Everything came out very burnt and crispy. I suspect that is their style of BBQ. It worked for some things and less so for others... My favorite was the tri-tip. It worked well with the char on the outside but the meat still retained its tenderness. It was very flavorful. Some of the wings were good -- crispy on the outside, but other wings were too dry. Same with the ribs. I was initially excited for this, but as I continued eating, found that some of the ribs had really dried out. I thought that the collards worked well with the super charred bacon bits, and the mac and cheese was very creamy. However, the corn bread was a bit dry, which is a shame, because I thought that the cheese might have saved it with a bit more moisture. Overall, I might come back to try different options -- and probably stay with things with the tri-tip, but avoid the other BBQ meats.

This is a great spot for a quick bite, a group meal, a gathering of friends, a post-beach meal, if you have little kids.
