I am not an avid wine drinker like many I know, but I am an avid person who appreciates unique products and great customer service. It's not everyday that they can process things in a timely manner so fast, but the staff and team helped me out greatly. Michael even personally cut out the unique shape of the label like a skilled surgeon to meet my needs. (it was unique per my request) I ended up getting 2 custom labeled bottles of wine and a pine box to present them in. It surely will be a unique gift that will not be expected. I ordered from Personal wine 1/31/2022. I not only spent over 2,000 worth of wine for a party but requested overnight shipping. I received the items on 2/7/2022 AFTER I needed the wine and liquor for a party and got them personalized. They advised me on Thursday the 3rd which is when the shipment should have been here that they had gotten an email on Monday that fed-ex was having issues with deliveries. If the company would have let me know on Monday that fed ex was having issues with deliveries I would have cancelled the order and went elsewhere to spend the money. Now, you ask what the company did.. they refunded me the money for shipping.. That was ALL! I had to then go and get another 2,000 worth of liquor for a party on Saturday. This is the email that was sent to me " * please note that "Standard" shipments are not guaranteed but Priority and Expedited shipments are. Recently purchased a "engraved" bottle of gin from this company. When it arrived it simply looked as though they printed my message on the bottle. There explanation was that they can only engrave 1mm and then hand paint it.. well, if you know how deep 1mm is it will always look and feel as though it is printed on only.. This is a place where wine lovers go for a glass or two and relax and have some conversation. They have a nice variety of bottles and truly believe a wine expert could find a few that they love. The seating consists of over sized leather chairs and many leather sofas. They have a bar area and one really long table perfect for large parties or tastings. This place has cement floors and walls lined with bottles. No one expects you to arrive in a suit or anything stuff like that. This is a come as you are sort of place. The only prerequisite is that you like wine and are of legal drinking age. The only criticism I have is that the templates don't necessarily align with the corresponding event--I picked a label for her birthday that was actually under 'Valentine's Day'--but it was easily remedied by a few font changes and so forth. I ordered some custom inscribed wine glasses and was disappointed. The etching was so faint I could barely see it. The font and logos were also very small and badly proportioned. Dealing with Franco at customer service was like speaking with a 5 year old, he didn't listen and just kept repeating what he was trained to say, constantly talking over me and in denial. I didn't feel that the quality or design was worth the cost. The best part was after I told franco the product did not measure up to what was promised he did offer me a discount on future orders ? I never received any email or text confirmations of my order status (I had to keep going back to their site to check). When I called the phone number a few times I got a "homestyle" answering machine.
