The photos here are of a former location, I guess. This place is very small and not appealing at all from the outside. I surprised my wife by taking her here and when I pulled in the parking lot, I thought she was going to ask for a divorce. Fried yucca appetizer very good and something different. Tasty dipping sauce. They came out hot, which made them even better. My wife had the grilled tuna tacutacu with the yellow pepper sauce. She loved it -- so flavorful! I don't much like tuna, and I'd say it was delicious. I had the lomo saltado. Very very tasty. Great mix of rice, tomatoes, onion, cilantro and beef all deeply marinated. Very good. My only head-scratcher is the huge mound of french fries that came with it. I can get those at BK! If I had to do it again, I'd have asked for plantain chips or fried plantain instead of french fries. French fries were really good, actually, but still had no business on the plate with the delicious lomo saltado. The online menu looks like it hasn't been updated in years. The prices are $5+ higher and the photos are not from this current place. The place is very small and very chill. Staff is friendly. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance -- it's worth a tumble! read more

The food is amazing!! Authentic Peruvian food and the portions are super generous. I recommend the ceviche and the chaufa de mariscos, also the aguadito de pollo. The service was excellent. The lady is super nice and professional. They have recently moved to this new location in Clark Road but somehow our Maps app sent us to the old place in Beneva Road. Don't get confused. We ordered take out, the rice & chicken was very flavourful & the Churrasco was tender with a great chimichurri sauce that complimented the meat, lots of food...they do not skimp! This wonderful local restaurant is my favorite go to. Service is great. Jennifer the owner works the tables as well and open to making suggestions. The food is consistently good. Their prices have gone up a bit but so have most restaurants. Their seafood is delicious no matter how you have it prepared. The portions are very generous. My favorite is Pescado A Lo Macho, Corvina filet in a creamy Peruvian yellow pepper seafood sauce, served with fried yucca and rice. Chupa de Camarone is a creamy, rich soup with generous portion of shrimp & vegetables. Everything I've ever ordered was good. Tacu tacu is another dish to try. It is fried, seasoned white beans mashed and mixed in with rice.it is molded and served with marinated, thinly sliced red onion relish. If you like ceviche they offer a sampler plate. If you have room I recommend their decadent, homemade chocolate cake. It is very rich and dense and needs to be shared. read more

Deceivingly modest looking from outside, indoors this establishment checks all boxes: cheerful welcome and prompt service, comfortable no-fuss seating in a modest but spic-and-span setting and, above all, exceptional and consistently dependable (based on 10 years of visits, going back to the former site on Beneva) cuisine. The dishes, no matter which, are full of flavor and beautifully presented. Among our favorites: all ceviches (perhaps the best in town), the mixed seafood fry (jalea), ají de gallina, all corvina dishes, lomo saltado and lomo a lo macho... and one could go on and on. We ordered takeout from the Peruvian Grill through Uber Eats. We arrived at the restaurant at the confirmed time and were then told we needed to wait an additional 30min, which we couldn't do with three little kids in the car. The restaurant took no responsibility for the delay. We left with no food and were still charged the full amount. We have a family policy not to write bad reviews, but this was theft. read more

I always order the same dish all the time seafood tacu tacu but this time I'm not sure if they have a new cook but the tacu tacu was not seasoned and there was a lot of it and on the seafood, the sauce wasn't thick and the amount of seafood it wasnt what I always get. Hopefully we can order next time and have a great experience. read more

Wife and I ate there for first time in late August 2022. The small space, tucked into a small, mixed-use strip belies its surroundings! Service and food are exceptional! My wife enjoyed the House Corvina entree with fried plantains, yucca, rice and salad. I ordered the Chaufa Mixto, a stir-fry dish with rice, chicken, beef, shrimp, and diced green onions. My wife LOVED the Corvina. My Chaufa dish was probably the best stir-fried dish I've ever had, with no shortage of meats. I also enjoyed one each of their two Peruvian beer offerings, both of which were excellent. We'll return - soon....to try out their Ceviche, and other menu items. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

Not bad...interesting menu and reasonable prices. Very generous portions!. Small intimate dining room lit perhaps too harshly (but older ppl might like that!). Out front parking is tight but add'l parking behind bldg with a separate entrance into restaurant. Service was friendly and helpful. read more

We decided to take a chance on this local place and we are so glad we did. Small restaurant. Nice menu. We started with the house Cabernet which was very good. My husband ordered the chicken and rice and I had the grilled Corvina. Both were fresh and tasty. Service was slow but it was Friday night and the staff did their best. We went here for the 1st time because our visiting niece had the urge for Peruvian food. We were glad we did. The restaurant is a small standalone building that you could easily miss seeing. But inside the staff was very friendly and the food was awesome. Between the 3 of us we ordered the house corvina, chicken & shrimp, and the fish service. All 3 were excellent and had large portions. The price was very reasonable. This is definitely a place we will return. read more
