Their thick coats can be challenging for some groomers, but she handles them with ease. They always come home looking great and, just as importantly, they're happy. If you want to throw your money away, go ahead and come here. But you can get better care at a better price anywhere else. The front desk crew is still great, they were so pleasant and joyful through the entire contact. Dr Jimenez is not capable and I found her to be pushy and unpleasant to deal with. I question the ability of the techs who had my dogs... they could not manage a simple nail trim- but still charged me full price. Substandard results and a push for high priced medications or procedures that were unneeded or better purchased elsewhere.

Then--------- I had always taken and picked her up. This time, my husband dropped her off. Normally, Lauren took the leash from me and to the grooming table they went. Yesterday, my husband was told by Lauren that she was 2 hours behind. She took the leash and he left. Jacki was our rescue 6 years ago. She was kept in a kennel all day and night for a very, very long time. I had given her history to the groomer and was told she wouldn't need to be kenneled. After my husband told me, I rushed out the door to get her. I walked in, and found Jacki in the kennel **** with her collar and leash wrapped around her leg and chest, still on!!! Her ears were flat like she was scared. No water in the kennel either. I was appalled. Who puts a dog in a kennel and leaves them like that? This establishment does. I opened the kennel door and Jacki shyly came out acting unsure and frightened. Lauren walked a bit towards me from the opposite side of the room, but never came close. No apology. She repeated that she was 2 hours behind as if she had no idea that Jacki was neglected and mistreated. I had to speak louder than normal since she never came over to me. I told her that she should have called me and asked if I could bring her later or reschedule. She said she would next time. I will not be going back. There won't be a next time, not ever. When we got outside, Jacki returned to her loving self. She gave me kisses and pulled me to the car. No apology or follow-up call from them. No recognition of how Jacki was treated so badly. Never again. I have since spoken with several dog people and knowledgeable in training. They would never leave a dog with a collar and leash on in the kennel. Everyone was appalled at Jacki's treatment.

Since her first July 4th scare-the-heck-out-of-dogs experience she has been scared, skittish, and just wants to go home. (fireworks SUCK) But in AGAIN! In comes Meggo's and the staff. She comes in, wary, a little scared, but the staff comes and brings her right back in. Even tho I take her potty beforehand (literally in the grass outside of the shop) she almost always has a nervous accident. I always apologize but the staff literally just says "no worries, we LOVE HER". I also really want to emphasize that they do not do cages here. Dogs get to interact with each other and be themselves with people and dogs alike. Love Meggo's, I am a customer for life!

I was hesitant to leave an honest review due to the unprofessional responses the owner is leaving,…read morehowever I've determined that my dogs safety and awareness is more important. When making an appointment I made it clear that I only wanted a bath, brush, de-shed, and nail trim. I wanted nothing cut or trimmed at all. The gentleman on the phone assured me that they wouldn't do anything but that (as I do the rest myself at home). When I picked up my dog the groomer I was told that I would have a $15 additional charge since my dog was "difficult to handle" (this had never been an issue at any of the groomers he has been to so I was shocked but none the less complied). She then informed me that she scratched my dogs nose with the brush. I wasn't worried about it at first because I figured it was an honest mistake, it didn't look noticeable at the time, and I appreciated her telling me upfront. I paid and went home. Once I got home his nose was bleeding and he kept licking his private. I took a closer look and saw that not only did they cut around his stomach, they cut the tip of his private and it was also red bleeding. I know that it is customary to do a hygienic clip during a groom but I specifically asked for nothing but the bath and NO CUT AT ALL. My poor dog is now having to wear a cone to prevent him from getting an infection where they cut his private. His nose is starting to heal thankfully but I'm still very concerned about his other injury. I'm disappointed and heart broken that my baby is suffering from something that never should have happened.

And she even added cute pigtails with bows. This business is busy (I'm glad- hope they remain around for a long time) so they book sometimes 2-3 months out, but don't let that deter you, just plan ahead or ask if they can place you on the waitlist. To their credit, they actually remember to call you when they have openings! (I was able to get in today instead of waiting for an appointment in March.) Thank you Tori and the entire staff!

They carry items that aren't in big box stores like Petsmart or Petco. They also carry specialty dog and cat food, both wet and dry. When I want to try a new dog treat, I come here. 2. I've only tried the do it yourself dog wash once but unfortunately I won't return. My dogs hate baths so I need to be as quick and efficient as possible. While I appreciate having a gated room to use, it was an awkward set up, soap was a separate bottle and my dogs were freaking out from the noise of other dogs being groomed. Plus I paid almost $50 for both dogs, no thank you.
