I purchased some sunglasses here & changed my mind once I got home. Didn't even take them out of the bag, & brought them back literally the very next day & they told me it is exchange only. They never advised me of this during the purchase or notified me of this in any way shape or form. People change their mind, it's the holidays & I had another idea for that purchase that made more sense. The fact that I cannot return a brand new purchase untouched merchandise makes me thing this place is shady AF. I should have thought twice with my last experience. My wife purchased $400 glasses and a screw came out a month later, we brought them back and were told they don't carry the screw and WE would have to contact the manufacturer... It is one thing not to carry the screw but proper customer care would be to do the ordering for your customer as you sold a defective pair of glasses. Bottom line, never come here if you have a change of mind or would like proper care after your $400-$600 purchase. read more

They didn't have the style in stock but it wasn't a problem for them to order it and get it shipped to me in northern California. I had a pair of prescription glasses made for me here and they do excellent work. The glasses were well made but they were too heavy for my face. I called Meriam about it and she told me their policy is that you get one forgiveness if unhappy. I was thrilled that they were willing to take back the glasses and make me a whole new pair at no extra cost. I spent a lot of time picking out a new frame and Meriam was so sweet and patient about it. I love my new glasses, they are high quality lenses and I see very well with them and they look great. Horrible customer service and overpriced. Why is this store still business? Stopped by at this store last week. After seeing a pair of Ray Ban frames at Lenscrafter, I figured I'd check other places to see if I can get it for less. When I went, the store was empty. The clerk greeted me, informed me of their "special sale" and asked if I need help with anything. Told her what I was looking for and when she couldn't find it, she told she would do search to see if she can order it. Doing good so far. Right before she went to the computer, two customers walked in. She told me to wait. What I thought was going to be a few minutes wait end up being 15-20 minutes while she helped the guaranteed sale. Why I waited is beyond me...should have just left. But I thought maybe I was going to get the frames for a much better price than Lenscrafter. After they made their purchase, she went to the computer to look up frames with the specific color code. When it didn't show up on luxoptic website, she insists that it's either been discontinued or that I have the color code wrong (who does that?). I told her it's on the Ray Ban website. She told me if it's not on luxoptic site then it's not available. She then tries to steer me toward another Ray Ban frames. No need to stay much longer than I already have. I later found out, thanks to a very helpful optician at Optical Universe (review soon to come once I get my glasses!) that the color code I was searching for is an Italian only color and that they would have to order them directly from Ray Ban. read more

I had a great experience here buying prescription glasses! I went in and Tatiana helped me. She was amazing! I explained to her what I was looking for and she showed me a lot of options. She was very honest, knowledgeable, and most importantly patient because I was having a hard time deciding between a couple of pairs. I was expecting 2 weeks for my glasses to get there but they had them in the store within the week! Miriam called me right away to let me know they were ready for pick up! I didn't get the name of the girl that was there when I went to pick them up but she was also great! This place is the best. A few months ago, while looking for a fashionable place to get glasses I stumbled across Lord of Optic in the Topanga Mall. They had a great selection of designer glasses a class above the other places I had visited. However, the reason for this review is to let people know how they went above and beyond. A week before leaving on vacation out of the country, my dog got ahold of my specs and put a few bite marks on the lenses. I called Lord of Optic to see how fast they can get them fixed and how much it might cost. The manager informed me that because I had purchased the highest quality lenses suggested, they would fix them one time at no charge!
