I had a good sweat going on during my session. Afterward, the eucalyptus cold towel was a nice touch and a nice way to cool down. I will likely go back. Then when I laid face up, she put a wet warm towel on my face and by the end of it, it was cold and felt like gross wet towel on my face. Also that evening, I had red bumps all over my face. And she completely fucked up my neck. She had no idea where trigger points in my neck were either and was just pushing way too hard on all the wrong spots. It was not great. The sauna can fit two people and you could get on YouTube and play whatever music you like. Which was nice. But I don't see the benefit in the sauna at all. Very odd. Communication regarding the freight claim was inconsistent, follow-up was slow, and at times I had to repeatedly reach out for updates after being told tickets would be submitted. They only chose to respond after I contacted my credit card company. Sunlighten eventually offered partial compensation instead of panel replacement, which we accepted to avoid having to disassemble the unit ourselves. However, even after the resolution, communication dropped off entirely. Small details that were promised as part of the resolution were incomplete, which unfortunately reinforced the feeling that customer support became less responsive once the sale was finalized. I still believe the product itself is high quality, but based on my experience, prospective buyers should be aware that if there is a delivery or freight issue, the resolution process may require persistence and patience.

They then reduced to $640 because I threw a fit. I paid over $8,300.00 for the unit and it has been very gently used and to be honest somewhat glitchy at best for how infrequent it gets used. I am hesitant to purchase a new power box, one out of principle and two because I am assuming I will have to install it myself. I also wonder what will be next? The only positive was Janae the customer service rep was very helpful, responsive and polite. I also looked at other manufacturers but was not impressed with the reviews. Sunlighten sauna's had a solid reputation and it is backed by the medical community. The health benefits and the design behind the sauna sold me. No, they are not cheap but financing is available and depending on when you buy, they have decent sales. (Remember, you get what you pay for) just sayin... I decided to go with the 1 person "Signature" birch wood sauna and LOVE IT! It takes about 45 mins to heat up to 115-120 during colder months and quicker in warmer months. *Read the recommended temps and times. Customer service is okay. I dealt with all men...would have liked a mixed group of employees. My sauna was delivered a few weeks after I ordered it. *Putting it together from unboxing to completely assembled: total time 3 hours. Took 3 of us. *Videos they send via email were useless! Even the ones I googled stunk! *The instructions in the box, worse than IKEA. **I definitely suggest dedicating a separate circuit breaker just for your sauna. I hired my favorite electrician to do it and also had him put in the special outlet required to run your infrared sauna efficiently. ***And here is the "million dollar" answer to the question you are all waiting for: NO, it does not use a lot of electricity to heat up/use. I have tracked it myself. Tops is 3 kilowatts. Pennies people. This girl also suggests adding weather stripping around the entire door. You can feel the draft. It will help heat it up quicker. This was on a Friday, according to Clint, sales guy, the order shipped first thing Saturday morning despite notification saying it would be 10-14 business days and that since we had not cancelled soon enough that we would be charged $1200 in shipping charges to return the sauna. Clint continued to lie about the situation saying the cancellation came days after the order despite timestamps on the email proving otherwise. Clint then brought his manager into the situation who assured me he would take care of the issue and handle the refund and return. A week later a shipping company reaches out to schedule delivery of the sauna, to which I had to work with them to get the delivery cancelled and now here I am still waiting on a refund which will probably never come. The massage table was heated and comfortable. The area was quiet on a Saturday afternoon. They were able to work me in at the last minute (I had an appointment that was canceled at a different place). It was so kind of them to accommodate me at the last minute. I really wanted a massage, and Alyssa provided an amazing one! They were also running a special promotion for the month, and they had a special deal for first time appointments on yelp. The only negative is the lotion. It was very greasy and unscented. She even gave me a hot towel at the end to wipe it off, but it was not effective. I felt like I needed to shower it off. Also the unscented lotion might be great for those with allergies, but I would have preferred an aromatherapy type scent. Otherwise, great experience.
