    Paneer Tikka Pizza

Nice staff, vary nice establishment and ambiance, pizza 10/10. Tikka sauce is vary flavorful.

    Butter Chicken Pizza

First, let me start by saying how kind and friendly the staff were. The young lady at the counter was also our server , and she was just the sweetest! The pizza took some time (25 min) to make, and she would kindly check in and see if we needed anything, and give updates on the cooking time. The butter chicken pizza was FAB. The biriyani and noodles were wonderful, also. The biriyani had that warm, savory spice to it that makes biriyani so delicious. The noodles had this great, crispy (almost tandoori like?) chicken in it. Great experience overall. Will be my go-to spot for Indian food in Charlotte!

    Butter Chicken Pizza

butter chicken pizza was SOO good! never had it before, but will be ordering again! excited to try other options on the menu! i would recommend getting an extra butter chicken sauce (we used all the sauce on half of the pizza)

Service was good and they were very polite. There was something about this place that just didn't sit right. Not sure what it was. We all ordered dosas with different fillings. A south Indian staple. Crispy thing pancake type but paper thin stuffed with usually potatoes but here they had so many different things to pick from, eggs, cheese, chicken tikka, etc . I had a masala dosa which was traditional spicy potato filling served with chutneys and Dahl. Others on the table had the chicken tikka masala and the chicken keema which is ground chicken . They were all tasty. The Dahl dipping sauce was good. The chutneys also tasty. The dosa itself was very oily and didn't stay crispy like others I've had before. This was kinda disappointing and I didn't end up eating most of it because it was soggy. The filling was also nice and spicy. We all kinda felt that way about the dosas. Also had a plain naan, which was kinda flat not puffy and crispy, which makes me believe they don't have a tandoor to make naan like most places do. Shame really . We also tried the medu vada, served with Dahl to dip into also these are fried dough but spiced . They were ok. Nothing spectacular. Anyway they have a pretty extensive menu and seem to have a good take out business . Probably not a return here for me though.

The inside had enough seating for people and service was good. Although I think our server could have paid a bit more attention to us in terms of refilling our water. But it is a fairly chill atmosphere inside. We got the Gobi 65, Chicken 65 Boneless Biryani, Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Mango Lassi. The Gobi 65 at mild spice still had a slight kick to it, but it was very flavorful! I really enjoyed it. The Chicken Tikka Masala tasted very buttery and not as spicy as I wanted it to be (asked for medium spice), so it makes me wonder if they accidentally gave me the wrong dish... like Butter Chicken? Otherwise, it was alright. Lots of bell peppers inside the dish and the chicken was cut into small pieces. The Garlic Naan was super garlicky which I loved and tasted great being dipped in the Chicken Tikka Masala. For the Mango Lassi, it came pre-packaged in this small bottle. It tasted fine, but not as sweet as I wanted it to be. My friend liked the Chicken 65 Boneless Biryani, which came in a massive bowl. Overall, I enjoyed the food here. Although I kind of want to get the Chicken Tikka Masala again and see if it tastes less buttery and more spicy next time. I would come back to try the other items on the menu!

There was a strong language barrier with the server and Google Translate seemed to be less effective in Pakistani than in other languages. Full shredded raw onion over a cup of saffron rice, with 2 slender chicken kubideh for $25... and it was tiny for take out. I asked about the Jarzamzam drink and the only explanation was, that it was too expensive for the staff to try. Siri finally spoke up on her behalf and I know that's it's water from a sacred well in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Finally, I tried the Lassi, which in my minds is a sweet yogurt drink flavored with mango. The place was busy after we got there and had a lot of take out going . We went with a few different dishes. They have plenty of choices for vegetarian and meat eaters. Also have a full bar, beer, wine and cocktails. The vegetable Manchurian was nice and hot in temperature. Nice spice level too. Lots of veggies in the wonderful sauce. Yum. I had the chicken vindaloo which is my go to . Extra hot and served with basmati rice this had a great spicy sauce and plenty of chicken and potatoes in it. Definitely could share it or have another meal . The garlic naan was really good and fluffy and came straight from the tandoor hot. Also had the chicken tikka masala on the table. Mild spice level and good amount of spice and I love the color of everything. Food took awhile to come out but it's worth it. The owner also sent us over a plate of a spongy chick peas flour savory cake off the menu . Super nice ! Fluffy spicy cake . Delicious and so nice of him! I've had this at home before but this was a nice version of it. Had a great dinner here. Always nice to discover a new Indian away from home. They seem to have the business down pat.

The Gobi Manchurian was cooked far too crispy to the point where it felt hard and overfried instead of having that perfect balance of crunch and softness inside. The Malai Kofta was another disappointment because the kofta itself had a stretchy texture and tasted like it may not have been freshly made, though I will say the curry surrounding it was actually very flavorful, creamy, and enjoyable with good spice balance. Unfortunately, the naan was extremely dry and lacked the soft, buttery texture you would normally expect from fresh naan at an Indian restaurant. The Paneer Biryani also had an overwhelmingly strong masala flavor that completely dominated the dish and made it difficult to enjoy the other flavors or the paneer itself. Overall, there were a few good elements here and there, especially some of the curry flavors, but the food quality and textures across multiple dishes made the experience feel inconsistent.

Next time, I will call in the order instead of waiting inside. The menu is vast and has a lot of variety. I ordered the lamb saag mild, lamb vindaloo spicy, lamb samosas, and garlic naan. The lamb saag was so tender and flavorful. My lamb saag was not spicy at all and I think it was left out, but it still was good. It needed just a pinch of salt, but flavor/seasonings deepened after I let it sit on the fridge. The rice was pretty good also but needed a pinch of salt as well. The portion size was good for the price. The lamb vindaloo was tender and spicy! Spicy in a good way to a where it added flavor to the dish and not just being hot for no reason. The garlic naan was good fresh, but it didn't reheat the best. Lastly, I got the lamb samosas. The meat was filled to the brim and they were fresh! The sauces it came with were good! Also, the mango juice was to die for!!! I would definitely try more menu items and I was able to eat off the meal about two or three times. All the food mentioned came out to about $60 which is unbeatable. I will certainly return!

The taste of the biryani is consistent (I ordered same dish over 10 times now). It is not too spicy, which is good because it does not dominate the inherent flavor of the biryani. The mutton is cooked so well, that the pieces separate out even with gentle pressure. This is one dish that can truly take you back in time (and place). My review is for mutton biryani in specific.
