They did exactly what I asked them to do! Fantastic job!
    Brett J.

This business is awesome!! What a great way to make that something special and unique for any occasion! I placed an order on line... talked through chat with a representative... up loaded what I wanted it to look like and I was under way. They sent me back a proof just a day later... I approved it and paid (all on line)... and in just a couple of days I was picking up my special surprise for my wife's and my 10 year anniversary. They were friendly, did the work exactly to my specifications and were quick! I will definitely remember this and us them again!

Great mural collage on the wall of many individual wine labels.

I am not an avid wine drinker like many I know, but I am an avid person who appreciates unique products and great customer service. I previously learned about Personal Wine at a local charity event where they had custom engraved wine bottles as gifts to help raise money for the charity; knowing this, it planted a seed in my mind to give them a try. Recently, while in a crush of thoughts and ideas to get a gift I remembered Personal Wine. Committing to using them for my inspired gift needs, I decided that I wanted a custom label printed on two nice bottles of wine. So, I went to the website.... and it seems that since the website was far too simple for me to understand [self-deprecating humor and honesty so you can laugh]... then I simply called them so I could speak about options. In a short timely manner I spoke with their customer service and I was placed in contact with Michael and his customer service focus was a great relief and helped me sort out my thoughts for the logo, design, capabilities they have and much much more. In the end and in the perfect storm of timing, I was able to get them what they needed and they were able to get me a perfect product by days end. It's not everyday that they can process things in a timely manner so fast, but the staff and team helped me out greatly. Michael even personally cut out the unique shape of the label like a skilled surgeon to meet my needs. (it was unique per my request) I ended up getting 2 custom labeled bottles of wine and a pine box to present them in. It surely will be a unique gift that will not be expected. If you are looking for a great gift that displays your personal style, I would try Personal Wine as they can pretty much match your wants and needs for gifts. Remember they are local, but they do deliver around the United States (read the website for details). Additionally, I learned that they are also available for "venue" opportunities if you would like to have a private event, wine tasting, meeting space, etc. so just contact them for details. The space is really classic, comforting, and reminiscent of old school "speak easy" lounges with the great oak tables and comfortable leather seating. Personal wine deserves the 5-Star rating for helping me meet all my gift needs when I needed it most.

Personalized bottle of wine for my maid of honor!

Wonderful service and helpful staff. This was my first time ordering something like this and everything worked out perfectly! I needed a personalized bottle for a maid of honor on the fly because she was going out of town. They made that happen and she was super excited!

The labels came out perfectly, they do beautiful work. I love the wine and the prices! I'm always happy to see employees that are knowledgeable about what they sell, I'm in love with the block 50 chard they introduced me to. Thanks, Paul!

My friend gets the giggles after a few glasses of Pinot Grigio, so she came up with a name (Pinot Giglio) as an inside joke, and voila!

Very Disappointing Experience…read more I was really looking forward to The Golden Girls pop-up at Wanderlust Wine Company. Unfortunately, the experience was nothing like what I had seen from the pop-ups in other cities. The biggest disappointment was how little there actually was to the experience. The kitchen table wasn't even there. The girls famously gathered around that table eating cheesecake. There were no cheesecake props, which seemed like an obvious and essential part of The Golden Girls experience. Blanche's bedroom was completely outside in a completely different building, which made the whole setup feel disconnected. Even the wall phone, which was supposed to have the girls talking did not provide the experience I had seen from Instagram reels from other cities. Then came the cocktails. At $16 each, I expected them to at least be made correctly. My Blanche Devereaux cocktail was made with club soda instead of Sprite. Club soda tastes like Alka-Seltzer. I had to ask for a different drink. The second cocktail, The Dorothy, was made with Prosecco and unfortunately wasn't good either. Even the one lady sitting at this isolated bar with me said her drink was bad too. They double charged me. Which is another major issue. My ticket was $23.34 including taxes and fees and the complimentary drink was supposed to be included, with only a one-cent charge when I arrived. Instead, I was charged an additional $23.08, including $11.54 for the drink that was supposed to be included in the ticket price. Is there an explanation? Will this be corrected? My credit card company has already been notified. But what a hassle I have to go through. Just scan my QR code, and don't charge me .01 cent. I paid my ticket and "free" drink. Also as a solo guest, I was also extremely uncomfortable with where I was seated. I was placed away from everyone else at a very narrow bar along the wall, completely isolated from the rest of the group. Honestly, it felt like being sent to the kids' table at Thanksgiving--off in another room away from the adults. It was humiliating and made an already disappointing experience even worse. The entire experience amounted to roughly 15 minutes of taking a few pictures, drinking a poorly made cocktail, and leaving. For what I paid and what was advertised, I expected something much more immersive and fun. I couldn't wait to leave. Thank God I didn't pay for parking. I'm extremely disappointed. I went in excited to celebrate one of my favorite shows and left feeling like I had wasted my time and money. Based on this experience, I would not return to Wanderlust Wine Company.

Service - we have been here about 4-5 times, but service has never been too great or too friendly. The bar on the beer side is always pleasant but the tasting bar side always has a bit of a tiny rude vibe - and I don't mention it ever but I'm in the wine industry and we don't see this normally. Also tonight we were asked to move to a different table as they didn't prepare for a Harry Potter event ahead of time just as we settled in after a rough day (and our young pup finally chilled out). It felt we were being pushed out and the other table was by the window/door that was glass so I was cold. My senior mom was cold after we had found a great spot that was warm for her. Live music tonight was also quite off - I wouldn't suggest this place anymore. I'm not sure if in the last year it has gone down hill but it's no longer worth the drive for a mediocre experience. They gave many potential beautiful spaces but they don't utilize them, nor update them, so the vibe is just outdated. No music on the speakers can be heard when there isn't live music. So sorry to not write the best review here but it's honest.

We came as part of a larger tour across multiple Driftwood area wineries with reservations for their tastings. They have a set tasting menu and a staff member will guide you through each of the pours with explanations of the flavor profiles. On our last visit it was a mix of whites, reds and a sweet wine at the end. The pours are generous and all their wines have tasted great. You can order some snacks like a charcuterie plate on the side. The space is beautiful and I've heard they have a venue on the estate for hosting parties or weddings. Luckily my sister had the reservation email to show them because the girl just kept repeating the same thing until someone senior came by to help us. The wine was tasty but the tasting itself was only moderately enjoyable. The main reason was the tasting was 30-40 minutes long and we just had to stand at a counter. We couldn't order food at the counter either. We are used to tastings being at a table where we do the tasting, order bottles we enjoyed while noshing on food from the menu. Standing for 40 minutes at a counter was not expected or enjoyable. One of our family members has a disability and is unable to stand that long so he and my husband sat outside while the ladies did the wine tasting inside at the counter. It was really disappointing as the expectation was a nice afternoon at the winery with the group and it ended up being two separate groups and standing the whole time at a counter wasn't enjoyable. The wine was good. We brought two bottles home. The experience left a lot to be desired.

All the wines are made from 100% Texas grown grapes by a Texas native, Randy Hester (from Houston maybe?), who started as an intern at Cakebread Cellars in Napa. If you're driving to Fredericksburg or Georgetown for your wine membership pick ups, I highly recommend going in for a tasting here. I'd be surprised if you didn't decide to switch. They also have great member events pretty regularly. The atmosphere inside is very relaxed. It's like a little cool oasis (especially during the summer). Really, besides the wine, which speaks for itself, the staff make this place. They're knowledgeable and they all are pretty passionate about the wine. Parking is easy most days and the Yard offers some options for food that you can have brought in to you (or you can grab and bring in) or order a cheese board with your wine.
