They always greeted her by name & with love. The daily photo report cards were the highlight of our day. At the age of 18 (mostly blind & deaf) she passed away last week. I notified them and canceled an upcoming appointment. Today we received a card in the mail with a personal message from each employee. It brought tears to our eyes and further validated our decision to forgo cheaper alternatives and entrust her to these caring staff members who go above and beyond. They have our eternal gratitude.

The wonderful people there completely understood that his long fluffy coat is a nessecesity to the breed and should not be cut or shaved. Instead, we experienced weeks of poor communication, inconsistent treatment, and missed warning signs. Despite repeated visits and clear symptoms--vomiting, not eating, high glucose levels and rapidly declining health--we were repeatedly told it would "take time" and that she was likely battling a UTI. Different veterinarians saw her without reviewing prior records or ER notes. Critical steps in managing her diabetes were delayed, and her worsening condition was not fully addressed. It wasn't until far too late that we learned she was also suffering from pancreatitis, which explained everything we had been desperately trying to get answers for. Even in her final days, communication continued to break down. We were left confused, without clear guidance, and ultimately without the chance to properly help her. We trusted this office with our dog's life. The lack of coordinated care and delayed diagnosis cost us the chance to save her. Till this day we haven't received a follow up call from the vet hospital to check in on how our dog is doing since December 22, 2025. We lost our dog on Christmas Eve, three weeks after the first vet visit. We share this so other families avoid this vet office in the hopes of saving their puppy. We reached out to the main office to speak to upper management on Jan 15, 2026 we are still awaiting a response.

This happened back in March, but I'm just now able to recount my experience. My dog Knox (14 1/2)…read morewas ready to go. He had been declining the past few weeks, and the night before it was evident he was ready. He used to love car rides, but over the previous year they made him incredibly anxious. I tried to arrange an in-home service, but they were all booked beyond where he could continue peacefully. I called EOAH and they were kind and fit me in. The ride over was absolutely horrible. He was so terrified. Once there I brought him in. I asked for a sedative, because he was having horrific anxiety. They told me they needed to take him back to put a line in so they could administer the Euthanasia drugs. I asked if I could stay with him. They agreed and put us in a room. A tech and assistant came in to put the line in. It was horrendous. Knox flailed so hard. He was terrified. It took them ten minutes to get the line in. There was blood smeared all over the floor, and he was in a state I had never witnessed before. Again I asked for a sedative. They said the Dr. would be right in. About 10 minutes later she did. Knox never settled down. He was so distressed. She started the process where they give a sedative to almost knock them out. He finally dropped in my arms and appeared to be out. She left so I could say goodbye. Not 45 seconds after she left,he got up and was in hard distress again. I started yelling for assistance. Finally an assistant came in to tell me the Dr. would be back shortly. When the Dr. returned, she administered another sedative and then the final drug. He was gone. I have gone through this process with several of my dogs in the past. Never have any of them had such an awful departing. I spoke to my good friend who is a vet out of state. She was horrified they didn't give him a sedative immediately, before they attempted to put the line in his leg. It was so simple. I asked over and over. They didn't care. There was ZERO empathy for what he was clearly going through. My last memories of him haunt me. I was supposed to take care of him. I will never forgive East Orlando Animal Hospital for the egregious way they handled his leaving. It was completely unnecessary and easily preventable.

If you want somewhere where you can enroll whenever and there's not as much due diligence in acclimating new dogs to groups then go somewhere other than Ranger's. My pup has been going for more than 7 years and he loves it.

Today, I went to have my puppy's nails trimmed after calling to confirm there was someone there to trim them. Once I arrived, I was told a mask is manditory, which I have abandoned and have none with me, but no one told me this when I called. And, there were no customers in the store. Then I was instructed to wait outside until her nails were done but there were no chairs to sit in to wait. While I was walking to the door to wait outside, my puppy escaped from her collar and ran to me, probably thinking I was leaving her. The staff restraining her became frantic and hollered at me to catch her. This only aggitated my puppy more and they had to drag her off with two leashes. I drive out of my way to support this business but they are too busy with other distractions to care professionally for their customers and dogs. If they require masks that no one else in the area requires, then they should alert customers in advance, manage situations, and provide a comfortable waiting area or masks for those without.
