I am so happy that I decided to go with Daniela for my first microblading experience. I was so confused how to get into the building, eventually found the space (in a super adorable and funky we work space!) and got to chatting with Daniela right away! She assured me that she was in good hands and had a great sense of humor when she looked at me and goes "oh yes, you need this.. you have no brows!" (super blonde and thin). She assured me that I would be absolutely fine and it will look intense at the beginning, but will fade and will come back for a touch up. She numbed my brows and discussed the aftercare. After the brows were numbing, she measured my shape and penciled in what it would look like. I had shown her a picture of what I wanted, and she went above and beyond! Then, she got to work. I won't lie and say it doesn't hurt, because it does. It's more of a deep scratching that stings a little, but she stops and rubs in the pigment, then numbs again for a second (maybe third) pass. Daniela's eye for detail is so strong and extremely crucial given that eyebrows are the anchor of your face :) At first I was taken back by how the eyebrows looked, but it is now five days later and I am SO happy! So this is what a great micro-blading job is like! I had gotten my eyebrows micro-bladed about two years ago but was not super pleased with the product. When i saw a groupon deal for micro-blading, i decided to give it another shot. Making an appointment online was super easy and seeing how Daniela is a busy lady, I had to book my session a few weeks in advance. Upon first glance, she could tell that I had my eyebrows micro-bladed before and because they were uneven, she informed me early on that my eyebrows won't be completely even but that she could get them to be very close.The first thing she did was clean the brow area and applied numbing cream for 15 minutes. During those 15 minutes, I let her know how thick I wanted my brows and afterwards, she drew out the shape and thickness she planned on doing and she got it right on the first shot. How did she know?! She also explained to me that I would have to come back for a touch up in order to fill in missing spaces in my brows and that today, she would mostly be working on the shape so that I would have to be patient in order to get the results I want. i would also have to be aware that over the course of the next 5 days or so, my brow area might be irritated and start scabbing over and warned me to stay away from any brow gels or from putting eye shadow on my brows. And then it was time for me to get my dream brows! i laid down and because my eyes were closed the whole time, i was unable to see the whole process but it definitely did not hurt as much as i thought it would. It took around 45 minutes I would say but every time she cut into my brow area, it felt like a light scratch. it did start to hurt a little more towards the end but it was definitely bearable.When it was done, I was so pleased with the final product. It was a bit too dark but Daniela let me know that it would start to lighten up over the course of a month. i scheduled my retouch and I was off to show off my new brows! read more

If you're thinking about microblading RUN, don't walk to Daniela. She is a true professional with an eye for beauty. Before her, my makeup routine took way too long because of my eyebrows--I had no hair growing at the end of one of them because of a birthmark, so I had to essentially trace then fill in the whole thing. Half the time I still ended up displeased with the results. I took a chance and went to Daniela, and it was a game changer. The first appointment took longer since she had to create something that wasn't there, and the follow up appointment was just a touch up. Even after the first appointment, I knew I had made a good call. YES it hurts, but it was expected, and it's bearable. She makes a point to keep applying numbing cream so after a while you don't feel anything. I have oily skin, so I will likely be back in the next 6 months or so. She was super sweet. Unfortunately I was not as satisfied with the work nor the lack of interest when I followed up to express my feelings about what I did not like. All she insisted on was that microblading takes time to lighten which was not my issue because I waited plenty enough time (almost 5 months) before calling. I wanted to believe it was just part of the healing and they would lighten. By no means did I expect a miracle solution from calling but atleast ask what it was I did not like so she could prevent other clients from going through a similar issue in the future. The strokes were very much too dark and thick. The end results looked more like dark shaded block eyebrows rather than microbladed strokes. They were not well structured to my face and gave off an angry bird like appearance. I've had another lady initially try to correct the previous work but due to how harsh the microblading was done I had no other choice but to look into removal. I am now currently on my 4th Pico Laser removal session as a result. Those working on the removal could not even believe the work on my brows was considered microblading. I will try to provide pictures of what they previously looked like. Long story short, if you're looking for someone that tailors to your specifics needs when it comes to your face and the filling and shaping, perhaps you might want to visit somewhere else. read more

I had my eyebrows done by Daniela this morning and she did a great job! She was very thorough and detail oriented. She showed me the sterile blade and wore gloves during my procedure. As far as the procedure went I legitimately didn't feel a thing- I believe it's far more painful getting your brows waxed opposed to getting them microbladed. I got myself worked up over nothing! I am horrified with Daniela's work on my eyebrows. If you are looking for a legitimate microblading artist please stay far away from here. Not only are my eyebrows uneven, she made the front part of my left eyebrow look huge. Basically it looks like a big block/rectangle at the front with an arch at the back. She also didn't match the correct color with my skin tone. I am fair skinned and she gave me a dark black color. I am now trying to remove the eyebrow ink with laser and the ink has turned red. This is the cheapest and most unprofessional place. She works out of someone else's store. I hope that the rest of my laser sessions go well and the ink will be completely gone. She clearly has no idea what she is doing. When you go home with your eyebrows and as they heal, you will feel like they are two big blobs of ink on your face instead of fine strokes. This has been such a nightmare and I feel like my face has been ruined. I called to ask what type of ink she uses and she said "semi-permanent." REALLY?! NO SHIT SHERLOCK. I wanted to know the brand so I can make sure I use the right laser to remove them completely. I learned my lesson big time. I should have never used a service off of Groupon. BEWARE!!! read more
