After communicating with Autumn via IG I went to the website and made an appointment a few weeks later. I have yet to enter the facility as I had a medical emergency and had to reschedule my appointment. With that said the owner, Autumn, was very understanding and extremely helpful. My skin challenges did not suddenly disappear and I needed an s.o.s. before a coming birthday. Autumn gave me an over the phone consultation and suggested products to help me take better care of my skin by asking a few questions and looking at photos of what my skin challenges were. The recommended products are reasonably priced which is a relief. I felt and feel supported, re-assured, and hopeful. I pick up the products tomorrow and will soon receive the healthy skin cleansing cloth form Beautiiful.Co in the mail; the cloth is to be used with the cleanser and is meant to cause less friction when washing. I look forward to see how the cloth can help because although I try to be gentle, I can be a bit heavy handed when I wash my face. Ms. Jackie was a consummate professional, the wax was quick and not painful like I expected. It was my first time and I had a lot of hair-all of the hair-but it went well. I was guided and I felt comfortable and safe. That's central for me. Quite honestly, that's how you need to feel when you have your most private of parts -all out. You don't want to feel like anyone is judging you or going to talk bout the fact that you pulled with a forest between your legs, when you leave . I was also educated on exfoliation for skin care and ingrown avoidance. ALL of my friends who get waxed have never told me about this part. It's important to be educated about your skin to maintain and retain the benefit of your service. When asked to turn on the air conditioner, they literally turned it on and off right away. It's was weird. I wanted to do SNS but they don't offer that here. Usually gel manicure costs $35 but they charged me $10 to take my SNS powder off.
