We had an absolutely lovely dining experience here! The food was excellent across the board, and the seafood was truly outstanding. We had Jalea Mixta, Grilled Octopus, Grilled Squid and Crispy Salmon, they were all delicious! The service was wonderfully warm, kind, and attentive from start to finish--Elizabeth was an absolute gem! The food was great; the ambience, not so much. It wasn't bad; just not vibey or anything. I could have been sitting in a high school cafeteria. Kinda meh. Service was also okay; neither great nor terrible. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. However, we appreciated how attractively everything was plated. The creativity of the ceviche mixto in a hollowed-out cantaloupe and the addition of flowers in particular did make all the plates look appetizing. You know the saying, we eat with our eyes first. We enjoyed the oysters, the ceviche mixto and the arroz con mariscos. We would probably return to sample some of the other dishes on their menu. Came here with a group of friends and overall had a good experience! We started with the Papa à la Huancaina, the potatoes were good, though the sauce was served cold. For my main, I got the Lomo Saltado with filet mignion and it was delicious, tender, flavorful, and definitely a highlight. My friends ordered the Huancaína Pasta with lamb and the Bistek a lo Pobre (filet mignion, fried, rice, salad, and a fried egg), and both really enjoyed their dishes. The space is clean and service is good, though it could've been more attentive, it wasn't very busy and had to wait a bit to ask for refills. There's 2-hour metered parking on Washington. We were seated promptly outside and they were able to move us into a table about 30 minutes layer. We got the two person bbq deal and the value was good. It came with 4 types of means - chicken, pork belly, beef, and sausage. It was flavorful and came with 2 dipping sauces that paired well with it. The highlight for me was the lomo saltado - the meat was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The interior had lots of seating and the waiters are very nice and helpful. Best restaurants I've tried in 2026. Lonzo's is the explanation to why Peruvian food is so highly regarded in the world. Every dish is a blend of innovation and a welcoming, home-like familiarity. I get flavors from Chinese food, Spanish food and American food, each unique and distinguishable. But they come together so organically that my only thought was oh this is what Peruvian food is about. Packed with the sizzling heat and punchy spiciness, this is uniquely, unmistakably Peruvian. Pesto quinoa salmon is 10/10. The quinoa soaks up pesto's creaminess so by the time all the protein is gone, it has become almost a desert, flavorful to the last grain. The veggies on the side is miraculously even more amazing than the salmon. The cucumbers are juicy and savory, offering freshness retreat from Salmon and pesto's rich flavor. Oysters are a solid 10/10--the purest expression of ceviche. Lonzo's version bridges ocean and land effortlessly, never compromising either. The acidity tempers the briny intensity while preserving the oyster's pristine freshness. A touch of salsa adds depth and intrigue, layering complexity without overwhelming the core. Everything comes together in perfect harmony, all cradled within that gleaming, natural shell. Lucuma ice cream with crepe is a wonderful way to finish the dinner. It's simple but thoughtful. In a different restaurant, this would have been a vanilla ice cream with Nutella on top, but not at Lonzo's. The ice cream is Peru's national fruit, mangoy flavor but surely not a regular mango ice cream. And drizzled on top is the caramel. There's still lot more on the menu to explore at Lonzo's. As an alumni of CCHS, it's rare I miss any good food spots in Culver. This place was exactly what I was lookin for on a sunny Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. It's slightly bigger than a whole in the wall, quiet, nice ambiance. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. I usually get an Aronld Palmer everywhere I eat lunch or dinner. They didn't serve lemonade so the waitress had made a passion fruit juice blended with unsweetened ice tea, delicious. When seated they bring you small sourdough rounds with a green cilantro sauce. The scallops on a skillet appetizer was an excellent mix of flavor between the baby asparagus, mushrooms and red peppers, the aroma alone was enticing. Then the main corse was Lamb with Pesto pasta. It was fire, right size portions, that lamb was juicy n the plate was the right temperature throughout. The whole meal was perfect. Treat yourself or take a date. Highly recommended. read more

We came here for dinner because my friend loves the ceviche here and I'm glad to say that the ceviche was so good. Super fresh and flavorful. I also loved that the tigers milk came topped with calamari. For my main, I got the arroz con mariscos which was similar to seafood paella but had a more cheesy flavor. It was so good. Super flavorful and they didn't skimp on the seafood portion. My friend got the salmon pesto quinoa which she really enjoyed too. Got takeout from this place and the presentation was 10/10 and the food was a 12/10. I'm still in shock at how good everything was. Personal faves were probably the fish ceviche and the beef anticuchos (grilled hearts), but the shrimp causa we got was also incredibly yummy. The portion for the Aguadito soup was especially ENORMOUS, easily double what I expected to receive. Service here is amazing. Patty was great! Came on Sunday following Thanksgiving. They were having a Black Friday special. We got free drink tastings and the dishes were 15% for dining in! One of new favorite neighborhood restaurants! Lonzo's has been on my bucket list and I was absolutely thrilled I had the opportunity to finally try it. I came here with a friend for dinner time. When we arrived, I was nervous we wouldn't be able to get a table since the restaurant was busy and buzzing with some much energy! You can tell it's a neighborhood favorite. We waited about 10 minutes and were promptly sat by the amazing staff. The restaurant has a family feel to it. While we were there, live music was playing which added to the cozy family feeling. For food, we ordered the Lobster guacamole and chips and the pesto pasta with steak. Everything was absolutely delicious and the flavors were so harmonious. Additionally, quite a few people celebrated their birthdays that day which added to the excitement and happiness feeling of the restaurant. I highly recommend and will come back! read more

I used to live walking distance away, but didn't try Lonzo's until I moved driving distance away. It's worth the drive if you order a few of their dishes. I sent with several friends so we got a good variety of different menu items. The scallops were done perfectly, served sizzling with vegetables, they were a hit with the scallop lovers. The salmon was also very tasty, not overcooked or under seasoned, served with a fresh salad. They are one of the few places in town who serve octopus and they do a good job, it was tender and well seasoned but expensive for the serving. A few dishes missed: the chicken fried rice had dry chicken but great fried rice. The beef tongue was sliced too thin and had no seasoning. My friends loved the caramel flan. read more

This is a small, friendly Peruvian spot in Culver City with great food. We tried the ceviche mixto, the octopus causa, and the parihuela. The ceviche was huge, overflowing with fish, calamari, and shrimp, and very tasty. The causa, which was nicely plated, was also well worth it. The parihuela is a delicious seafood soup that comes in a tomato-based broth. Perfect on its own, but also a great use for any bread that you might still have by that point in the meal (they are a bakery too!). It's on busy Washington Ave., but there's street parking available in the blocks behind the store. Definitely worth a visit. read more

Tried this for the first time and I wish I started coming earlier! This place is such a hidden gem, you would never guess this place serves such high quality flavorful dishes. We came on a Saturday evening and the place was decently filled, we didn't need to wait at all though. We got the Huancaina pasta, tiger's milk, and a seafood rice dish that I forgot the name of. Each dish hit the spot. The seafood was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were all SO GOOD. Honestly, I cannot rave about this place enough. Prices are a bit high, but the quality and expertise are well worth it. Parking is fairly easy, either in front or the surrounding streets. Delicious food! They have lots of indoor seating. One outdoor table if you have a dog or just want to sit outside! We got the filet mignon Lomo saltado and the pesto pasta with lamb chops. The meat was really good quality and cooked to perfection. Dishes are pretty filling as well. They also give you bread while you wait for your food. The bread is light and airy. Perfect so you won't overstuff yourself before your food comes out since it's not as dough-y. Dip it in their aji sauce. Don't be shy to ask for more! So yummy to eat with the meats. read more

Best Leche de Tigre ceviche flavors in town! After another local ceviche place closed, I have been craving proper Peruvian ceviche and we've been coming to Lonzo almost every week since. My favorite dishes are the Ceviche Mixto, Seafood Rice (type of paella) and the Ossobuco. They are also a bakery and we always come home with a sourdough baguette. As of late, Pati has recognized us by our order, but the staff has been friendly and accommodating. This place is easily the best Peruvian food I've had in my life so far. The place is small, but we came late for lunch on a weekday so luckily there weren't a lot of people. The server was quick to take our order and get our waters, and the food came out pretty quickly too. I had the Peruvian Pesto Pasta, and it was amazing. Filet is cooked perfectly, sot and juicy and tender and seasoned well and tasted great when combined with the pesto. There was also a lot of garlic in the sauce which you can never go wrong with. The arroz con mariscos was also amazing; it came with lots of seafood including shrimp, scallops, squid, and clams. Rice was mildly smoky, and cooked with a great wine sauce. Came here on a rainy Tuesday around 3 PM and was seated immediately. We were served complimentary bread with a delicious cilantro sauce, and we ended up ordering the Peruvian Pesto Pasta with Filet Mignon and Arroz Con Mariscos as our entrées. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was so tender, juicy, and flavorful. I would say the filet stood out way more than the noodles. The Arroz Con Mariscos was also good. It was a bit on the salty side, but I really loved the generous amount of seafood they provided. The jumbo shrimp in the middle was a nice touch, but it was slightly overcooked, along with the rice. Other than that, the flavors were all there. Overall, I thought both dishes were full of flavor, each offering a unique and distinct Peruvian taste. There is street parking, which can be easy or difficult depending on the day and time. The interior was a bit small, with fewer than 10 tables. The staff was attentive, but service could be hit or miss. I didn't like that they were mopping the floor right next to our table when there were plenty of other empty tables around us. Upon entering the restaurant it's looks small, but to the left there's a separate section with plenty of tables and seating. We were a party of five and we chose our own table. The server greeted us and gave us the menu along with bread and green sauce. They were very attentive and always checked in on us. I ordered the 8 oz filet mignon (medium) saltado. The meat was perfect and tender, and the fries were good too! I cleaned that plate up!! I also had chicha morada and it was refreshing. This what I mean when I say I love "hidden gems." This modest restaurant packs a punch with amazing food and wonderful service. I had a carb heavy dinner and I went home so happy. Tallarin Saltado with filet mignon (24.96) was as good as the version I had from Rikas in Koreatown. Extra creamy and flavorful. It was reach and satisfying. Arroz con mariscos (28.08) was delicious with so many different types of seafood included. The portion matched the price and it was so delicious. We ended our meal with a flan + chocolate cake combo which was interesting because the textures didn't match, but never the less satisfied our sweet craving at the end of the meal. The shop is small and modest, but the food is rich. I was surprised that something like this sits quietly in Culver City, but anyone who tries this for the first time will be pleasantly surprised. read more

My sister was craving Peruvian ceviche and we stumbled upon this place since it's near our apartment. We walked in on a Sunday night and they were able to sit us right away. The restaurant has an intimate ambiance and the servers were friendly. They do take reservations since it's a small restaurant. It got busy after we got seated but the service was fast. The food were delicious and so flavorful! The presentation was a bonus! They also start you off with complimentary bread with a green dip and it was so good.
