On the 8-session monthly plan, my unused credits were deleted each month despite being told they would roll over, and booking was consistently difficult both online and in person. I switched to an unlimited membership to avoid losing sessions, but my annual plan was canceled a few weeks early. Rooms with odd numbers are also very loud due to a neighboring dance studio. I even overheard employees saying they sip their face towels in the toilet akd then refrigerating them to feel cold and "clean" so beware. Had some extra credits to kill on ClassPass and decided to try out this infrared sauna place. Walked in a little early and got checked in by the friendly staff. Once the private room was ready he took me back there and showed me how to use everything. The room was extremely clean and 3 towels are provided (1 for the ended that is moist). Sauna worked great and had different light therapy you could use if you want. The tv has Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube which is a nice plus to have, especially with the speaker inside the sauna. At the end of 2023, I bought a subscription for a year for $1599. In January 2024, a family emergency that continued for the next year and a half and necessitated me being in Northern California much of the year, made it impossible to use my subscription. I requested an extension in 2025, which I was given, however my family member passed away on July 20, 2025 and the rest of that year was spent taking care of his invalid wife and managing his estate issues. Going to the sauna was the last thing I could've done fast forward to yesterday, March 2, 2026. I went into the Perspire salon personally to see if there was something that could be done with my subscription as I had only used 12 sessions since November 2023. To make a very long story longer, they refuse to do anything, but did say they would give me 10% off if I chose to sign up again. I believe offering me something reasonable would have been the right thing to do. Having been a successful event producer in Los Angeles for over 30 years, I know the importance of customer service and this Perspire location failed miserably. My situation had ridiculously extenuating circumstances! The help given was an offer of two sessions. I agree the staff in the salon was lovely. The ownership, who never communicated with me directly, but through text with the manager, well that is another story. LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT, YOU SAY YOU TRIED TO HELP ME, BUT IT WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME? I WAS OFFERED TWO SESSIONS WHEN I HAD PAID $$1550! First, I'm addicted. I started at 150 degrees and now I'm at 165. Second, the facility is always impeccably clean, I never have to wait, and I love the personalized service/the staff is absolutely wonderful (from knowing my name to knowing which sauna I like). Third, my unsolicited advice to anyone trying it out for the first, or even 10th time: wear loose clothing that's easy to put on after your sauna (I learned the hard way) ... bring your water (I add electrolytes) ... and truly try to tap out for 40 minutes. There is nothing like doing a session here with EarPods in or your Bang & Olufsen of Beats and being removed from this earth for a moment of time in your busy day. Really. Have you just sat and closed your eyes in a bit dry sauna in quiet repose? It's amazing. Your stiffnesses melts away,.. stress, frustration. And that tension from that Prius making you miss the green light,.... All feels like it melts away. This place is in a fabulous spot. It's just so close to everything. Parking, shopping and beautiful SoCal beach weather. I loved my Yelp Elite event. This was an amazing experience. I like to take ear plugs and actually do quiet sauna time. For me,... I've done this enough to know what works best for me. I wrap a pre prepared cooling towel on my next in the back and place another cold wet one across my eyes, face/neck. These help the blood in my head and neck stay much cooler and allows my body to handle hot try heat. There is TV, Music and mood altering led lights you can try. They have FABULOUS cold drinks and snacks you can purchase that help you maximize your time. YES you can enjoy this totally nekkid. Just fold and place clean towels under you before you sit down. The sauna experience itself is great but I feel a little shiested by the company. As long as you keep your membership going your sessions roll over for three months. However, once you cancel your membership you "forfeit" any remaining sessions on your account. My membership accounted for FOUR sessions a month aka once a week. I have a new baby and i found it difficult to commit to the weekly sessions. After three months of falling behind I decided to cancel. I received an email stating I only had two days to catch up on what was left of my membership. I have officially pre paid for sessions that I don't get to use anymore. Also if you miss your appointment they don't just count that as one of your sessions, they actually charge you double. Some things to keep in mind before signing up. read more

So glad Perspire is on ClassPass -- it's really such a steal. The only downside is that they don't have showers or anywhere to clean up, but that's probably why they're able to keep the cost down. They do provide three, clean towels (face, body and floor) each session. This was my first Infared AND single-person sauna experience -- which was pretty amazing. So amazing that I came back as many times as I could before moving out of the area. I LOVE: - how you have the whole sauna / room to yourself. - how you can change the colors inside the sauna (i.e. color therapy -- there's a pamphlet included with more info so you can better choose). - that you have a flat screen TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu are in each room for your entertainment for 40ish mins -- whaaaat?? THAT'S luxury! - that there is cold, filtered water on tap in the lobby (snacks also for purchase if you so desire). - great customer service. - very cool, clean design. - the amount of time you get in the sauna. - the heat is not required to be so high because the Infared is able to penetrate 3 inches into your body = more effective. - there are several locations around Orange County. - opens early and closes late. Let me start with.. this has nothing to do with services offered, the sauna experience is awesome. I had been a class-package membership customer with Perspire for a couple months but decided to cancel my membership because I wasn't using the 4 sessions/month. Last week, I had called ahead of time and asked if I could bring my puppy to my session with me. I was told yes and so I brought her. After only 2 minutes in the sauna, my puppy was crying (she didn't like the glass between us) and in efforts to not let her cries ruin other customer experiences, I decided to leave. If I was another paying patron, I wouldn't want to hear puppy cries during my relaxing sauna session. Out of respect for others, I chose to leave. My sister-in-law had gifted me a gift card for a couple sessions for my birthday and I had forgotten the GC at home. When I was leaving my sauna session, I asked the manager and receptionist "can you please allow me to run home and call you with the GC information? I authorize you to charge my personal CC if you dont hear back from me, but you will. I've been a long time customer here and this would help me out" The "new manager" (as the front desk calls her) told me no and I needed to pay full price for my session. She charged me FULL PRICE for 2 minutes in the sauna which is FORTY DOLLARS $40. If you want to talk about customer service / customer experience, this is not the place for you. I am appalled they would not allow me to get my GC at home to pay. I am a good patron and would never have left them without pay for my session. I won't be back. I plan to use my gift card at another location who actually values and prioritizes their customers experience. This was a terrible experience for me and I wasn't asking for anything free. Called in to make an appointment and was denied of doing so because of the incident that I had in Laguna Niguel. I had be burned by one of the infrared machines and told the front desk what had happened. They did not offer any type of ointment, bandage or assistance whatsoever. This is outrageous and the owner apparently owns this location and is banning me from using the studio because of their wrongdoings! read more

Good sweat!! I was given a gift certificate for a session at the Perspire location in Dana Point. I arrived for my sauna session and was warmly greeted by the staff. After checking in I was escorted to my private sauna room. It was advised that I have water to drink while in my session and I forgot to bring a water bottle, I purchased one and it was a reasonable price of $3 for a very large bottle of very good water, ph balanced. There are about 10 private rooms in this location. The first thing I noticed when walking down the hall and into my private room was how clean this Perspire location was and how professional the staff was. The sauna is warmed by a infra red heating system which is so much better than the sauna's you find in gyms. In addition to the infrared heating system you have a choice if different color light therapies and I selected the red light therapy and the green light therapy. I was instructed on how to control the heat level, and the TV Screen in my private studio. The therapist programed the sauna to maintain a temperature of 150 degrees which I felt was just the right temperature for my first visit. On this first visit when I was seated inside the sauna I watched a 5 minute presentation of the different controls in the sauna and then selected a music channel on YouTube to lie down and relax during my session. In addition to the YouTube channel there is Netflix also available to watch during your 40 minute session. As it said in the 5 minute video it took about 10 minutes into the session for me to develop a sweat, which continued throughout the session. After the session I felt relaxed and even more so after I got home. Not being able to go to my gym for about one year and then not using the sauna there, I was glad to find Perspire. I realized how much I missed the feel good sensation of a sauna and with Perspire I get that with a very clean and comfortable environment. I tried out Perspire in Dana Point because of a promotion they had going on, and I have to say I was very impressed. The staff is friendly and professional, and the facility itself is clean with awesome amenities. When you walk into your room, there's a chair in the corner for your clothes, a small eucalyptus face towel, and a TV against the wall with Netflix and Hulu, which is awesome (you can take the remote with you into the sauna). In your private room, there's a smaller glass room (the sauna room) with another clean, full-sized towel and face towel on the bench. Once you go in, you can set your temperature via the control panel on the wall, and choose what kind of infrared lighting you want (they have several colors to choose from, all with different purported benefits - I went with green and red). My session was for 40 minutes and honestly, it was a cathartic experience that left me feeling rejuvenated right after. Personally, I'd recommend doing your session toward the end of the day if possible, because it did make me feel tired a few hours later and I slept like a baby that night. My wife said my skin looked better the next day too. After the session I took some time to review actual peer-reviewed research on the benefits of saunas, and the evidence for positive health effects is pretty strong (definitely not pseudoscience like some other practices I won't mention here). Because of this session, I think my wife and I may actually get a membership to the Perspire location closer to where we live. 100% recommended. read more

I LOVE saunas and these types of sauna/spa establishments. I was recently able to try out Perspire Sauna Studio in Dana Point and needless to say, I am hooked. I loved that they are really sanitary and clean. From the moment I stepped in to the establishment, I noticed how cleanly they are. They are also really friendly and welcoming. I love that you are in your own little sauna room and you can customize everything from the lighting to the temperature inside the room. They even have a TV where you can watch Netflix/Hulu and there is a speaker immediately above the room so you can hear everything. I also loved that they provided a cold, wet towel at the end that's infused with eucalyptus to cool off. I loved sweating out all the toxins and I felt so much better afterward. This is an awesome sauna studio. There are several private rooms, with large infrared saunas (you can sit or lay down). Each room has a crisp white cool face towel, body towel & floor mat. There are Smart TV's in each room with Netflix, etc. You can adjust the temperature (150 F to 170 F) and colored lights inside the sauna to your liking. It is super modern and clean and feels like a treat to go. They do allow you go in with one other person; however they charge you *both* full price. I wish they would only charge a small amount for additional towel service though because you're still only using one room, leaving the other rooms open for other guests. All in all, very great experience & the staff is super kind. read more

Incredible. We didn't expect much other than relaxation but... we both felt AMAZING afterwards. I did the blue light and slept like a baby. My boyfriend did all the lights and was energized that night and then restful the next day. It's just fantastic... We also didn't feel yucky and sweaty after at all... even though we sweat! Randomly found Perspire looking for saunas in my area and was thrilled to find out they had unlimited memberships as the sauna was my favorite part of being a member at Sports Club LA/Equinox - only these saunas are actually way better, as they are individual sized, infrared, and they also have red light therapy in each sauna - which provides a much deeper detox than traditional saunas you typically find at a gym. After my first session, some residual join stiffness I had from a medication completely went away, to the point I wondered what sort of magic they had going on in the saunas. The saunas are very clean and modern (they even have TVs in each sauna with Hulu, Netflix, and Prime Video), the staff is friendly and very helpful, and scheduling is easy via their app or calling in. They also have 5 other locations (and growing) in Orange County, which is great in case one is full or I happen to be near another one but this location has been great so far and the closest to home. I think their pricing is very reasonable whether you buy individual sessions or a membership - I decided on the unlimited one since I go in about 5-6 times a week (and never have a problem finding a slot). Highly recommend Perspire and the Dana Point location - your body will thank you for the great experience. read more

Big fan of infrared sauna and I've used both the Dana Point and LAGUNA NIGUEL perspire locations with transformative results. Even in this age of the pandemic, I feel safe there, as all the proper procedures are being followed, including mask wearing. I never have to wait for my scheduled appointment, despite the facility being quite popular. I like to go on Mondays to detox the weekend away and kick off a great week.
