Absolutely THE WORST HVAC company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. I was ripped off…read moreby EX-CEO Matt on two different locations, Mine and my fathers. First I paid for a new Furnace, AC unit, and tankless water heater. After the install I found out instead of installing the SER 16.2 I paid for they installed a 15.4 instead at my house. Both my father and I were told we had sign up for the service contract and that they would service our equipment for free. In the beginning it seemed like a great deal. I also had my water main break and that was all this initial call was for. I was able to fix the main break on my own and did not need the service. It took Whitney so long that they had already installed the AC and furnace but not fixed the water. When I told Matt I didn't need he stated he had all his profit wrapped in that portion and that I would need to pay another 4k... My father had an AC and Furnace. They did not give him the de-humidifier he paid for because the install tech had a dull drill bit and inadequate tools, it took him 4+ hours to drill through the wall. My father offered a better bit and drill, the employee refused. SO he did not get what he paid for either. Fast forward to the after the first winter and my fathers AC is not working. WHiteny comes out and tells him he has a leak, service plan expired (even though they never came out for wither of us) and he would need to pay them. He then called the office and spoke with the office manager who stated he would not have to pay. Later I call I have to my service completed that I paid for at install (more than $4350 after the additional extorted $4000. ) just to find out my service plan expired and I also will need to pay after they completed the service, not before. I call the manager explain the situation let them know I am not going to pay, they say that's totally understandable, the AC unit should not be leaking when barely a year old. THIS WHOLE TIME THEY BILL ME FOR EVERYTHING. My dads service, mine, just everything. I call ask them for the 10th time to straighten out our accounts, explained again the entire situation to Margot. She says she will fix it, and talk with the higher ups and get this resolved. Instead she then Billed my father for services from MY house and his house! This company is hot pile of crap and is the biggest mess I have ever seen. If they continue to harass us over their fraudulent charges and business practices, we will see them in court. You sold me a 16.2 and installed a 15.4 thinking you were slick. You lied about your service plan, and over charges customers because your employees had poor tolls and improper equipment (Install tech tried to drill through a 12" wall with a dull bit and dead right angle battery drill). My father and I expect an apology. Thank you.

NEVER use Lamphere Plumbing, Heating and Cooling in Owosso. I called them first thing yesterday…read moremorning (8:30) and set up an appointment with them because our Sump Pump is going out- it was making an awful noise and smoking when my husband discovered it @ 3:30 in the morning. I told them all this on the phone and they promptly made me an appointment for "sometime after 2 but before 5 because that's when we close". My son gets out of school at 3:50 but we needed this fixed ASAP so I made the appointment and made other arrangements to get him home. 2:00 rolls around and I wait. And wait and wait and wait. Finally at 4:30 I think I better call them and make sure all is still a go. The lady says yes, they're running a bit behind but I'm still on the schedule and they'll DEFINITELY be here! So, again, I wait. Finally at 7:30 PM I gave up and admitted to myself that they weren't coming. No call or anything just kept me waiting all day and NEVER showed. I'm furious. This company has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. The real kicker is this was actually the second chance I was giving them because we needed this fixed and they "supposedly" could get to us right away. Last year when we had no hot water they showed up, looked things over, said they had to order a part and then never called me again! I called several times over the course of 2 weeks and got nothing in return- no return call, no part, nobody showing up to fix it like they said they would. Nothing. And every time I'd call they'd take my info as if they didn't already know me and I hadn't been trying to get answers for weeks. I finally had to go to another company who came out and fixed it all in the same day. I've never seen such an unprofessional company in my life and I will not be giving them ANY more chances. I suggest you don't either.
