A great spot for a fresh, flavorful meal just off the Venice Boardwalk. I had the ceviche bowl with an Inca Kola--huge, beautiful pieces of very fresh fish that were tasty and plentiful. Everything is made to order with fresh, healthy ingredients, and each dish feels like a small trip to Peru. It looked so good--great presentation. The restaurant is tucked inside the charming Scandinavian looking court, so you'll need to step into the courtyard to find it. The ambiance is calm and inviting, with minimal but lovely outdoor seating that's perfect for a relaxing lunch or snack near the beach. Service was excellent--fast, friendly, and very welcoming. Not the cheapest option, but the quality more than makes up for it. One of the best food finds near the Venice Boardwalk.

If you're looking for a fresher meal while on the Venice Boardwalk, Peruvian Bowl is a great option! It's hidden inside the adorable Gingerbread Court, so you'll need to enter the cute courtyard area first. My friend and I stopped in while walking the boardwalk over the weekend and were happy with everything we had! We loved the outdoor seating, though minimal, and found it really relaxing and nice. I was excited the Peruvian Style Poke-Bowls lived up to the hype for us. The Ceviche Bowl has big chunks of marinated fish which were tasty and that "cancha" corn adds such a fun crunch to the dish! It was great with a mashed sweet potato base keeping it unique. I also had to try the Causa because it's a dish I've never had before! A Peruvian tangy cold, potato dish, it was fun for me and I loved it. The Causa here has a creamy chicken salad on top of the mashed potato base and is topped with guacamole. It was legit perfect beach food. Just the right flavors, invoking just the right feelings to eat looking out on the beautiful Pacific Ocean. There's so much more on the menu I want to try still, great staff and such a nice little area of the Venice Boardwalk - I'll definitely be back! They're open 11am-7pm every day!

There is nothing like food from Peru and Peruvian Bowl offers some great food with the smell and taste of Peru. You will be very happy you went. The place is on the Venice boardwalk so you will need to park at the end of Washington in the lot for the Venice Pier. Walk for just a bit and you will see Peruvian Bowl housed in a cute super mini mall that looks like a gingerbread house. The place is kept ever so clean and it is just so cute. It is not huge. We get our bowls to go. It is very small. There is lovely outdoor seating. The service is great. The staff is fast and friendly. I have not seen it crowed yet, but I bet when summer comes (it is winter as I write) there will be a line to order. the staff knows the food well and can guide you. All of the bowls are great. All are healthy and made to order from fresh ingredients and all of them will take you on a tiny trip to Peru. We love the spicy tuna bowl which is made with diced tuna in sesame sauce, mango, cucumber, sliced avocado, scallions, and edamame. The ingredients are dipped in a spicy mayo. The ceviche bowl is my favorite with chunks of fish marinated in a great sauce, mixed with sliced red onions, corn, cilantro, and 'cancha' corn. All is served on a mashed sweet potato base. They also have fantastic sandwiches. The chicharron is a traditional Peruvian pork sandwich and the bread is great. We also love the Butifarra which is a great ham sandwich. All of them are good. And you can make your own bowl if you want. I find it all to be a tad pricey, actually, quite pricey for what you get, so we will not go a lot, but we will be back.

I'm so happy a good Peruvian restaurant came into the neighborhood! The customer service here is truly amazing. The workers made us feel like we're at home haha. So sweet and accommodating. The food is second to none. I tried the Lomo Bowl. DELICIOUS! Can't wait to come back to try everything else.

The chicken with the green sauce is amazing and the fries are so nice and crispy. The green sauce is just so yummy. The fish tacos are also really good with nice crispy fish. The fried fish tacos were perfectly battered and fried, I liked the onions on top as it helps cut through the friedness of it all. Yucca fries were delish, dip it in the green sauce and it's perfection. The ceviche was fresh and bright. Love the citrusy sauce at the bottom, yum! The corn is not like the regular corn we have at the grocery store. It has a bit more bite to it in terms of texture like it's not soft. Passion fruit juice was absolutely needed after all day on the beach. The cake has swirls of dulce de leche, very tasty. I would come back just for the lomo saltado alone! Service was friendly and fast. They have a few tables inside and a few outside. Right on the Venice boardwalk so if you dine outside, you also get a show with your meal.

The raisins originally confused me but toward the end of the bowl I appreciated the balance they brought. The extra hot sauce in the bottle was addicting. Was originally going to go to cava since that was my go to but I got tired of their falafel which had little to no protein. What brought us in was the happy hour sign. I didn't see the options on the tablet but maybe they remove them 5:50. Anyways it was about $15 after tax which is comparable to other fast casual. You can definitely tell it's a local business with bowls made with love than the corporate slop bowls. My friend lives their chicken and steak.

Lucy started the restaurant with her mother and grandmother, and almost two decades later, she's continuing that family legacy in Los Angeles while celebrating Peruvian traditions and Indigenous cultures. The food was delicious. I tried the yuca with huancaína sauce, chicha morada, lomo saltado, ceviche, pescado a lo Macho and arroz con leche. I also got to try a Peruvian Malbec from Intipalka, which was such a fun discovery. I really appreciated the thought that goes into the restaurant beyond the food as well, including organic and ancestral ingredients and a wine selection that highlights local boutique wineries, Peruvian and Latino wines, and women-owned producers. It's always meaningful to find restaurants where you can taste the food while also learning about the culture, family and people behind it. Definitely worth visiting if you're looking for Peruvian food in Los Angeles and want to support a local Latine-owned business.
