Ford refuses to do a recall on these defective EcoBoost engines. The team at Pages was very informative and showed a great deal of technical knowledge. Replaced engine quickly with no problems. My 2017 Ford Edge with the 2.0L EcoBoost engine experience a cracked engine block, leading to coolant leaks, overheating, and engine misfires. This issue is tied to a known defect in the engine's design, where the block's sealing surface warps due to high heat from the turbocharger, allowing coolant to leak into the cylinder. The Ford dealers are not going to tell you this, and I put my faith in Pages as they diagnosed and replace the engine quickly and perfectly. Back on the road! They ruined my transmission a few years back and blamed it on me. Took over 3+ weeks to get my car…read moreback. I eventually had to go to a junk yard and buy my own transmission for 1/15th of the price of their rebuild quote for them to install. They cut my exhaust pipes where the flange from the Catalytic converter meets the H-Pipe. Not sure why they didn't just unbolt it? In fact, didn't even bolt them back together with new bolts when they cut them off. Instead, they put on exhaust sealer/glue. When I got my car back, I told them that I had a big exhaust leak and their response was, "the car was like that when you gave it to us". My driver side exhaust has been leaking for years due to them cutting the flanges.. I had to grind down the flange just to level it out and it's still not perfect. Every week that I called them, they said never even started it. "it will be done next week, call us next week" - "oh yeah he just looked at it, call us tomorrow" - "give us one more day". How hard is it to swap transmissions? They replaced the oil pan on my transmission and charged me for it without my consent because "It had a dimple in it". I even had to take the car back to get the shifting lever re-adjusted because the car had trouble going into reverse. I never even got my old transmission back either. They wanted to charge me a "core" charge for my own transmission when they were supposed to swap it out with another one I had in the trunk. My car drove perfectly fine without 4th gear and overdrive turned off. Once they did whatever they did, I got my car back and it was slipping gears, only to lose all forward gears on the highway. They charged me to install the replacement transmission I bought at the junk yard. I haven't had a problem with that transmission after all these years. This happened years ago but I remember everything. I love how my review isn't recommended. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
