    Gettin'Sum Bao Bun Burger
    Junior T.

Something special about that Bao Burger. I'm new to bao buns, and this was a good introduction. Fluffy and held the sauces & burger juices well. The slaw is crunchy, burger patty is juicy and perfect temp, sauces are sweet/tangy/creamy. Addicted... Jimmy's customer service and vendor courtesy is top notch.

Was able to try their dimsum during a plant pop up. They have variety of food options and good size. Tried their 3 for 10 shumai, bbq pork bun, a really cute piglet bun. Finished them all . Would love to see them around again. Love that the server is always smiling. Thats great customer service right there

First time ever having Gettin'Sum Dim Sum and it was absolutely delicious. I was a little nervous when I saw how much was on plate but I can assure you I ate it all filling was a plus I wasn't expecting it at all and the sauce combinations were absolutely on point the burger itself was so soft and had so much flavor thank you so much!!!

Best Dim Sum I've ever had!! I tried the chicken this time but I've had the shrimp before and honestly you can't go wrong!! The new burger is honestly one of my favorites though you will not want to miss it!!

Since it was our first time, we decided to stick with the dumplings. We ordered them steamed, and they did not disappoint. The beef dumplings were my favorite and paired really well with their sauce. The shrimp and pork dumplings were also delicious, offering a great balance of flavors without either meat being too overpowering. The teas were another highlight. I tried two, and the mango was my favorite. It was initially pretty sweet, but once everything blended together, it was perfect. The portions are fair--maybe even generous--and the prices are very reasonable. The workers were fast, friendly, and kept everything clean. I'll definitely be coming back to try some of their other dishes!

I remember coming here a few years ago when the restaurant wasn't even full. Well deserved Pan Dumpling House! The food was good! I ordered the liang pi cold noodles and a pork burger. Both were absolutely delicious! The liang pi cold noodles are perfect if you're craving something refreshing, and if you want something meaty to go with it, definitely get the pork burger too! This is my usual go-to combo. Highly recommend checking out Pan Dumpling House! If you don't want to wait in line, ordering pickup is also a great option.

It took about 40 minutes just to get our drinks and have our order taken, and then another 50 minutes for the food to arrive. I politely asked several times when our food would be coming out. The restaurant was not very busy and there were several open tables, so I wasn't sure what the delay was. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, one dish came out, and a few minutes later the rest of the order arrived. Unfortunately, the server also brought the entrée I had clearly canceled when placing the order. I explained that I had canceled it, but she insisted that my mother had ordered it. I calmly told her that I was the only one who spoke and placed the order--my mother hadn't even asked for anything. She continued insisting that we keep the dish because it was already made. When I politely declined, she pointed at my mother and said she had ordered it. My mother responded that she hadn't even spoken. At that point, the server raised her voice and became aggressive, saying we had ordered it and had to keep it. Her attitude shifted completely from polite to confrontational. We remained calm and did not escalate the situation. Eventually, when she realized we weren't going to argue or cause a scene, she took the dish back and walked away. That reaction was completely uncalled for. Additionally, I observed something else that was concerning. A group of African Americans and Hispanic men came in, and there were about four tables open at the time. They were told they had to wait 40-50 minutes to be seated, while other guests who came in after them were seated right away. From what I witnessed, it felt discriminatory based on how they were dressed. That was very uncomfortable to see. At the end of the day, this is a business. We can't pick and choose who gets service. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect. This is my personal experience and observation. I won't take away from the fact that the food was delicious, but the customer service was awful and the delays were absurd. If a restaurant is busy and the food is this good, there should be enough staff scheduled to provide proper service. Because of the service experience, I will not be returning.

I was not disappointed. The location I immediately recognized as a house I have been to many times in the past, but under at least 2 different banners; I think "Plus 1 Dumplings" was one. I ordered a combo plat of roast duck and roast pork, an order of chicken feet, shrimp and pork shau mai and a chive and pork ball (I forgot the name but not the intense flavor!). All plates were among the best I have eaten anywhere and I believe they were all made to order as they came out over a period of time and not all at once. The flavors were superlative and the price fair. My entire meal came to $40 and I was sated. The wait staff was friendly and the restaurant itself was clean and cheery. I will be back soon.

Soon after, multiple parties walked in, bypassed the list entirely, and were seated right away. I approached the host stand to check in, and the staff simply asked, "Did you put your name down?" to which I said yes. Right after that conversation, yet another party walked in and they were told to write their name down, and the staff immediately scratched it off and seated them on the spot while we were still left waiting. It's extremely disappointing to see long-time customers treated with zero regard or basic organization. Good food doesn't make up for completely unfair and dismissive service.

Yet the menu is a small but authentic set of items, mostly Shanghai style. The good: the food was mostly excellent. The 生煎包 (panfried pork buns) was one of the best I've had in the U.S. , 荠菜肉丝炒年糕 (rice cake with shepherds purse and shredded pork) was a really nice texture and flavor, and braised eel 鳝鱼 what is a rarely found dish in the US and quite tasty. The bad: prices were high but this would be ok if it weren't for... The ugly: the service is literally the worst I've ever experienced at a restaurant. When we first sat down, we were one of only three tables so service was swift and reasonable, but pretty quickly the restaurant filled up and we stopped getting our food. In fact, we never got two out of the three items we originally ordered. It also took multiple tries to get more pan fried pork buns, and when they eventually came 45 mins later, they were soggy and not nearly as good as the first batch. We also never got water refills and the three guests who came later just never got water. Finally, I pointed out a hair in one of the dishes, and they never even offered any compensation. The waiters kept forgetting in general. If I'm craving this stuff, I might come during a less busy time. Sadly, the bar for that might be a little high due to this poor experience.

The restaurant is located inside the food court of 99 Ranch Market. You can place your order using the self-service kiosk, but while I was ordering, the owner came over to help and explain the menu. I asked him what the difference was between this location and the Rowland Heights stores, and he laughed and told me that he's actually the father of the owner of the Rowland Heights location! I ordered the Braised Beef Basket Rice Noodle Soup ($14.99), and it was excellent. The portion was huge! I couldn't even finish it! I actually think the serving size is larger than the same dish at the Rowland Heights location. I also ordered the Boiled Lettuce ($7.99), which was delicious. I especially appreciated that the sauce was served on the side instead of being poured over the vegetables. It allowed me to control how much sauce I wanted, so the dish wasn't overly salty. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable for the generous portions. As a bonus, I was able to watch the World Cup while having lunch since there are plenty of seats in the food court.
