Took their food and bowls but was told they provided bowls, so they gave me back my personal bowls. Wen I returned to picked them up and brought them home, both dogs started coughing. By the next day, their symptoms had become worse. I took them to the veterinarian, where they were diagnosed with Kennel Cough. I contacted Frogs to Dogs to inform them of the situation and was told someone would get back to me. Unfortunately, I have not received a phone call, text, or email addressing my concerns. I understand that kennel cough can sometimes occur even in vaccinated dogs and in boarding environments, but I am disappointed by the lack of communication and follow-up after reporting what happened. They WILL NOT warm up to anyone and especially in their own home. From the moment that Tom walked in they were all about the cuddles and special time with him. When I am gone for extended periods of time its not just a matter of leaving my girls with someone but also leaving my home. I have NEVER felt worried or anxious about either when I knew Tom was on the job. He is incredibly reliable and so detailed about the care he provides. Our trips wouldnt be the same without the periodic texts with the most adorable pictures of our girls when hes there. Tom truly is a godsend, even at the last minute he has accomodated us. Sometimes I think more for the girls than for me :) I have tried a few other people before Tom and even gone the route of daycare. The girls have done ok in each of the situations but they have never been totally fine, with that neither have I. I can honestly say that if it werent for Tom I wouldnt be able to travel at all. I have never found anyone that genuinely cares about my girls as much as I do except for Tom. It shows in the pictures he sends and it shows in how at peace the girls are when he's here.

He kept us posted everyday on how the animals were, MADE A LOG of daily events and even made a cute collage of pictures of the animals. I feel like I was there the whole time with my babies. She had no problems with our home security system, did a great job caring for and cleaning after our cat and even brought in our mail. We have indoor and outdoor cameras as an additional safety precaution and while we didn't watch it on every visit what we did see and hear made us feel so grateful. She was warm and kind to our cat and clearly took the job seriously. My only regret is that we didn't tip more than we did. Everyone at Camp Kitty is incredibly kind, helpful, caring, and accommodating. They genuinely make you feel comfortable and give you peace of mind about leaving your fur babies in their care. You never feel like your cats are simply being "boarded"--you feel that they are being looked after by people who truly care about them. Their level of service is so exceptional that sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming! I was VERY specific online in the profile that I had to create, as well as in person the morning that I dropped him off, that I ONLY wanted the hair around his eyes and butt trimmed. When I arrived to pick him up at 3:30pm that afternoon, after just having a 90 minute full body massage, I was a bit out of it, and was in shock when I saw Dallas. He had been shaved down to his coat!!!! I was rightfully upset and expressed my concerns to the SUPER unprofessional, Manager, on duty! She did not apologize nor refund my money. I went the next day, and showed the SUPER unprofessional attendant, "Deshawn '' and he took photos of Dallas and asked me to "give him a few minutes" so I stepped outside. I came back in and he said that he called "Mia" and she said "you were rude yesterday" and he could not do anything. I was only "rude" AFTER she was blatantly nonchalant with regard to what they DID to my dog. It is WINTER and they (Courtney Fields) took all his fur off and WITHOUT my approval. So much so that his ears are no longer covered, and his sweaters DO NOT FIT HIM. In addition the cut IS VERY uneven, especially around his eyes and neck. My poor baby. Mia is incredibly rude and they have not issued my refund. I have attached before and after photos of my dog as well as the filth that was around the front office area. SO DIRTY!!! If I requested a FULL refund of $66.00 by the end of business on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023, and have not heard from anyone. DO NOT GO HERE! I checked their pricing and saw it was $15, plus it was only about a 7 minute drive, so I decided to try it out. As soon as we walked in, the staff immediately greeted Tyrone (he's a pug) and me, which I appreciated. They also let me know that since I brought my own shampoo, my total would be $13 instead of $15, which was a nice surprise. The place was really clean, and yes, it smells like dog, but that's kind of expected since it's a doggy daycare and boarding spot. The wash area was solid and did exactly what it needed to do. They had plenty of clean towels, plus shampoo and conditioner available if you need it, and a good assortment of grooming tools. Overall, it was convenient, affordable, and way easier than trying to do this at home.

It was one of the best decisions I've ever made for both Buzz and me! Buzz struggles with anxiety and reacts nervously when new people approach, especially on walks or in public places like restaurant patios. From our very first session, Betty made both of us feel comfortable and confident. She immediately recommended a no-pull harness that made a huge difference. Walking Buzz and his corgi brother, Phil, is finally fun again! I truly missed our morning walks, and it feels amazing to enjoy them again without constantly worrying about Buzz pulling away or Phil getting loose because my attention was elsewhere. What stood out most is that Betty doesn't just train dogs -- she trains their owners, too. She helped me learn how to communicate more clearly and understand what Buzz is feeling. Betty gave us exercises to build trust and confidence. He's already such a happy pup, but he lit up even more during each session, as you can see in his picture! You could tell how proud he was every time he got something right. The whole experience strengthened our bond even more, and I ended up enjoying training far more than I ever expected. Betty also gave us fantastic techniques to help Buzz stay calm when meeting new people, both out in public and at home. He's learned that his bed is his "safe spot," and now he'll go there on his own when guests arrive until he's ready to say hello. It's been such a big, wonderful change seeing him so much more relaxed and secure. We did three sessions at Canine PhD and three at home, which was the perfect balance. It gave us the chance to practice in both structured and real-life settings, and between sessions, we had Betty's helpful homework to reinforce what we were learning and keep us progressing even outside of training. The pricing was very reasonable and the value we got from the training far exceeded what we paid. What I appreciated most was Betty's honesty and empathy. She set realistic expectations right from the start, explaining that this wouldn't be a quick fix -- and she was right. Some dogs are just naturally more anxious, but she gave us the tools and confidence to help Buzz make real progress. I can't recommend Betty and Canine PhD enough! She's a wonderful person! Super patient, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in helping both dogs and their humans succeed.
