So good! I've never had Indian food. My friend ordered butter chicken, tikka masala that came with two huge helpings of rice and different flavored bread. So so yummy! I was not sure what I was expecting but it's surpassed anything I imagined. The staff was so friendly and courteous. We will be back!

Located on Bryan Rd. Between Lake St. Louis and O'Fallon, this location has been multiple Indian restaurants. I used to patron this establishment when it was known as Tandoori King, and I thought it was good then! Now it's known as Persis Grill and it's even better! They updated the interior to give it more of a modern feel and offer all you can eat buffet dining inside. I got my food to go so didn't get to try the buffet options, but the food I did order was amazing! Best Samosas I've ever had! They're giant and have a delicious dough shell filled with potatoes and peas that go great dipped in their mint and cilantro sauce! The chicken saag was full of flavor with the chicken being moist and delectable. It had just the right amount of spice that added to the dish without overpowering the flavor. Both my dishes were prepared at a medium heat level with the saag being a bit spicier than the Aloo Gobi Marsala. The Marsala was also delicious, offering a vegetarian option with potatoes and cauliflower to pair with my chicken saag. They do close from 2:30-5pm so schedule accordingly!

I've eaten at Persis Indian Grill a few times and the food is so flavorful and the meats so tender, the customer service has also been really great. They recently added upscale touches to their interior that makes the dine in experience more enjoyable too - large comfortable booths, modern decor, etc. A few of my favorite dishes - Shrimp Tikka, Baby Corn Manchurian, Chicken Dum Biryani, Pepper Chicken, Garlic Naan & for dessert the Apricot Delight! They have a full bar including Indian beers & sodas, I like the Taj Mahal (lagar) and Thums Up (stronger version of coke-a-cola). The menu is huge so I look forward to my next visit to try some additional items. Food & service was amazing. A full menu of delicious options and a clean, comfortable atmosphere. I come eat here every time I fly to STL for work.

Wow, this was my 2nd time to Persis Indian Grill (after many years) and I left feeling just as pleased, if not better! It is NOT a fabrication: Persis makes the BEST garlic naan bread I have EVER had! There is loads of garlicky deliciousness and it tastes so wonderful with the rice and dishes. The food was delightful and had great portions. Also, is this the largest beer I've ever consumed in one sitting?! Perhaps. Thanks, Persis! I'll be back (and sooner, next time!) for more. PS they are going through renovations right now but still make sure to host an enjoyable atmosphere and excellent service despite the temporary seating area. Support your local businesses!

Nice people and great food. We have been coming here since the name changed and long before that. My only issue is that they do not havea chicken korma on the menu. I have always eaten in, and it's a pretty clean place with plenty of parking. I REALLY enjoy the breakfast dosa - served after 10am on Friday and Saturdays. It is as long as the table, and very flavorful. My other favorite is the tikka masala. Best Indian restaurant within 20 miles.

I was hopeful that they were possibly just very busy at that moment. The parking lot is shared with several other businesses located in this plaza. There is disabled parking in front of the business, but the ramp is in front of Sauce on the Side next door. As I entered this casual spot, they were very busy on this Saturday night. You can place your order online or at the walk up counter. There were several people in front of me, but the line moved fast. The menu is on the board behind the counter and you can see some of the fresh items displayed. There are some tables inside the restaurant if you decide to stay. It seems that the majority of the people ordered takeout. I ordered the onion pakoda, which is similar to onion straws, and it was a huge serving, enough for 2-4 people. It was served warm and crispy. The onions were sweet and the fried batter had good flavor. I tried the weekend special, which were 3 vegetarian choices out of 5-6: Palak Paneer, Paneer Butter Masala and Eggplant curry. Rice or naan does not come with it. It costs extra. The garlic naan was fresh and flavorful. The Palak Paneer was adequate, mildly spiced, and about what I expected. The paneer butter masala was well-spiced and had a slight capsaicin kick. The eggplant curry was absolutely delicious and rather spicy. I'm glad I had a drink close by. This was a very good value as I had enough leftover for another meal.

Good Atmosphere, but Not the Best Option for Families with Young Children…read more We visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch after it was highly recommended by a good friend, so we were excited to finally give it a try. Upon arriving, the restaurant made a good first impression. The atmosphere was what you would expect from a typical Indian restaurant, with traditional décor and a welcoming ambiance. We were seated promptly, which was appreciated, especially since we were dining with our 7-year-old son. Near the entrance, there is a large bar stocked with a wide variety of liquors, and an HD television playing Indian music videos, which added to the overall dining experience. Unfortunately, our experience with the service was somewhat disappointing. Our server came across as uninterested and lacked the friendliness and attentiveness that can make a dining experience more enjoyable. While the service wasn't necessarily bad, it didn't feel particularly welcoming. We decided to overlook that and focus on the food, hoping that would make up for it. Since our son loves butter chicken and it's typically our go-to dish whenever we visit an Indian restaurant, we ordered a butter chicken for him. For ourselves, we ordered the Punjab Samosa, Lamb Biryani, Tandoori Chicken, and two orders of Garlic Naan. Everything arrived in a reasonable amount of time. One thing worth noting for families with young children is the spice level. We were asked to select a spice level on a scale of 1 to 5. Because our son is sensitive to spicy foods, we asked if a spice level of 0 was available. We were told that the mildest option was level 1, so that's what we selected. My wife and I found the spice level perfectly manageable and enjoyable, but it was still too spicy for our son. Parents dining with younger children may want to keep this in mind when ordering. Overall, while the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and the food was decent, the combination of the underwhelming service and the inability to accommodate a truly mild spice level for children left us somewhat disappointed. Based on our experience, we will likely explore other options the next time we're craving Indian food, particularly restaurants that offer more flexibility for families with young kids.

This is a delicious sit-down, full-service restaurant for Wildwood to have. We throughly enjoyed the Tandoori Chicken and the Paneer Tikka Masala. Mint & Martini has a full bar with an emphasis on allocated bourbon. The atmosphere is upscale with modern décor. There's a very nice patio with an outdoor bar perfect for summertime and will be even better when the weather is less hot during Spring and Fall. If you're a bourbon enthusiast, you'll appreciate their impressive selection of allocated bottles. However, their pricing could use some improvement. The bottles are priced on the high side, and I don't like that they use two different pricing models. If you order online, you'll pay more than if you call in or order in person, so it's worth knowing before you place an order. Despite that pricing concern, the quality of the food keeps me coming back regularly. If they addressed the pricing inconsistencies, this place would be even better
