual. Staff were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, making us feel taken care of from start to finish. We ordered: popcorn chicken, battered and tender, reminded me of the popcorn chicken at Boba House with similar seasoning. Fried tofu, light with similar seasoning. Garlic shrimp spring rolls full with flavor and crunch, a little too fishy tasting for my palate, would skip next time. We also tried the fried tofu. House special onion pancake savory & chewy in texture. Cantonese BBQ pork buns were soft, fluffy, and filled with bbq char siu. Dumpling recommendation: eat the pan-fried dumplings as soon as served. We waited and the taste & texture were similar to the steamed ones. For mains, the beef fried udon had that smoky wok flavor; and the pork chop egg fried rice was hearty, flavorful , and deeply satisfying. The shrimp & pork wonton soup had a delicate, flavorful broth, while the vegetarian wonton soup with udon was equally comforting and balanced. Consensus- Winner was the fried rice!!

    Steamed Shrimp Dumplings
    Paul M.

Dumplings are one of my favorites for small comfort food. This was my first time going to One More Bite Dumpling House. Been on my list of places to come here. They are located at a shopping center on Mountain View Ave and Barton Rd., next to McDonalds. When we got there, we were welcomed by the friendly staff and took us towards our table. Looked at their menu, and ordered: Shrimp Shumai, Cantonese BBQ Pork Bun, Steamed Shrimp Dumplings and Pork Dumplings. Waited for a bit for the order to come and then slowly one by one they were coming. Haven't had Dim Sum in a while, so I was eager in having it. The order started to arrive and I could tell that it was prepared fresh and how I remembered. The prices were reasonable, but just my opinion, maybe one more piece could be added in instead of 3 pieces; 4 total. Example for Shrimp Shumai, Cantonese BBQ Pork Bun, Steamed Shrimp Dumplings. 3 pieces especially when you are sharing seems little, but the food was delicious. Overall, I had a positive experience, and the customer service was great In my personal opinion, I would recommend One More Bite Dumpling House if you want to try Dim Sum. I'd love to come back and try other items on the menu.

For a Saturday at 4:30pm, we were seated and waited on immediately. The menu was expansive and I was surprised with the amount of vegetarian options for a Chinese restaurant. Our server was helpful in suggesting various fish options and knew their wait times. Some notable dishes were the sizzling beef with black pepper, beef scallion rolls, honey walnut chicken, mapo tofu, and fried chicken. The dishes that could be improved for flavor were the vegetarian steamed dumplings, steamed whole fish, and beef chow fun. We probably ordered around 8-10 plates (all dishes came with rice) and many arrived at the same time. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and it was just enough for everyone. Since we had a birthday celebrant, they were able to put our personal cake in the fridge. Our server provided a complimentary matcha cheesecake and candle towards the end of our meal. His robot server sidekick also sang happy birthday! I did feel like they were understaffed because the lobby hostess had to find the server for me several times when I asked for our cake and the check. Overall, it's a great place for large groups and celebrations.

My favorites were the Shanghai spicy shrimp and pork wontons and the beef tenderloin udon with black pepper. The sesame peanut noodles have been disappointing the last three times I've ordered them. They barely add any sauce anymore, so the noodles taste bland. Instead, they throw in a ton of minced garlic and especially minced ginger, which completely overpowers the dish. It doesn't taste anything like it used to. The service has also gotten worse. I asked an employee in Spanish if I could have a straw. She acted like she didn't understand me, so I asked again in English, and she still said she didn't understand. I just said never mind. But a few minutes later, my aunt asked the same employee in Spanish for more water, and suddenly she understood perfectly. That honestly left me confused. The employees also come off as rude and unfriendly. Then, when it's time to pay, they practically shove the tablet in your face while standing there watching you. We were a party of four, yet there was a $16 gratuity added, and on top of that they asked us how much extra tip we wanted to leave. It feels like you're being pressured into tipping twice instead of it being your choice. It's honestly sad because this place used to be so good. I've noticed fewer people eating there lately, and if the food quality and customer service keep getting worse, I can see why. I hope management takes this seriously and brings Thumbling back to what it used to be.

I feel like this Irvine based Chinese restaurant is so much like the LA "Chinatown" restaurants that are legitimate! In a span of two weeks, I have been here 3 times! I had two dinners and one lunch. The inside pork filling has the delicious juices, so make sure you eat this carefully and don't lose all the meat juices. Another delicious old school Chinese dish I had was the Crispy Fish Fillet with Seaweed. The fried dough has seaweed in it, so the flavor is so good. Dip this with some black vinegar... *chef's kiss* So gooood, too! The third memory lane Chinese dishes I had so far that was delightful was the Shanghai Rice Cakes. The only thing about rice cakes is that reheating them is not as good, so try to eat this and not have a doggy bag. So today for lunch I ordered the Shanghai Kao Fu... and O... M... The best Chinese in the area is still hands down Dynasty in Orange/Katella (solid 5 stars), Yang Ming Garden (solid 4.5 stars) followed by Royal Wok (solid 4 stars). Because of this value and the quality of the food, the restaurant is always busy, but it's well worth the wait. I like to recommend a few dishes there. Hu Nan Tofu: This is my mother-in-law's absolute favorite. The sauce is the star here--it's savory and perfectly seasoned, making the tofu taste amazing. Crab Meat Fish Maw Soup: I highly recommend starting your meal with this. It's comforting, rich, and high-quality. You must add red vinegar and pepper to make it perfect. Bitter Melon: They cook the bitter melon really well here, balancing the flavors so it's not over-powering. You order everything on a piece of paper (like a sushi restaurant) We had chicken fried rice, pork and crab dumplings, chicken & corn potstickers, coconut balls and edamame, boba drinks and tea! Service was quick, everything comes out on a cart. Food was hot fresh and delicious, drinks were really good and come in to go cups so you can take home to finish. Will definitely be back

When we arrived, we waited about 10 minutes to be seated. After being seated, it took another 10 minutes just to receive water. No one ever came to take our order, so my husband finally had to walk up to the cashier to ask if someone could help us. Looking back, we probably should have left at that point, but our kids were already starving. Once our food arrived, we still had to flag down a server just to get our drinks and utensils. The drinks eventually came, but the utensils never did we ended up getting them ourselves. We never had an assigned waiter just multiple people bringing our dishes. The service was so poor that I honestly can't even remember how the food tasted because the entire experience was overshadowed by the lack of attention and organization. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had, and I won't be returning.
