Does it accept card or cash?

They accept both. My mom, who lives in Alaska, had to cover the expenses to euthanize my dog earlier this year because his illness came on so sudden and they took her credit card info over the phone and charged it. They are an awesome company.

Dr.Richard Kim was also so amazing and made my cat feel safe as well which was a huge plus because it was her first real serious vet visit. Dr. Kim advised to come back if my cat continued vomiting since it was already day 2 of not being able to hold anything down. unfortunately i had to go back because my cat did not get better (in fact, she got worse) this time around i got stuck with vet assistant Andrea and Dr. Emmanuel Pimentel. my experience with them was honestly 0/10 they made me feel like an idiot for going back when not only was i advised to do so but obviously my cat was getting worse she had a fever this time, still vomiting (this all started because she ate hair ties but threw some up), wasn't using the restroom and when i expressed that concern to Pimentel he said "ok so what's the issue" hello ??? i just explained what was going on she could've had a blockage happening and explained i was told to come back if worsening symptoms i definitely didn't come back to waste money for fun. Andrea seemed like she didn't want to be there and didn't seem knowledgeable and gave half assed answers whenever i asked any questions. my mom was with me and asked Andrea questions as well and while yes maybe they were certain things she couldn't answer, she was just super condescending about it and even asked my mom if she was a doctor (she's not) mind you all my mom asked was if animals get MRIs with or without contrast like the way humans do lol. gross experience with them it honestly made me so upset they had zero compassion and almost made me never want to come back here again. going to make sure i never get helped by them by calling ahead of time to make sure i don't see them. my recent experience yesterday was vet assistant Karen and Dr. Pamintuan THEY RESTORE MY FAITH IN THIS PLACE! both super sweet and knowledgeable. Dr. Pamintuan went into great detail/tips on how to handle testing, vaccinating, and feeding the stray kitty i brought in. since i have a cat at home (the one that was ill last month) he let me know about the risks of bringing home the stray cat and how to keep them apart for a few days/weeks until stray kitty was clear of worms/parasites. super insightful since i didn't know too much about all that. i'm super happy with the service i received from Dr. Kim and Dr. Pamintuan. they made me want to keep coming here.

Throughout the wk, new meds and food were introduced so not sure if that had an effect on him. I brought him saturday morning and the staff? Kind. The techs? Sweet. The doctor? Richard Kim? Terrible. He comes in and says "he probably has pancreatitis and will need this and that" then leaves. Tech comes in and hands me the estimate. Mind you, I asked him when he came in, what could have caused this? Could it have been the sudden meds? The food? He completely ignored me. We proceed with blood work and then he comes in and says "told you it was pancreatitis" and shows me his results. And I was like "where does it show this like what levels are high? How did this happen" doesn't say anything and proceeds to say "he will need to be hospitalized for 2-3 days and its super expensive, let us know" and leaves again. The tech comes in and says "here is the outpatient estimate" and im like huh? And she says, "he said you guys declined".. um we never declined? So then she goes out and gets me an estimate for a hospital stay. I asked the tech if I can request a different doctor because clearly, he was not answering any questions I had and she had said she wasn't sure but could ask. We proceed to approve it and we pay and we leave. As I'm driving home, they call me telling me to go back because they need to sedate him because he doesn't let himself. I drive back, pick him up, and just leave because he is a 20 year old cat, I am not sedating him. It sucks how I had a previous visit with him with my other cat and he actually answered my questions and what not. This time, it was super terrible. If you do go to this clinic, please try avoiding this doctor. I have not had any other visits with different doctors at this clinic but hopefully they are way better than Dr. Kim. I ended up taking my cat to VEG-ER in santa clarita where he was hospitalized. Truly 10/10 experience, if anyone is looking to take their pet during an emergency.

This is not my first review of our beloved Dr G, and I just recommended her to 6 more people again just these past 2 weeks. I always say to people I give her card to: "you will discover she is an Earth Angel - if she moved to a different town, I'd take my pup there... When you find a great vet, they are Gold! She's not only compassionate, present and knowledgeable, but also she does not oversell." Besides all the regular check ups, Dr G. has performed 2 substantial surgeries on my pup in the last 8 years, and has been extremely kind, providing valuable reassuring step-by-step updates throughout, especially aware that I had lost my beloved first dog, (with a different vet), when he did not make it through the anesthesia... In the 8 years Dr G. has been our one and only vet; everyone I have sent to Dr G. has fallen in love with her, and has thanked me for the referral. I trusted Dr G and her small compassionate team with the euthanasia of my precious second dog, Handsome. She is truly an Angel on Earth. At her Chatsworth location, I love that she's created a lovingly cozy "home environment" for the euthanasia experience. That it so needed during that deeply emotional time, and more veterinary offices ought to follow her example. I found her many years ago when I was dissatisfied with a busy veterinary front desk in Sherman Oaks, after they had made errors in my first dog's chart. Unfortunately he passed, and I learned that finding the RIGHT professional truly makes ALL the difference. So yes, I drive from Sherman Oaks. Gratefully so :) I am thankful that my cherished pups are her patients. Her ethics, her care, her kindness, her knowledge, her integrity - she's our number 1!!!

Dr. Gonzalez was kind, patient, and thorough, taking the time to explain each step of the euthanasia process. She ensured our dog's maximum comfort throughout, even creating a makeshift pillow so he could rest peacefully. We were heartbroken, but her understanding and gentle approach gave us comfort while making the process completely painless and stress-free for our giant furbaby. She was available the same day and brought in a caring team afterward to respectfully and compassionately assist with our 132-pound dog. The thoughtfulness, professionalism, and empathy shown by Gemcore made an unbearable moment a little more bearable. We are deeply grateful and highly recommend them to anyone seeking a veterinary team that truly cares.

The receptionist asked me what was going on, relayed the information to the vet on duty because they were at capacity for the evening, & then thankfully came back to the phone to let me know that they could accept us. The receptionist & staff were super friendly & attentive. The vet, Dr. Gouldburn, was equally as friendly & attentive, & really took his time with us to understand what was going on, examine our dog, & go over the best course of action with us. No unnecessary bloodwork or x-rays were taken or even suggested. He felt confident enough about his diagnosis & suggested we try the pain meds first. Two days later they called to follow up with me to see how our dog was doing, & see if the medication was helping. A few days later our dog developed an irregular symptom, so I called the office. After explaining the symptom to the receptionist, she had me email them a picture & the vet would follow up with me after reviewing it. They could have totally asked me bring my dog in & pay the exam fee so I really appreciate their honestly with not charging their customers unnecessarily. That evening the vet called me & let me know that after reviewing the picture, it did not look like an urgent situation, & to just monitor my dog & let them know if the issue persists or if any other new symptoms develop. He was right, the symptom was not cause for concern & went away the next day. I am so impressed with their office & protocols, & I would definitely recommend them.
