A friendly young woman helped us first and within a few minutes handed us off to Alyus, who struck the right balance between answering questions without hovering. The whole team, even security, kept things relaxed. The only hiccup was checkout. Only one register was open and from the moment we got there we waited 15 minutes to get serviced. I don't blame her as she was stuck fitting another customer. Eventually, the line grew to 7+ people. Alyus eventually jumped in to speed things up. If it hadn't been my birthday, I probably would've bailed sooner. Seemed short-staffed that day, hopefully not the norm.

I don't wear prescription glasses, so I didn't technically neeeeeeeed them but Abigail was able to squeeze me in for an adjustment before my leave for Ireland, so I would be looking quite distinguished at the airport. I showed up really late to my appointment (bad practice) and she still adjusted my glasses even after I walked through those double doors thirty minutes late. And oh so quickly, at that! It was seriously such a gift to have such an engaging, capable, & gentle person across from me at the desk. Makes me want to support Gentle Monster and its wonderful team all the more!
